I locked in my surgery. Yes everything was going good. Surgery went well. Or so I thought. The madness started soon after. To put in simple terms. I had an arm lift, an upper back lift and a crescent thigh lift. This crescent thigh lift is where the incision is in the groin and not down the leg. I went back for 2 postop . Still so sore and swollen. I flew home the day of 2nd postop. That day I gave the staff a form from my job for the doctor to sign. FMLA do not cover that type of surgery. I guess only if it was extreme weight loss. They gave me a letter stating they don't outside forms. They said give it to my employer and if they have questions to call them. News flash. It was not accepted by my employer. I work with the state. They refused to let me back on schedule with the letter. I called and begged the doctor's staff to sign the form with no luck. The staff told me they won't be able to respond to me till Monday. This was on a Friday. Now mind you. Before I paid for the surgery. They would email me even on a Saturday. Anyways I got my own doctor to get me back to work. I had a 3rd virtual post op when I came home. Now the swelling was down . I pointed that out to Dr Ziyad . He mentioned we will eventually talk about a revision for my thighs. I was told to send my 1 month updated photos. The incisions on my thighs are so uneven. You can clearly see it over my panty line. The incision my arm is also uneven. I am so upset and frustrated. After being $surgery + airfare + recovery home in a minus. I've sent the photos since last week. Sent another email on Monday. Asking them how would we proceed to have a revision, I have been calling. No response either way. I am so disappointed in Dr Ziyad and Sunset plastic surgery. This was the worst decision I've made and the worst experience I've had after surgery. I'm simply sharing my horror story with this doc and his staff. Is this how you treat you patients????

La primera cotización fue de $8,000, pero al final terminamos pagando más de $12,000. Primero cambiamos de doctor y por eso aumentaron $1,000 al precio porque es mejor. Luego nos dijeron que el J-Plasma no estaba incluido y eran $1,000 más. Después informaron que el BBL no incluía el ultrasonido de grasa y que eso también costaba $1,000 adicionales. Tampoco incluyen la faja (la venden por $145 y es de mala calidad; compré una de mejor calidad por $75). El sostén postquirúrgico tampoco está incluido y cuesta $70 más, también de mala calidad. Una vez que pagas y te operan, el trato cambia completamente. El personal se vuelve prepotente y no explican bien las cosas. En el primer masaje postoperatorio, que cuesta $100, la sesión fue de solo media hora. Durante ese masaje a mi esposa se le bajó la presión y nunca me avisaron ni me dieron una explicación clara de lo que ocurrió. Eso es muy preocupante. Para el segundo masaje, le indicaron que fuera a las 7:00 am. Llegamos puntuales y nos informaron que no estaba en la agenda. Una trabajadora llamada Marien olvidó agendar la cita y Nathaly tampoco la había programado correctamente. Nos dijeron que tal vez podían hacerle un espacio a las 2:00 pm y que esperáramos. Intenté hablar con la doctora y me dejaron esperando más de 40 minutos sin respuesta. Fue completamente desorganizado. Después de que no la atendieron en el segundo masaje, busqué masajes postoperatorios por fuera y encontré un lugar que cobra $70 por una hora completa (no media hora como aquí), es decir $30 menos por sesión y con mejor atención. Ya han pasado 4 días desde la cirugía y nadie se ha comunicado para hacer seguimiento o preguntar cómo está evolucionando. En resumen, la experiencia fue muy decepcionante. Hubo muchos costos adicionales que no se explicaron claramente desde el inicio, mala organización y falta de seguimiento después de la cirugía. No recomiendo esta clínica.
