I really wish this review could be different that it's about to be, but it isn't…read more I had an appointment scheduled with Jennifer; which I had to cancel. I followed the directions in the e-mail to do this; left a message at the salon and then went about my day. I then received some texts messages from Jennifer stating she would be charging me for my entire appointment as I didn't follow her specific cancellation policies. I understand cancellations are a pain, so I offered to pay the fee that was in the e-mail. In return, Jennifer basically threatened to slander my name around town to other hairstylists. She also continued with processing the charge, which I am now disputing with my bank. It'd be helpful to have cancellation policies very specifically spelled out for customers, and to understand that emergencies do happen. Just to update this review; I agreed to remove my negative reviews from various sites upon proof that the refund had been initiated. I was informed that my money would only be returned after deleting the reviews. Additionally, I have not received a receipt or charge breakdown of thosef charges placed on my card. Further update; the bank sided with me on this, and my money has been returned. Unfortunately, Jennifer is now out any money, lost a customer, and received a bad review when this could have all be resolved without any of this, if the policy in the email was followed.

I decided to try her out and I have no complaints! She thoroughly went over my hair history which I had never been asked before in other coloring sessions by other stylists which was important so we could make a plan for lightening my hair. At first I thought I would leave with blonde balayage but with her additional education on how important it is to do coloring in multiple sessions especially since I'm a brunette I came to my senses.
