In the interest of being thorough I have to say the place needs some updating. It seemed a bit like a cave in there, but I guess it doesn't really matter. Maybe I am little fancy pants but I think you can kinda dress it up a little. I hope to update this review.

His son has taken over and the way he conducts business is way different than his father. He offered me a $1000.00 dollars for the ring. i said may i ask you a question? He said thats my offer take it or leave it. I said no thanks. I said the spot price for gold today is $4150.00 a ounce. He said we have to make money to. $3150.00 is a big difference and should be ashamed to offer such a low amount when clearly he knows what its worth. Terrible experience. My dear friend Leonard Parks always spoke highly of Howard. Maybe his son should follow him and have some hospitality. Lost this customer for good.

The guys are friendly and down-to-Earth ppl. I have been in as a buyer and as a seller and was…read moretreated very fairly each time. The Pawn business gets a bad name from bad owners and the inherent thought that one is getting "ripped off" in there. You always have to keep in mind, they are buying to resell the item. So, of course you're not going to get it's "worth". You're getting a percentage of it's "worth" then it still has to be sold again to someone else for profit. If ppl can't understand that basic premise they have no business being in there. Good place to look for discount items and sell old things just lying around. If you need quick cash, bring your collateral property and y'all work it out

Hands down, this was the absolute best experience I have ever had with Sleep Number…read more Chris P. is an outstanding salesman and was incredibly helpful in setting up a bed for my mother. Honestly, he is more than a salesman -- he is an exceptional man who genuinely cares about his clientele. I initiated the transaction from out of state and my mother later followed up with an in-person visit. I am extremely meticulous and demanding when it comes to my family's needs and Chris made sure my mother was matched with the right bed for her specific situation. He gave me his word that he would take good care of her and yes..he delivered. She spent at least two hours with him trying various mattresses and there was no pressure, no upselling, and no gimmicky sales tactics. He also ensured that she got the best pricing and incentives for her bed. Again, he took excellent care of my mother and I cannot say enough good things about him! If you are in the market for a great mattress and expect exceptional service, this is the place to go.

Took it to Mark's expecting it to take a week or so before he could get to it. 2-3 days later, I get a call from them to come pick the mower up. I was worried that it was beyond anything he could do but I was relieved to hear it runs like a champ. They even helped load it into the back of my Blazer. Second time I used Mark's, we bought a generator and it would not turn over. Changed that gas as well and it made no difference. So off to Mark's it went. Again, I was expecting it to not be ready for a week at least. Imagine my surprise when the next day, I get a call to come get my generator. It runs like it's never had a problem. What really made me the happy camper was the price for the work. I was expecting to spend at least $100 for the mower and the same for the generator. The price for repairs came in well under that mark and around that for both jobs. I have recommended Mark's to friends of mine and I have another mower for them to take a look at. He's my new small engine guy and I have no problem recommending him to my friends and family.
