Nice little shop, helpful staff. If you are looking for a pot of tea, you can get their tea next door at Tesoros Cafe.

Uncommon Grounds - Mediterranean breakfast sandwich

Uncommon Grounds

Whenever I'm traveling for work, I'm always on the lookout for spots that have:…read more 1) Great coffee 2) Great savory breakfast bites So many coffee shops nail the first count but miss on the second (lots of pastry cases but not as much savory options). Uncommon Grounds nails it on both counts and is a great spot to get a little work done to boot. Stopped by this location when I was in the area for some coffee and breakfast. I'm usually in search of sugar free options as well as milk alternatives. Uncommon Grounds had a couple sugar free options (yay! caramel and vanilla) and a few different milk alternatives. I got a caramel latte made with almond milk and it was dreamy. For my breakfast, I got the Mediterranean breakfast sandwich on a salt bagel. It came with egg, spinach, avocado, tomato, and a bit of pesto. Delicious! The only tiny thing for me was the tomato made the sandwich kinda slippery and difficult to eat so the next time I ordered it (which was literally the next day), I got it with double the spinach and no tomato. The service was really lovely and the prices are reasonable. They're a popular spot and were pretty busy when I was in and even with that everyone was so kind and helpful. Get to it!

This is really a comment on several locations because they're fairly consistent. Hot drinks have…read moreall been solid. Tea, coffee, cappuccino, etc. Prices are an A+. Service is consistently meh. Aside from a couple of very friendly staff, most visits are met with employees moving like they just woke up resulting in lines. Never bothers me because I usually go there to get a little work done, but it's not a place I'd go if I'm in a rush. Well to be fair, the airport team is always EXCELLENT. Here's my only negative. I just bought a dozen bagels and they were hockey pucks. I tried. Couldn't do it. Inedible. But weird because I usually grab a breakfast sandwich at their airport locations the they've been very good. Did I get a horrible batch? Idk? Seating is tight. I'm part of the problem. Lots of students. But I've also seen couples, friends, retirees, etc. not on any tech enjoying a long conversation with their group which I think is a plus. Solid 5 most visits, but those Clifton Park bagels were memorable in a not so pleasant way.

Line was out the door the entire time (I'm shocked there are only a handful of reviews for this place). A couple of us did the coffee flights and they were delicious! It's also a fun little activity- they pair a small dessert with a little iced coffee (they give you 4 pairings). I had low expectations for the food but I was so wrong. Everything we had was amazing. They sold out of the breakfast pizza but the bacon, egg and cheese croissant was delicious. (It's not swanky, but it's delicious for coffee shop food) Tons of seating but we were there for a while and the insane line never broke- so try to get a seat in the other room so you're not relaxing next to a giant line of people.

I knew I wanted to try the on and jelly latte but as a cold brew and that didn't disappoint! Tastes just like a pj and jelly sandwich. The breezy was just as tasty but I've already gone back two more times for the pb and j cold brew. The line moves fast and all of the workers have been very friendly and efficient. They all look happy to be there and that speaks a lot. There is plenty of seating with two separate rooms. I didn't get pictures of the second room but it's cute! The decor and the ambience is just so relaxing. Definitely somewhere I'd go to frequently if I lived closer.

Kcaffe - Great tea mochi donut

We placed our order and the owner who has his face plastered everywhere had an arrogant attitude. He acted like we were wasting his time. We ordered 3 general tso combos with pork fired rice, two mango pineapple smoothies, and three mochi donuts. We asked for white meat which he said with a huff and puff that everything is white meat. This wasn't the case, the chicken was tough to eat and had a lot of dough compared to chicken. It had globs of sauce on it which did taste kind of good. We asked for pork fried rice which to our knowledge included in the 11.11 price. No no no it was 2 extra per plate. So now we're looking at 13.11 per combo. My fault for not reading the menu fine print that you can see was tapped to the window in my included photo, top left of the photo. Not only that, what I got was chicken fried rice which if I had to pick was the only good tasting item I had. The smoothies had a chemical taste to them, it didn't taste like a real smoothie. We asked for boba and he immediately said that is extra. They had 3 donuts o a rack that looked like a display case, so we ordered 3 to try out. First time eating mochi donuts. He took them out the case threw them in a box and put all our food on a table while we were standing in front of him. The rose donut tastes like eating a real rose. Not sure how you guys feel about that. The churro donut had little flavor. The cookies and cream donut was good. Total damage was 64 dollars. I would have been better off going to a buffet. At least if the service was better maybe I would have gave it 2 stars. We won't be coming back here.

This spot is a great quick stop for mornings…read more My wife and I stopped in a few days ago and ordered a smoothie bowl, a bagel, a smoothie, and a matcha. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The matcha was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care -- prepared in a proper bowl and whisked with a bamboo whisk. I asked for a bit of honey, which really pulled the entire experience together. Honestly, I'd give this place a 5/5 based on the matcha alone. The smoothie bowl (I go the one that has banana, peanut butter, honey, and some other toppings) was great overall, though I did have one small complaint: there were a few large chunks of ice mixed in, and I accidentally bit into them. Aside from that, the bowl was flavorful and enjoyable. My wife ordered a smoothie, which was just okay. I didn't particularly care for it, and she unfortunately didn't end up finishing it. The service was excellent. The woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful, and she even recommended the matcha -- which turned out to be a great suggestion. One last note: we had visited this spot about a year ago, and it looks like the interior has completely changed since then. The new layout is bright and welcoming, no longer dark, and features a mostly gray palette with accent plants and furniture that bring everything together nicely. It feels much cozier than before.
