He also explained why you'd install a shut off valve in front of the pressure tank (troubleshooting pressure). In any event, I'm changing my 2 star to a 5 based on that conversation. It was a good install, just overpriced, which we can work out later for a repipe project I need done. Thanks Joshua. The definition of greedy service folks taking advantage of a situation. I was losing pressure in the house and I'm on a well. The technician replaced the pressure pump (which needed to be replaced) and added a whole house filter at my request. The job went decent and the technician did a pretty good job on the installation. However, the price I paid for the equipment installation was extremely overpriced before I realized. Also, the problem with the pressure wasn't resolved. After the technician came back the next day to troubleshoot, he believed there was a leak somewhere losing pressure, which was a reasonable assumption given the symptoms (and I had another plumber come out and verify, but he actually found the real issue). The technician checked everywhere and couldn't find a leak and tried to schedule a sonar person to locate it. This didn't sit well with me so I called a well expert (Dutton should quit advertising well service). The other plumber that came out instantly noticed 2 things wrong with the pressure tank installation, the tank was over charged with pressure at 50 psi and needed to be set to 38 psi to work correctly (this exaggerated my problem) and he installed a shut off valve on the incoming water line from the well to the pressure tank, and if someone were to ever use it, the would blow up the well pump. The real problem is that the well pump is dying and while it has some pressure, it's not enough to fill the pressure tank fast enough to maintain running water at a faucet. This guy told me what the problem was FOR FREE. Dutton came back out to troubleshoot their work and tried to charge me another 400 (which they will never get from me) and they were going to charge me more to fix the non existent leak AFTER I paid the sonar people another 400. So, I now have someone coming out to replace the well pump. The guy that came out and told me the issue for free, is going to get 3000 to replace the iron filter and water softener after they are done. Dutton quoted me FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS to replace just the iron filter. There are other companies who aren't just in it for the money. Call them.

I would strongly advise against using Trojan Roofing. The…read moreseller of my home chose them to replace the roof before I moved in, so I didn't have a say in the company. Unfortunately, that decision has caused me nothing but problems. Last year, I experienced roof leaks that led to damage inside my home. What followed was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. It took multiple emails to Tyler Morgan and numerous phone calls with different employees just to get someone to come out. The first person they sent told me there was nothing wrong with my roof and that they don't cover interior damage. After reviewing my roofing warranty, I found that statement to be completely false. After reaching out again, they finally sent a second contractor. He was great, seemed knowledgeable, and "fixed" both the roof and the interior damage. I felt relieved at the time--but that didn't last. Now, I'm dealing with water damage again in the exact same spot, plus a new area nearby. I first reached out to Tyler on March 16 and have since sent four additional emails with zero response. I also called on March 19 and spoke with a receptionist who assured me someone would come out the next day to take photos. No one showed up, and no one followed up. Since then, I've called over 20 times and have gotten absolutely nowhere. At this point, the lack of communication is unacceptable. The customer service is the worst I've experienced. It genuinely feels like they are avoiding me to get out of honoring their warranty and paying for the damage. My warranty expires in September. I will be getting this resolved one way or another, and if I don't hear back by next week, I will be pursuing legal action. Save yourself the headache and go with a company that actually stands behind their work.

I was shocked and initially unhappy about this but realized it was not a conflict and they proceeded. Two workers spent the next 6 hours meticulously cleaning up the mulch beds, edging and carving out the beds and removing all the debris. They even removed large branches I had piled up from recent storms which I mentioned was on me to remove but they did so without even mentioning it. Watching them work, they both were very meticulous about their work and reached out to me throughout the day to inspect and critique their work thus far. I couldn't have been more pleased with every facet of their work. They took great pride in their work, went way beyond my expectations, which were high and even went to retrieve more mulch to ensure they covered everything 3-4 inches deep and ensured it was laid evenly. Afterwards, I just had to stand back and admire their work. It was first class from beginning to end. They even edged out and mulched along areas aligning several decorative stone walls to make mowing the grass much easier and enhance the appearance. Absolutely the best. This crew was professional, considerate, and extremely experienced in knowing how mulch should be laid and presented when completed. Price was fair and commensurate with their performance. Would and will use them again. Have recommended them now several times to others who experienced the same results as we did.
