The classes are advertised as 25 minutes, yet they consistently end early. The final straw was when I looked up from the lobby and saw my toddler..who isn't even three years old..walking out of class alone, completely unsupervised. She could have easily made her way out the main doors. I understand accidents can happen, but this is simply unacceptable. As a mother, I know you would understand the seriousness of a child's safety. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this studio due to the lack of supervision and accountability. I waited to get an Apology but instead the instructor Michelle emailed back with no remorse or apology and simply tried to say she handed me my daughter but she did not and Tara at the front desk saw the whole thing and have yet even emailed back with an acknowledgment/ apology. Someone else mentioned she displayed implicit bias and I can agree with that.

She cannot keep teachers because she overrides their decisions constantly and she tells them to do things with the students that do not meet the criteria or technique they have been trained to do in college or with a dance company. If you want the best training, make the trip to San Antonio or Austin instead.

They believe in building a positive self-image in their dancers, along with dance skills. My kids have been there for 6 years and we are very happy with the studio! Unfortunately, some of the negative comments were left by people that joined the competition team. The team is required to sign a contract, not recreational dancers. I have never had a problem with the financial obligations or the quality of the lessons. Heck, they even break up the recital costumes and fees into 3 payments to make it easier for parents!
