I had made an appointment at the RMV, but it wasn't for several weeks and a friend mentioned that it would be faster to go to AAA. I looked into it and sure enough, I could get an appointment the following week, so I set up an account and purchased a membership in order to book it. The appointment went smoothly enough. Arrived, waited a few minutes, did the paperwork, got the photo taken, received a temporary, and was told the permanent card would arrive in the mail. It did, looked fine, I didn't think anything about it. Last week, I went to fill out some paperwork and it required my driver's license info. I started entering it but then I got to the expiration and thought, "that must be a mistake." Read it again. Nope. It expires in two weeks. I attempted to contact the branch office numerous times. It's impossible to get through. Today I sat on hold for 20 minutes and of course, was rerouted to a call center. I explained the situation and after looking into it, the agent confirmed that yes, a mistake had been made. I had requested a renewed license and they had sent me a duplicate. I stated that they need to mail me a corrected license, but instead I was informed that they expect me to spend the time and money to go through the process all over again. This was 1000000% not my mistake and I should not be penalized for having to correct something that was done on their end. The application was already filled out, documentation was already presented, fees were already paid, and the new photo was already taken. This is beyond an inconvenience or poor customer service. This is a complete failure. Absolutely do not recommend.

She was extremely helpful in switching our auto insurance and also trying to save us money on our homeowners insurance. As life would have it, only a few months into our new insurance, my wife and I were awoken by the police at 2am. Someone had drunkenly backed down our street and scrapped up the side of one of our cars (along with at least one other on the street). One of our neighbors had seen the entire incident and called the police. The officer took our information and said he'd have a report for us in a few days. When we finally got the police report, almost all the information for the drunk driver and witness was blacked out. I tried dealing with a claim through our insurance, and they were LESS than helpful. Out of frustration I spoke with Amanda about the situation, and she said she'd see what she could do. OH MAN DID SHE GET IT DONE!! Amanda called the police department and asked for the driver's information and insurance company. Their reply? "This is America . . . [they should have their own insurance], you need to protect your belongings." Absolutely despicable (yes, that officer is DEFINITELY getting reported). Through her own time and research, Amanda eventually found out the other driver HAD THE SAME AUTO INSURANCE COMPANY I DID! The insurance company didn't even check their own system for the other guy's insurance. Amanda was cool, calm, and collected through the entire process, and I KNOW I wouldn't have been able to deal with any of this without her.
