Communication with them was very thorough and detailed while we were calling or emailing back and forth prior to the party, and then on the day-of, Ralph and another guy came right on time and somehow set up all the food trays (including burners, large coffee dispenser, utensils and plates, etc) in my small kitchen in a matter of minutes. They were extremely efficient and courteous, and the display looked lovely and fit for a nice brunch celebration. Now on to the food itself - it was DELICIOUS. I was expecting just normal brunch food, but they went above and beyond. The eggs had nice seasoning with scallions on top, there was an array of 8 different kinds of breakfast sandwiches/wraps with matching salsas and sauces, the french toast had really nice and unique fruit on it complete with syrup on the side, the sausage was perfectly done, as were the potatoes. Every single one of my guests was complimenting the food. Everything was complete including a fruit platter, pastry platter, coffee/juice, utensils/plates/cups, etc. We ate a lot, and still had so much leftover. These guys are pros. I was thrilled with them as they made my party very special, and am now looking for an excuse to throw another large party so I can use them and have their delicious food again :)

We love not wasting food! With our budget, we were thinking we could only get a decent caterer, but we lucked out with LDV. They are without a doubt one of the best in the business! They catered to our needs and even made suggestions on how to reduce cost. In our case we brought our own drinks for their bartender to serve, which helped reduce cost. The wife and I walked into Villa Russo to meet with KIM in March of 2025. The wife and I had a vision for the theme of the party. Well let me tell you, Kim had samples AND PICTURES of those samples at ACTUAL events. These things made the decision making so much easier because you did not have to visualize anything. It was already there in pictures. To say that Kim led us by the hand and showed us the way is truly an understatement. We believe she went above and beyond what was necessary. We were a little nervous planning a big event like this. Having Kim alongside us every step of the way was such a relief. Whenever my wife had a question about the event, Kim had an answer. THIS WOMAN KNOWS HER BUSINESS!!! When we arrived for our event, we had Justin who was running the room and Riswan who was assisting him. At bartender, we had the sweetest young lady by the name of Minerva. Minerva knew everything as far as what attendees wanted to drink. She was very quick and sweet. Justin is a superstar. He communicated with me about everything and with the help of our DJay Roger, helped move the party along smoothly. Then you have Riswan. There was nothing he would not do for my family and friends. Upon arriving at Villa Russo, guests were welcomed by an antipasto platter. Super delicious and super gone quickly. Food is the perfect ice breaker. For our salad we chose the Caesar salad. The pasta course was rigatoni a la vodka. A BIG HIT with the guests. For entrees, our guests chose from Shell steak, salmon, chicken francese or eggplant rolatini. Everybody raved about the food and especially the service. If any of our guests needed anything, Justin and Riswan were super quick to respond. The truth is there is not enough space for words to really say how grateful we are to everyone at Villa Russo. From Kim literally taking us by the hand and making our vision a reality. to Justin, Riswan, Minerva and Roger, our Djay, Villa Russo AGAIN, DELIVERED a most memorable night for us all. EVERYONE felt welcomed and had a superb time. The food was fabulous. The ambience was perfect. The night, the most memorable we've had. Thank you so much to everyone at Villa Russo for making our night one to remember. We are truly grateful.

1 Star -- Extremely Disappointing and Dangerous Experience…read more This was my first time ordering from Top Tier Catering, and unfortunately, it will likely be my last. I ordered through Uber Eats, but before placing my order, I went above and beyond to make sure I could safely eat the food. I actually called the restaurant beforehand and specifically asked about my sesame allergy. I was told that the wings I was interested in contained sesame seeds, but that if I made note of my allergy, the kitchen would follow those instructions. Fast-forward to my order arriving about 40 minutes later -- and after spending $55 -- I discovered that two of my four items had sesame seeds all over them. And when I say all over them, I mean whoever prepared the food went absolutely crazy with the sesame seeds. There were even sesame seeds inside the container with the pork chops and in one of my containers of collard greens. I cannot explain how frustrating and upsetting this was, especially because I took the time to call the restaurant BEFORE ordering specifically to discuss my allergy. I also listed my sesame allergy multiple times when placing the order through Uber Eats. To make matters worse, the receipt attached to the bag clearly listed my allergies -- not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR times under the individual meals. There was even a large section on the receipt clearly marked "ALLERGIES." At that point, I genuinely had to question whether the kitchen staff simply didn't read the order or were being negligent. This isn't a preference or a request to leave off an ingredient that I don't like. This is a food allergy that I specifically disclosed multiple times. Cross-contamination and failure to follow allergy instructions can have serious consequences. I immediately tried to resolve the issue. Since I ordered through Uber Eats, I had to submit a claim through the app, as there isn't an easy way to speak directly with a live person. So now I have to wait and see whether Uber will actually refund me. I also called the restaurant directly. A man answered the phone and told me to hold. I waited on hold for approximately eight minutes before eventually hanging up. I called back several times afterward, and the phone began going straight to voicemail. And before anyone says I should have simply brought the food back: I live more than 20 minutes away, which is exactly why I ordered through Uber Eats. I made several attempts to contact the establishment and give them an opportunity to address this directly before posting this review, but unfortunately, I was unable to reach anyone. I am extremely disappointed. When a customer clearly discloses a serious food allergy before ordering, in the order notes, and on the receipt, the expectation should be that those instructions are taken seriously. This was not a minor mistake -- it was a major failure in handling an explicitly stated allergy. I hope the restaurant takes this situation seriously and reviews how allergy orders are communicated and prepared in the kitchen. I understand accidents happen, but this should not have happened. You literally have to read the order to prepare the food so how did you miss sesame allergy on a receipt paper more than four times I will never understand!

We were searching for a caterer for our special event and I…read morecame across Adrii's Kitchen. What really piqued my interest was Chef Adrii's background, she's Guyanese and Puerto Rican. My partner's family is Guyanese as well. I was so thrilled to try her food that I reached out to see if she could do a sample tasting for us. I was ecstatic when she obliged. I wanted the tasting to be enough for two people. We decided to try the Chopped Cheese Empanada, Spinach & Cheese Empanada, Baked Chicken, Mild Shrimp Rasta Pasta, and Fried Whiting. We were charged $40 + tax + delivery fee. We ended up spending $49.52 which could be considered the price you pay for takeout. Nonetheless we were counting down the days until the food was delivered. Chef Adrii called to let me know that the store ran out of whiting so she suggested flounder because it had a similar texture. The packaging of our order was nice and it was adorned with flowers. I couldn't wait to try the food because everything looked and smelled good. We started off with the chopped cheese empanada which we couldn't taste the filling just the Turkey bacon. Maybe if the Turkey bacon was chopped smaller and there was more of a Bbq flavor incorporated into the ground Turkey we would've been able to taste the filling. The upside was that the empanada was crunchy which we liked. The spinach empanada was pretty tasty. The spinach was sautéed perfectly, but the empanada itself was on the oily side. We tried the baked chicken which was lackluster in taste. It was on the drier side and could've used more seasoning. We asked for mild Shrimp Rasta pasta, but it was extremely spicy. We both enjoy spicy food, but my hunny definitely has a better tolerance than I do. He even commented on how spicy it was. The shrimp was overcooked. We weren't thrilled with the fried founder. It was flaky and didn't have the same texture as fried whiting. Also I'm not a fan of citrusy flavors. The fish was too lemony for my liking. If I would've known she used lemon in her recipe I wouldn't have agreed to the fried flounder. Overall, I would have given this place a second chance under different circumstances. It's unfortunately we won't be able to.
