We stayed in a woodside cabin, which was sparkling clean and well-equipped. My only complaint would be that the mattresses could stand to be rotated more often as there was a near-comical slant to one of the beds. My parents and in-laws had lakeside cabins and the extra cost is well worth the breeze and more comfortable porch atmosphere, especially if you are spending all day on property vs going out and exploring.

Friends who were NAC members invited me to Escape Resort as their guest before Covid. Although I…read morehad been inside the facility several times over the years, I had never seen the new outdoor pools and water park theme up close. Have to say that while it appears to be an amusement park from beyond the fence with massive water slides and multiple aquamarine pools for various uses; from within it makes more sense and is actually quite attractive in a hyperactive way. Happy Hour with half price drinks was a good deal, and the bar food offerings were also well designed to complement the alcoholic drinks, if not all that tasty, nor compelling in their own right. So many people in a relatively small space around the bar, that conversation was a bit challenging. Plenty of alternative distractions among the many "beautiful" folks who enjoy being the center of attention, and know how to do it right, especially when encouraged with beverage. With music playing in the background the experience was a mixed bag. Clearly, the plan is a bit over the top, and made for people with kids or those who like this glitterati experience. Yet, there was a full house that evening, and business was booming. Covid put an end to the crowds for the last year, but I suspect the club will be back in action full tilt come vaccinations and reduced mask wearing. I'm the more cautious type, and will wait a while before accepting my next invitation.

I had a comped 2 night stay at WindCreek Bethlehem resort casino. I chose the new tower to get the…read morefull experience of a so called luxury stay. The check in staff were courteous, helpful and professional. Lisa at the front desk handled my check in and she was superb! The hotel lobby has been fully renovated. (From what others have told me). I booked in advance and chose the new tower. The room was beautiful. Theres light switch lights by the door to control lighting in the room as well as "privacy" and "maid service". The ac/heat control panel comes with most newer rooms and are a plus! The bed was a bit on the softer side but most likely a 'soft firm'. There are 4 pillows and they were just right and adequate. There are reading lights on both side of the beds. Keurig machine with a coffee bar, 2 bottles of water,a refrigerator, widescreen tv and a safe. All handy. There's a pouch of toiletries in the bathroom and since it was a double queen 2 sets of toiletries were included. The bathroom was nice. For the most part a nice room and I had a great stay. Now the areas of improvement. First the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was either loose or defective as the toilet paper kept falling g off! So the end that opens up I had to sit upright in order to avoid further falling. There was a slight smell of smoke in the bathroom from the vents...maybe they should've spaced out the smoking/nonsmoking rooms better. Either that or the ventilation system needs to be looked into. The tower is brand new so why am I experiencing that? The shower floor seems slippery dry as I stepped in...be careful stepping in! When I used it later it was okay. But kinda weird that a non slip shower floor felt slippery when dry. The towels although fluffy and 'clean' left small lint after drying off and I don't they washed them first.. What I mean is they literally bought new towels and didn't wash them before guest use. I wash everything when it comes to clothing, towels, blankets prior to use. The next thing is there is not enough outlets for the new iPhones (c type) but plenty of usb throughout the room. The alarm clock was the only one that had the newer type but since it seemed to not be plugged into the wall (I couldn't get behind the heavy bedside desk to check) I had to request another clock/plug. Remember to bring your own wall outlet adapter! I forgot mine. These is my experience staying at WindCreek Bethlehem resort hotel. Mostly great but needs improvements. I recommend staying here. I wanted to post this to help others.

TLDR: Amateur casino with unhealthy obsession with baccarat to the detriment of every other game…read more Pit bosses oblivious to nearly everything except for what's directly in front of them. Good dealers. Where to start? First things first, came here as a traditional MGM property player. Looking to match my rewards tier, the Wind Creek website says they match mgm gold to their "escape" tier. Making my way to the cage, I'm told they'll only match the highest and invite-only tiers from mgm. I had to start from scratch with their rewards, pretty much killing any reason to bother with the casino off the bat. For gambling, I typically stick to table games. Pai Gow is my jam. Walking the casino floor, they had a grand total of one Pai Gow table, every seat taken, yet to even be opened. Yet they had a dealer, cards, and tray ready to go. Talking to the lucky few at the table, they said they'd been waiting for an hour. Asking the dealer if they would open another table, I was told they didn't have enough dealers for it. Oh, and there's was zero indication of whether it was face up or face down Pai Gow. Trying to ask the two pit bosses in the area any questions was a losing battle, they kept their faces down and only addressed the immediate task in front of them. As an added bonus, most casinos put their Asian table games near the Asian style restaurants. This place puts them on nearly opposite sides of the casino. Continuing to walk the floor. I noticed six to eight tables dedicated to Pai Gow Tiles. Definitely a strange ratio of tiles to "normal" Pai Gow, opposite of AC and Vegas. Then, there's the 1/3 of the entire casino floor, not just tables area I mean entire floor, dedicated to Baccarat despite moderate at best player count. Going forward there were three Three Card Poker tables, only one of which was open and full. One Let It Ride which was closed. The rest were flavors of blackjack, craps, and roulette. Eventually, they opened another Three Card Poker table. I sat to play, only to have the shuffler start dealing out for a completely different game (criss cross). I resigned myself to playing Blackjack. Nearly the entire time I was just scratching my head trying to figure out why they were doing what they doing. Almost as if mgmt had never seen a real casino before. I would give just a single star, but the dealers were nice and friendly enough. The one bright spot of an otherwise sad visit.

We were served by Tracy clearly and expert (warm but not making herself the focus) with Brady in training and already up to speed. Some things I noticed. When food came out the whole kitchen came out and served everybody at once! How refreshing to see that. All servers were attentive and paying attention to the entire room. No one felt unnoticed and forgotten. The wonderful woman behind the desk at the entryway, took us on a tour of the event space with complete joy and enthusiasm. She didn't seem put out at all in fact I wanted to just hang out with her for a while. So welcoming. The second we walked in the door everyone said hello to us as if they had known us for years! We just moved here. We had never been there in our lives. The property is perfectly maintained, makes quite a statement, and the new converted barn was my dream barn. My only regret is that I didn't get to meet all the sheep on the property. If any guests come to visit us in our new home in French Town, we're going to recommend they stay there in one of the cottages possibly or the in itself so that they can have the ultimate comfort and the elegance. They would expect in an overnight that I fear, our guest room will not lend itself to. I want to get married again so I can get married there! I want to eat there once a week! Gratitude to my niece who we asked for a recommendation of where we should eat for a nice meal to celebrate my husband, after a big achievement. She has lived here for three years and as a trained nutritionist and chef herself. She said the only place you should go is the Woolverton Inn and its New Restaurant. She will be receiving a gift! Lastly, I was so overwhelmed upon entering the restored barn that I forgot the name of the elegant man who received us with such grace. He's a gracious host and constantly circulated the room keeping an eye on the flow with light personnel suggestions ( potato soup with lobster next time! I promise) and birthday wishes for a large families grandmother. Go, enjoy, stay there, eat there, bring friends there! Bon apetite!

Most people usually don't like to work out on vacations so hotels try to get away with putting 3 dumbbells and an elliptical in a room and claiming they offer a "gym" on their facilities. This place was much better than usual! I got a great workout in before the festivities There is also a nice indoor pool with a hot tub that my kids took full advantage of. They had a lot of fun with all the other kids at the hotel. Room was nice and spacious and there was a private balcony that led to the back of the cabin with a nice view of the woods. Only reason we didn't hit that 5 star was because of the weird layout. The rooms were at a different location from all the amenities so after we were done swimming, we kinda had to wrap up and walk in the freezing cold to the other area to reach our room. The bathroom was also kinda small Other than that, it was a great stay! The staff was super friendly and we were very comfortable.
