I've ordered my gear through divers-supply since 2007 and will always do so. After thorough research I could find no one that would match the prices for their scuba packages. They ship as quickly as possibly and have the best prices around. That's not to say I haven't had some issues. I have received damaged equipment and I have had items that took awhile to ship. However, in every case the customer service was all I could ask for. They immediately replaced my damaged regulator and sent me a box to return the old one in and when my order couldn't be filled they sent me a better model free of charge immediately. I wish I could give a O star for this establishment. A very terrible customer service and a horrible place to shop. Let me tell you of my personal story with this establishment. I ordered my Scuba diving supply more than a week ago because I have to go to the ocean on the weekend as part of my Scuba diving class. After I placed an order, I received a confirmation email and sure enough it was missing my gloves so I called back to make sure that they put the gloves on it. When I was on the phone, the customer service rep couldn't find me on the system so I asked her to see if she can search me through any way possible. The respond I get was "I can't help you unless you have an order number" with an attitude. I was like "fine, I'll call back." When I called back with an order number, another guy sounded like a D-bag because I added an item on an existing order (that should have been there in the first place) and paid for it (not that I was getting for FREE). Hey, I let that go because whatever sometime people just have a bad day. So 2 days later, I received another email saying that a couple of my items are not in stock and that they will offer me an upgrade w/no charge for replacement items that are in stock. I replied right away with my replacement items and also TOLD them that I really need this ASAP. This was already 4 days in already and I also told them to upgrade the shipping for me so it can be here on time in the replied email. I call back today to make sure the stuff are sent. The rep told me yeah it was sent but by regular mail and that I won't have my items until next week. REALLLY????? after all of that...How am I supposed to go to the ocean w/o gloves, mask, fins, snorkel, and boots?? I don't care if you were sorry for me but it was an inconvienence on your end after many of my attempts to let you know that this is urgent to me. I know this is the LAST time I will be dealing with this vendor. I hope many of you will not suffer from what I have to go through... I have to share a wonderful story about the folks at Diver's Supply. I recently ordered a dive watch online. I was a bit surprised to receive an email the following day indicating that the watch was on backorder (with no ETA offered) after first hearing that it was in stock. Additionally, I realized that my credit card had been charged upon my purchase. Soon thereafter, I received an email from Diver's Supply in which I was told that the original watch had not passed Diver's QC. They then had the manufacturer ship the watch to me directly. It arrived within 2 days. This is the kind of customer service and attention to detail that impresses me and makes me want to be loyal to Diver's Supply for future purchases. I ordered online from this company not realizing that the didn't pay the return shipping. Between paying shipping to me and shipping back my return, shipping ended up costing me almost as much as the item itself. They need to make it clear that return shipping is not covered when you make your order (since it is on most online stores I've used), instead of having it in small print on the FAQ page. Anyone can have a bad day but when you have four bad experiences that jeapordize planned dives....enough is enough. First bad experience...I turn in two sets of gear and am given a date to pick everything up. I show up three days after the given date and nothing has been touched!! I am told they will knock it out the next day and I ask them to take their time and I will pick it up in a few days before going on a planned trip but they insisted it will be done and done right. Second bad experience, I call the next day and guess what...still working on it. They rushed to get the job done and had attitude when I got there. I take the gear in the water and the set they were rushing to get done is leaking at the primary and secondary...minor leaks but still...when I take it back I get the ohhh well you must have gotten sand in it...I explained I took it out of the bag, put it on a elevated set up station and directly into the water and immediatley got the "Well I have given my opinion!" from the blonde female. After more bad treatment and her stopping her business with another customer and butting into a conversation across the store while I was dealing with another worker and me having to ask her to stay out of the conversation they took my gear back and adjusted it. Found no sand in the system and worked like a champ the next few dives a few weekends later. Third bad experience...then I take some tanks to get filled..told I can pick them up the following wednesday. I drive the 30 mins to the store and three were filled and they couldnt located the 4th. After a search they found it in the training area with half a tank fill telling me it was used by their staff for training. I had turned it in near empty. What should have been a grab and go turned into a hour long ordeal...Fourth bad experience...so I joined the club member program and wanted to enroll my kids into discover scuba (membership comes with "FREE discover scuba lessons for your non-diving friends.") When I ask them about the free discover scuba they told me they dont offer that and when I showed them the pamplet in their store I get from the counter "That's Fu**ing stupid!" and "Well I guess we have to honor this" Let me tell you...some of the staff there is TERRIBLE!! This is a quick way to destroy a business and the ownership needs to take a close look at who they are hiring and weed out the bad seeds in the business. I will say the ownership who helped me out with the gear not being done on time for the weekend was engaged and willing to do what it takes but the staff following up on their direction unsupervised was unhappy about it and unfriendly!!! I dont like to complain without specifics and after 4 bad experiences I had enough of it and here I type. Owners...if you want to get ahold of me feel free and I will tell you exactly who is destroying your business. In the mean time I will buy elsewhere and let the free market take my dollars to another business. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I went to this store for the first time today and will never go back again! Every Spare Air canister they have there is at least 2 months out of date, overdue for visual inpection. Luckily we checked it before spending $250 on an expired product and worse yet, endangering our lives! When brought to the owners attention he made absolutely no effort to remedy the situation at all. He became combative and I'm cerain that those tanks went right back on the shelf. Who knows how many other products he has on the shelf that are out of date and dangerous?? Stay away from this store if you want quality products and to be safe! read more

Stay away from this lot!!!!! Four weeks ago I ordered scuba gear for an upcoming trip, and I am still waiting for it, two days out from the trip!!!! I have every email they sent and I certainly didn't receive anything telling me some of my items were not in stock, one of the excuses I was given - in hindsight I think this is just a strategy to use when things go wrong. Apparently my gear was originally being shipped in two lots, which then turned into three, latest email says four. I cannot track the orders regardless of what Divers Supply say, and apparently, one parcel is still in the States. I had to call three times today before I could get anyone to talk to me, and then I received no empathy at all. There was nothing they could do. A considerable amount of money has been taken from my bank account, and four weeks later I have nothing to show for it. I am considering taking this up firstly with my bank, then with the Consumer Protection Department of Georgia. I am not happy. You have been warned!!!!! read more

Just contacted this shop and the customer service is horrible. My wife purchased two BCD and was charged for them; yet they were never shipped, nor were we contacted about our order. When I called today salesman Jonathan stated" the price was wrong and they will not honor it". I wanted to know why I was charged and was not contacted about the issue, they said they did by email. I asked to have a copy of this email and never received it. The manager a lady got on the phone said my bank account was credited on Sunday and that the email was resent. No refund as of yet bank has nothing from them and like I said no email to support the claim they made.This shop wanted to sell the BCD at a higher cost than others online. I placed an order with Diver's Supply two months ago. I didn't receive my order and placed a call to them. I was told that the item had been put on backorder. They asked if I still wanted the item. I still did, but it would have been nice if they could have let me know. So, now it is another month later, two months in and still no shoes or word. I looked on the website and you could still buy them off of the website. I called and spoke to a nice enough man who told me that the shoes were discontinued. Nobody bothered to contact me about this. He also said that the website still having them in stock must have been an oversight. Then, he asked if I would like something else or my money back. I ordered these shoes to worn for a specific event a long time ago. I didn't get upset the first time they didn't contact me. Now, I would hope they would do something to keep my business or prevent word of mouth about this. I am very disappointed and clearly would not order from this store again. If you do buy from them, make sure you stay in contact with them because they will not with you. read more
