The classes were structured so she spent more time sitting on the floor than engaged in activity. I felt it was a lazy way to conduct the classes. Then there was the costume fiasco. Measurements were wrong, sizes didn't fit. I had to beg the company to get the costumes right. After being lied to repeatedly, they finally reordered the correct sizes from another company. The recital was darling, but I cannot recommend this dance studio.

The other Moms are amazing and the staff is just over the top wonderful. She is young...only in kindergarten. And she gets pushed to do her best. And I think it's great at even this age to be pushed to reach your full potential. But you can also tell it's coming from a place of love, not just "being mean' as some would say. This is competition...you go to these to WIN and have fun but the goal is to win lol. The owner/director of the dance school has been super understanding about how much my child has been sick this year too. It's been quite worrisome as a Mom to see her so sick, but all the teachers st this studio have been really sweet and you can tell they have been really concerned. Recommend 10/10. I just can't say enough about the whole experience! They also have a GREAT in- home studio (private and perfect place to learn with plenty of space!). They worked with both my husband and I, and within each 1-hour lesson gave us both what we needed to grow as dancers. I had a lot of dance background in Latin, WCS & Country; but over the years accumulated LOTS of bad habits. They helped me return to strong basics & improved my balance, ability to follow (connection) AND gave me advanced tips on ladies variations/shaping/footwork/styling. They spent time with my hubs (learning to dance for me (US!) bless his heart!). They helped him with learning WCS, plus other dances so we had variety depending on music. They kept things simple & SUPER EASY to understand for a beginning dancer. Including help with musical timing & understanding more than 'just the steps'. They focus on timing but also specifics of being a good LEADER - building his ability to (in the future) learn any dance and lead 'anyone' with amazing stability AND grace!
