I've shared my concerns about this studio multiple times with both the front desk and the…read moreinstructor, but nothing has been resolved. The classes are advertised as 25 minutes, yet they consistently end early. The final straw was when I looked up from the lobby and saw my toddler..who isn't even three years old..walking out of class alone, completely unsupervised. She could have easily made her way out the main doors. I understand accidents can happen, but this is simply unacceptable. As a mother, I know you would understand the seriousness of a child's safety. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this studio due to the lack of supervision and accountability. I waited to get an Apology but instead the instructor Michelle emailed back with no remorse or apology and simply tried to say she handed me my daughter but she did not and Tara at the front desk saw the whole thing and have yet even emailed back with an acknowledgment/ apology. Someone else mentioned she displayed implicit bias and I can agree with that.

This dance studio is the greatest school for serious and casual dancers. All of the instructors…read morehave been so great with my daughter. She has gained a strong level of confidence that she did not have before starting classes here. I look forward to many more years.

My 3 year old daughter is currently enrolled in the one hour weekly tap/ballet class for 3-5 year…read moreolds. We first came to this location for music classes through Tunebugz, and now we are coming for dance. Upon beginning dance, my daughter was a little apprehensive and she vascillated between loving dance one week and hating out the next. This was primarily attributed to her being a sometimes shy 3 year old. Over time, with the help of her instructors, she has grown to love coming. The instructors are both skilled and upbeat. The kids love them. They pace the class well and it appears that they have good class structure/thought out lesson plan. Looking in at other older classes, there seems to be some truly skilled dancers here. The studio is very clean and nicely updated. We pay just over $80 per month for my daughter. The lady that runs the front desk is super sweet and incredibly helpful when you have questions. All of the older girls that dance there seem to be very polite and none of them run over the little ones when things get busy in the hall after class. They all seem to watch out for the littles. The parking is sufficient and they have lockers for some of the older girls. That said, there are just a couple of small things to be aware of, if you choose this class. The particular dance studio that they use for this specific class is in the middle of their facility where there is just not much seating and the hall narrows. Since these are the youngest dancers, many parents want to be near the window and/or door. Many of us sit on the floor in the hall and its tight for all of the people that do. Personally, I enjoy watching, but more importantly I want to keep an eye on the door for safety reasons (my child is 3 and if she leaves the room to come get me to potty, I don't even want to chance her heading the wrong direction when there are 2 exterior doors or worse, her being intercepted by the wrong person. I tend to be extra cautious, so this may not bother some parents. If you sit in the lobby, there are plenty of seats, but you can't see that studio's door from most of them. They should probably consider switching studios for the youngest dancers and put the older kids in the center studios. The only other thing to be aware of is that the center can get pretty warm. The front has a lot of windows and, being Texas, the Sun can really blast them. So dress appropriately if the weather is hot and sunny. Overall, we really like this place and would certainly recommend this center.

The studio is well organized, and they maintain a culture of supportiveness, encouragement, inclusion and kindness, which is so important for youngsters when learning how to do anything but especially any performance art. Many of the teachers are former or current students, and several are current or former members of the UT Pom squad. We love this place!

We LOVEEEE TGL Boerne! What a great way for little ones to burn off all the energy by running,…read morejumping and hanging off things for 45 mins! Oh! Don't want to forget about playing with the bubbles! Our little one started off as a little bug and now is in the Beasts class and looks forward to it every week! So many new skills are being learned and absorbed all the time, to the point that she now likes to hang off the dining room table as if it's a hanging bar haha!! and she also climbs the sofa as if it's a balance beam! All this is definitely been absorbed with taking TLG classes, so she does get the confidence boost from going there for sure! This is also a nice way to meet other parents in the same age range as you're going to the same classes. Do yourself a favor, if you have a little one at home and nearby the surrounding area of Boerne, take them here and you won't regret it! The staff here are oh so friendly and will take the time to get to know you and your little ones! Parking: shared with other businesses, but still really easy to find!

Our little baby started around 7/8 months old and has grown so much! She loves learning new skills, crawling around, singing with friends and playing with bubbles! They make it so easy with their communication and if we have to miss a week we can easily make up the class. As a mom, it's also nice to meet other parents with babies around the same age as your own. It becomes like a little gym family. Thank you Little Gym!
