Went here for a manicure and gel polish. After less than 9 days and over $60 dollars the polish started lifting completely up. When I looked under the polish I was a green fungus like color under there. I went back and she said it was water under the nail and polish. After over 20 years of getting my nails done I have never had these happen before! She started peeling the polish off with a cuticle remover that she just picked up off her table not sanitized or in a wrapper. When I asked her to stop and soak it off the right way she had an attitude and was rude! Never apologized for possibly give me an infection or wasting my money for my nails to last less than 9 days. After reading all the comments in regard to sanitation of equipment and disregard to public health I will be sending the board the reviews.
I've been going here for about 5-6 years now and I only let Cathy touch my hands,nails, and eyebrows! She is amazing and takes her time! She always have the greatest designs and treats me like family!
Terrible customer service. The shop was not clean and the employees are not friendly. I sat with a friend that was having her nails done and actually refused to get my nails done when I saw them using the same equipment on numerous people without cleaning afterwards. It's important to speak English as well as their language and greet people right away . It's basic customer service to acknowledge customers when they walk in the door . I will not be back and I will tell all of my clients not to go there.
I've been going here for about a year or so and really enjoyed going to Tracey who did the best eyebrows and feet. Now the prices wasn't that bad I think it started around $30/35 for a regular pedicure and eyebrows. Now I went today and the price jumped to $45! This is just a regular pedicure not damn spa! And the older woman did a pretty good job but she never asked me if I wanted some water, juice, etc like Tracey did and the other nail techs did their customers. Also, I asked to put glitter on a couple of my toes which she didn't understand or ignored. Also, my eyebrows did not turn out like I wanted them to and when I asked her to pluck this one pesky hair to make it look good she wouldn't do it. So I'm going to have to find me another place because spending $45 on a regular pedicure and only eyebrows is too rich for my blood. Hell I didn't even get gel polish everything was basic! And the polish already is coming off...Smdh
My overall visit was not bad, however I wish I had a better outcome. When I arrived (on a Saturday) I was able to immediately sit down and let my nails soak. After about 5 minutes, a technician started on my nails. She didn't say anything to me, expect ask the general questions like "what color." Normally that would somewhat bother me but it actually didn't because at this salon there's a nice medium sized T.V. that I was able to watch. Plus I loved that it wasn't a boring channel like a shopping channel, which I've seen at other salons. Haha! She moved pretty efficiently and the time went by fast, even though it was an elapsed time of two hours. Now I loved the INITIAL outcome and I would have given this location 5 stars but the durability of the nails is where this location lacked. Typically when I get the SNS dip powder I get the neutral powder first, then color powder, and then a clear top coat, however that's not what happened here. First she applied the color, the neutral powder, and then the clear coat at the top. I have no idea if that was the cause of my problem but I always get the sns dip powder and I've tried it at several different locations and I have never had the top coat peel off!! The very next day the clear top coat peeled! It was soooooooo ugly. I got my nails done Saturday, Sunday they started peeling, and Monday they were hideous! I tried to play it off because only two nails were peeled by Monday, but they were so bad that a coworker, while at work, said "you got a new color but they don't look so fresh" -_-!!! Listen, with the price being $50 (typically $40 at other locations) I don't expect things like this happening! I hope it was just this technician and not every single worker. However if I ever decide to return ( the chances seem very slim) I'll prob go to the manager or ask for someone that is praised in the reviews.
It always feels weird (being a man) walking into a nail place to get a pedicure. This place made me feel very welcomed and I didn't get the foreign language chatter wondering if they were talking about me! HAHAHA. $25 for a pedicure. The lady was very nice and did a good job. There were plenty of chairs and a huge TV to watch while you sat in the chair. The massage chair I was in worked great (all the buttons and features).
I would have loved to give Divine 5 stars but I'll get to that at the end.... The staff were all friendly and oh so nice. I got the deluxe pedicure and the technician took her time. The massage was great. My daughter got a pedicure and manicure. Her technician seemed new but more experienced technicians were there watching over what she was doing. She did a great job. They offered a beverage and made us feel comfortable. Now for the part I did not like, being from New York I am not sure what the rules are as far as sanitation. But when they were exfoliating our feet, they used a pumice that had obviously seen its fair share of feet. It was well worn. And I am not sure pouring alcohol all over the cuticle tools really sanitizes them. Here's to hoping I don't get a foot infection.
Went here to get my nails done before my wedding ! I got my usual (when I get my nails done) which is gel french manicure and french pedicure. Dan was my nail tech and he did an amazing job :) He was nice and friendly and joked around while being very meticulous about getting my nails done perfectly :) He also did a great job with my eyebrows. I have been to this location before 3 years ago and I'm glad I came back to get ready for my big day :)
I came in on a Saturday afternoon and was expecting to wait for a little while, I was greeted and asked what I needed, was told to pick a color and have a seat, sat down for maybe 2 minutes when Kay came over and brought me to her station. I asked her if she could do a specific design and she said yes without hesitation. I loooooove how my flowers came out! Just as good as the picture I showed her. I've been looking for a good nail tech for yeeeaaaaaars and I'm happy I can say I finally found one! My review is more for Kay, but everyone in the salon seemed nice! Salon was clean, and spacious. Definitely will be going back soon!
I was frantic when I went to Divine Nail and Spa. I had just come from a Stafford salon where I was a regular customer to find the salon had been closed down. I was indeed desperate for a much needed fill in. I was assigned to Kim. Her work was superb!! From the shaping, to applying the acrylic, to the excellent painting. She even had to replace a tip that had cracked. Since I had never had my nails done here before i originally was thinking I would just get the fill in and polish. But as I observed Kim's technique and meticulous application, I decided to pull out my phone and showed her the design that I was going to have done at my regular salon. I could see that she could handle exactly what I was looking for. I am tickled pink that I don't have to search for another salon for mani/pedi needs. I'll be going back next week to get a pedicure. Kim also waxed my brows. Another great job!! Thank you Kim!! You have a new regular to add to your clientele!!
I had an appointment on Monday (2/10/2020) with Vicky @ 4 p.m. I arrived @ 3:55 p.m. I was told that Vicky was next door. Another individual called Vicky on her cell phone. Once she hung up, the individual came over to me & started to clip my nails and utilize the tool to remove some of the nail polish. Vicky arrived and communicated to me that my appointment was @ 3. I said I had it on my calendar for 4 and that you should have called me as a reminder. Vicky got the bowl for soaking to remove my nail polish. While doing this Vicky asked me did I pick out the color. I said no. Vicky said you need to and "hurry up". I was really taken back by her statement and rudeness. I replied, I did not have a chance because my nails are soaking. Vicky was rushing through the whole process. She left a lot of the old nail polish color on my nails and put the tips on. I inquired about her removing the old color and she said don't worry I know what I am doing. At this point, I was quite disturbed by her actions. All during my appointment, her co worker was sitting next to us and they engaged in a conversation in Vietnamese, which I found totally rude and offensive. Vicky did a rush job and offered to put a valentine on my nail. I declined the offer. She said "I will do it free." I said no. She did it anyway and put the valentine on upside down. I said something about it and she ignored me. I see spaces where the nail polish is shallow or missing on the sides of my nails. She usually matches the length of the nails with the other hand so they will all be even. She did not do that this time. It was a complete rush job couple with rudeness. If she had another appointment, which she did @ 5, all she had to do was communicate this and have me reschedule. Obviously, greed set in. I will not be returning to Divine Nail & Spa as I was not totally satisfied with the level of service by Vicky but I was hoping for better. This incident definitely made me make up my mind not to return. I will go to Happy Nails 13422 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Woodbridge VA 2219. They are not rude and they off their clients water, coffee, tea, a variety of sodas, a variety of wine & champagne accompanied with a small plate of a variety of fresh fruit. I demand to be treated with respect where I spend my $$$$.

Told her twice the tip was off twice was told no it was fine so I just stopped telling her I didn't like something. Just did what she wanted. She's friendly though. read more

I went Divine Nail Salon today-10/22/19 to get a powder dip fill. I had been here once before and my nails were decent so I came back. This time my nails looked horrible. The powder dip was very thick, uneven, bumpy, and my nails not filed evenly. Powder was all over my cuticles. As I was getting my nails done, I expressed concerns. The nail tech seemed very annoyed with me. Once finished, I told her I didn't like them and she started yelling at me. Telling me that she spent 2 hours on them and she can't help me and said it's cause of my nails. She was very rude and aggressive!!! She offered to do my nails over in a very nasty/rude tone but did not feel comfortable with her touching me. I never once spoke to her rudely and even gave her a tip despite the poor work. She had a nerve to be mean. See pictures of why I WILL NOT be coming back to this salon. read more

The worst salon I've ever been to... dipping powder on natural nail 55$ with taking previous one off, but it's terrible and unprofessional. Never ever again. I asked lady to fix it and she just basically didn't fix anything, just cuticles at the very and and she thought it will fix it. Please don't ever go there and don't waste your money. I brought my daughter to have her nails done & for a fresh pedicure Saturday morning. We were expecting to wait for a little but that was not the case. We were greeted immediately and asked what we needed. Terry was our tech, she was awesome. My daughter showed her a picture of her chosen design. Today's nails was for a special occasion, her first HOMECOMING and they look amazing just as the picture. Terry took her time to get the colors right. She definitely made my daughter's day. Everyone in the salon seemed nice and welcoming. Salon looked beautiful after their recent renovations. We'll be coming back soon! read more

I must have searched 6-8 salons before my husband and I came to this one. Unfortunately I did not ask for my nail technician's name but she was so patient with me. I can be indecisive and change my mind a few times before making a decision, annoying, I know. Through out the whole process, I never felt rushed. I didn't feel like the women talked too much, they weren't chatting much amongst themselves which is typical and common but this made the atmosphere very relaxing. They did an awesome job on my husband. He is very hard on his hands and feet and they took their time and paid attention to detail for the both of us. This was a great first experience and we will be coming back! read more

Second time here, loved my nails last time! Not sure who my recognition was (young with glasses? Anyone know her name?) this past time i got a different lady & I'm not very happy. She charged me full price for fills & the nails are extremely thick, paints messy, & oddly shaped. read more

Had an amazing experience for a few reasons: 1. Salon was not too busy so I felt like I could relax more 2. Lisa, my nail tech is AMAZING. Very respectful, takes her time to make sure you are satisfied with her work. She is very efficient and completes both manicures and pedicures in a timely manner and to the best of her ability. Been with her from one salon to the next. 3. The chairs for the pedicure were pretty comfortable 4. The new OPI collection was available with many beautiful colors to chose from Few things I didn't like, 1. The design of the salon was too crowded , pictures of random things on the walls. It was unpleasant to look at. Also i personally hate fake flowers so it makes the appearance of the salon look full of clutter. 2. The other employees were very loud in their personal conversations, in Vietnamese. This is a place to relax not to listen to loud chatter I think that's the only reason I give it 4 stars. Very relaxing atmosphere is must appreciated. The customer service is wonderful. I feel most happy about that. The staff is very attentive to your needs before you even ask. The lady that did my leg wax did the most amazing job. I felt no pain at all. My pedicure was lovely. I would definitely come back. read more

This is the worst experience that I had with SNS on my nails and they are trash. The reason you get SNS is so that you can keep your nails growing healthy don't go to them if you want this to be your case. Also I had to have my ring finger re-done or you can clearly see they did not match up the color and the nail looks horrible this business should be shut down. read more

So my experience is with a particular nail tech. I've been going to Lam for years and always love how she takes her time and get my nails right. She dose the best eyebrows also. I have two very different eyebrows and they always have the perfect arch and thickness when I go to Lam. Everyone I've recommended to her loves her and happy I shared so, I figure why not tell everyone else how great she is because finding an excellent nail tech in this area is not easy to come by. I've also heard from friends that VicKi is also very good I've just never had the personal experience with her as I have Lam. So if you don't want to take a chance and get it done right the first time go to Lam. read more
