The parking lot was completely full but I found one space to park in. As we got to the door, several groups of people came out and we were able to get a table in a few (like 3) minutes. Leslie J got us started with chips, salsa, & cold draft beer. We ordered the Chef Plate and the chicken mole. My wife said the mole was good and a little sweet (every Chef makes it a little different). My beef relleno, cheese enchilada, & guacamole we're excellent. The chili was only slightly different from a Sonic chili burger and honestly, Sonic has more flavor in theirs sadly. I wasn't offered any options for the chili burger and none listed on the menu. Chili burger is what the menu says and that's what you get. No option for onions or grilled onions or anything else. It's definitely not worth $8. Maaaaaybe $4-6 and $6 being generous. $8 should come with fries at least. Basic flavor. Basic presentation. Then you're most likely feeling the need to tip on top of that. The parking area was at least clean. People coming and going makes you think it's a popular spot but makes me wonder if there's better places to go even if I had to walk inside. Great place to pick up food for the kids, grandparents or a quick bite but don't expect much if you want flavor. You pay more than what you get.

The mashed potatoes, gravy and fried okra were really tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. In case you're interested, I guess they have a buffet every day. I looked at it before we ordered. There was spaghetti, chicken-fried chicken, and fried catfish. They have two or three of the typical buffet vegetables along with a salad bar. All of the things on the salad bar looked fresh, but they had those little red BB's that are a substitute for bacon bits. That is classic West Texas, small town salad bar right there.
