We have a home warranty with AHS, and Bye Door Installs was the selected service provider. The technician came out on Friday and instead of focusing on the problem, he criticized the builders, saying things like, "These builders just throw these houses together and they don't put the doors on correctly" and "You see where this light is coming in, they didn't do that right." He mentioned something about the tensions, ordering parts, and said he would return on Monday or Tuesday to fix it. Imagine my shock when we received an estimate from them through AHS of $8,723, claiming the door looked like it had been hit by a car, wasn't installed correctly, and needed to be replaced. I was flabbergasted. I called the company and spoke to someone who said they didn't understand how it could be that much and promised a technician would call me back. Of course, no one did. I tried calling several times yesterday and this morning, but no one answered. I called AHS and requested a second opinion, but they needed to find a new service provider, which would take another 48 hours. We found a local company yesterday that came out this morning. They tightened the spring, added a new coil, and completed the job in 20 minutes for $199. The only explanation for this discrepancy in price is that Bye Door Installs was trying to scam AHS and us as consumers. I'm sure they thought we would fall for anything because my car was trapped in the garage. I urge you not to use this company. If you are in the Auburn/Opelika area, I highly recommend Up Down Garage Door. Excellent service with integrity.

Needed 4 windows to match the existing 6 along the same wall in my living room. Salesman came right out, measured and KNEW they needed to match the existing. They arrived completely wrong the first time due to an order error, wrong manufacturer. So they corrected .. well, they arrived and did not match! Called the salesman (Mike) said he'd get back to me.. never did.. called the manager (Brad) completely rude and did not care about my concern at all, also said he'd look into it and get back to me.. never did. Wrote a letter to the owner (Henry) asked for a call.. never happened. I emailed the office asking for the owners email since I never received a call as I requested. The owner doesn't have the courtesy to call me back as requested and emails me back stating the issue was "resolved" as the manufacturer updates and changes the product. Well had ANYONE told me that prior to ordering I would have ordered all new or gone elsewhere. Mike was here and knew they needed to match... terrible service and overpriced windows. I suggest you also go elsewhere. Affordable windows and better customer service is out there, not at Window World.

Thermaguard Installed one large very expensive window ($1000+) for us in 2017. in 2019 the gas seal…read morebegan to leak causing the window to fog up. I contacted Bradley Moore, Thermaguard franchise owner, to have the problem addressed. I had no response to numerous emails, texts, etc over the years. He finally communicated with me in December 2025 and came out and looked at my window and assured me that he would help to handle the issue. I have emailed him and texted him since he came out in December and have had no response or resolution to my problem. I would highly recommend that you not do business with Bradley Moore. Obviously his attention to customer service is very lacking.

I have changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars, after speaking with Bret directly on the phone, who sincerely apologized for the bent window screens and said he'd make it right. I decided to give the company a second chance. I understood that it could be FedEx's fault, but as a paying customer the order should still be trusted to arrive in perfect condition. The SECOND order also arrived with all 3 window screens bent. I sent the photos to Bret. He gave me the option to have a 3rd order sent or have my money refunded. I chose to give it one last shot because Bret seemed very genuine in trying to make it right. The THIRD order finally arrived with all the 3 window screens in good condition. The window screens themselves were made well and they fit the way they're supposed to in my windows. Despite the good quality of the products and though Bret was kind, the process was too much of a hassle to say that I'd order from them again. (Previous Review: Don't order from this company! I had the same issue as the previous reviewer! I should've checked Yelp before ordering my custom window screens from this company. I paid 2 shipping charges, extra for oversized Fedex shipping and all 3 window screens were delivered bent. I've left several voicemails with the company and no one has called me back!
