Each visit has been exactly as expected. Makamae is professional and great at communicating to ensure you are well taken care of. She will ask and check-in to make sure you get the most out of your visit. Because of this, I don't go to any other place for my massages. Makamae knows how to mālama (take care) and I am always very grateful. Today, my most current visit, I didn't realize how tense and knotted up I was. Makamae found these spots and targeted them for me when I asked her to. We wear a 20 pound belt around our hip all day. We are either sitting or standing for long periods of time throughout the day with a heavy ass gun belt. I've developed pain on my gun side of my hip and back area. Garrett treated me and lo and behold he said.... You don't have sciatica but your condition is treatable. I can't tell you how the technology works but I can tell you how it felt. During the treatment, it felt like someone was tapping by bones and I wanted to yell. I bit down on my shirt and started sweating profusely. The pain is temporary, trust me. Not long lingering chili pepper pain.. it's like zap pain then no pain. I don't know how to better describe it. After the treatment and the days to follow..... wow!!!! I mean wow!!! I started to actually be able to move my leg with less pain... I could actually walk "normal" again. On my second treatment, the tapping pain was less. I guess as you heal, there's no pain. So it's a good sign. He moved his little wand thing to around the area and I could tell the pain was less. I'm here for my 3rd treatment.... This should be the last one... I've tried stretchticians (not sure on spelling) which actually helped make me feel better temporarily.... I tried acupuncture, chiropractor, shiatsu, deep massages... those things did nothing for the pain I had. Anyway I give this place 5 stars bc Garrett is super cool, the office is clean, the cost for treatment is reasonable (cash is cheaper) card cost a bit more and most of all.... My pain subsided. Before my 3rd treatment .. I'm like at a 3 out of 10. Before I came here the pain was about a 8 or 9, depending what I was doing. I'm hoping this is my last one. I'm coming back for other pains on my body.... I'm definitely getting old and feeling pains here and there
