While we didn't find the shoe size my wife was looking for, we did find a brand and style she really liked. Additionally, I found a good pair of Nike's on sale for myself, and some shoe spray we needed. It's a great store, and I recommend stopping by, especially for mens boots. Be aware there were only 5 or so size 12's for women, but they still had a nice selection of shoes otherwise.

It was very tight and cluttered. It made me feel claustrophobic. It was hard to breathe and see, all of my sense were being used for all the wrong reasons. She starts off by telling you how good you would look in a piece and then once she says the price your face turns cold. She makes you think you're getting it for a good deal, you're not. The "dressing rooms" were just toilet stalls and they were not clean. Again, it was a very tight space and very overwhelming. She keeps giving you piles of clothes to try on, none of which is actually your style, but she keeps giving them anyways. She offered my friend, who is black, an African style muumuu and told her it was EXACTLY her style. Mind you, my friend is very grungy and isn't necessarily into that style whatsoever. It felt like a micro aggression and was very weird in our opinion. She also told my friend that I looked like I couldn't afford a designer dress, classist. At the end of the day, after trying basically everything in the store on, I decided to purchase a single garment, a shirt supposedly from the 90s. I tell her I want the shirt and that we didnt want to buy anything else and she starts lecturing us about how she has better things to do than put up with our mockery, we never mocked her. She thought the fact that we are giggly teenage girls meant we were bullying her in the stall, that obviously wasnt the case. She then says to me "Are you gonna buy the shirt or what" to which I say yes. We were very confused by all the hostility all of a sudden. We went to check out and she went on another tangent about how she has better things to do and we shouldnt waste her time trying things on, taking pictures, and making fun of this place. We didnt do anything of the sort. She was extremely rude, hostile, and pushy. I hated my experience here and will never be showing up again in the future.

Even though I didn't, she still looked over from time to time, with positive eye contact and a sincere smile. I was thinking about since the pandemic, how significant it's been for me to go anywhere. Trips to physical brick-and-mortar stores have decreased significantly. When I do go out as a consumer, I feel a store has that many more chances to both "Wow" their customers and retain them. Customer recognition is very important. I too work in customer service, and we're strictly trained that we're supposed to exceed customer expectations. Gloria and Sadie exemplified that 100%. Glen was downstairs "holding the fort down" in the Men's department, also conscientiously and respectfully asking customers if he could help them find what they were looking for. As I struggled to refold the unwanted pants correctly-to look nice and neat like all the others-he "showed and told" me how to tri-folded the Carhartt Men's workpants! Did you ever wonder how they get that fold looking so nice and neat, with the sizes clearly facing out towards the customers line of vision?! Unless you can figure it out, Glen knows and will probably show you too if you ask!! Other employees have been very helpful, polite, positive and respectful along the way, even if just calling for help to write this review, Emma and Melissa. Also, Lila was friendly and happy to step in and bag all my items purchased on Sunday. And because of Glorias excellent old-school customer service, I saved nearly $100.00 +/- on two pairs of Klogs slip resistant work shoes; two Carhartt Heavyweight Short-Sleeved Pocket T-Shirts, and two pairs of Carhartt Double-Front Workpants: black & mustard brown color!! a.k.a.
