Was recommended to come here for lunch. It wasn't busy. I walked in and ordered food which was ready in 15 mins. I ordered a fried chicken Caesar wrap and Cajun fries. Overall, the meal was good. My wrap was a tad bit dry but did not lack flavor. I should have ordered a side of sauce. The fries were great; shoestring fries. For the whole Combe it was less than $17. I would go back and try something else.

This review is long overdue. So long overdue that I can't even remember what was wrong that I couldn't order a shake, and that's the only reason I stopped by. Since I wasn't able to try a shake, I settled for an order of Cajun fries so it wouldn't be a wasted trip. The fries were definitely good but not great. I'll give a solid 3 stars until I can return and try more items.

Smashed Burger

The food was good. It was clean, the service was good, price too high. The milkshake was good but unlike the picture you only get a drop of strawberry syrup

Honey Siracha Chicken wrap

I ordered the crispy honey siracha wrap (can also get it grilled) with tomato tortilla (you can choose that, white or wheat) and the Mac and cheese bites. He made my order a combo and I got a drink. I was told I could choose fountain or can, I opted for fountain. They have Pepsi products. My total came to $20.00. This place is small but cute inside with a lot of Detroit themes on the wall. You can eat in or take your food to go, they even had connect four and cards sitting out for people to play with. Everything seems to be made fresh and I was told my food would be ready in 12 minutes...it was (actually may have been less than that). I've been seeing this place when driving around the area and when I pulled up their website EVERYTHING looks amazing. I definitely want to work my way through the menu! I really wanted to try a shake but opted to be healthy (lmao) so will save that for next time! I've never had Mac and cheese bites and these were good, very crispy and cheesy with a creamy texture and good flavor. I thought they would be like a cheese stick but they decidedly are not. My wrap was good, the siracha for sure was present, very spicy! Almost too spicy for me. I think they may have burned my chicken because there was a distinctive charred taste in there that was off putting but overall the wrap was still pretty tasty. I dipped it in the ranch and that took it over the top in the best way. I wouldn't get the siracha honey again but they have a ton of other items and wraps that I would like to try.

Butterfinger Shake

There are a lot of specialty burger joints around metro Detroit as we all know and this is another one on par with those... -Prices are hefty... Burger, Shake and Fries was $20. -I had a BBQ Burger... it was cool, I like my burger closer to medium, my burger was closer to well done but I could tell the guys there took pride in making everything. My Butterfinger shake was pretty good too... I think the taste of the shakes are up there with the best ones out there. A customer came in and bought just a strawberry shake while I was there. The Cajun fries were cool... I'd go with regular fries instead... they're a McDonalds type of fry and we all love McDonald's fries. - A perk is they do not skimp on the food. A "small" fry was literally a basket of fries, you and a friend can definitely share the small. There was enough shake for your buck too. Check it out if you're in the area or you live around the area, it's kinda off the beaten path and hidden in a strip mall by a gas station.

Great burgers, wraps and chicken sandwiches. My family ordered a weird bunch of day and it was no problem not putting on items even down to one kid who wanted a beef patty with cheese and nothing else! Very friendly order taker and busy chef. The place was clean and brightly lit from the big eastern facing windows.

Stopped here for lunch and it was all excellent! Definitely a splurge meal calorie wise but…read moreexcellent! I went with the Crispy Cancun sandwich (fried chicken, chipotle aioli, pickles and roasted corn topped with cilantro on a challah bun) and the garlic parm fries. Everything was really good. The fries were doused in a lot of sauce and even a bit of garlic butter but miraculously they didn't get soggy. The sandwich was juicy and crispy and the bun and toppings went with it all perfectly. I went with the mild flavor as I can't do much spice these days and it was perfectly seasoned. I also went with one of their slushes, the apricot mango, and I LOVED it. I'd come back for that alone! Price is a bit on the higher side for fast casual, it was around $30 for all of it, but it was delicious and prices are going up everywhere these days so I get it and don't knock them for it. But it's worth mentioning if you're reading this and on a bit of a budget. That said, they do have some combos and items that could make it much more cost effective. And coming with friends will make it all easily splittable as the portions are generous.

A couple of my team members and I stopped by to grab an ultimate chicken wrap, crispy chicken and the turkey Cubano with seasoned fries a while ago. Their wrap and sandwiches all have an interesting and unique twist. Quite intriguing for sure. Next time I do want to try out their grilled cheese sandwiches. The corn with butter is good. The other loaded is over the top for me.

The line of DoorDashers coming and going was my first clue, but once I tried the food, I totally got it. The inside is clean and modern with a friendly, fast-moving staff who clearly take pride in what they do. The Flame Sub itself is a masterpiece--crispy bread with the perfect chew, packed with flavor in every bite. Their rice bowls? So satisfying. The kind of meal that hits that sweet spot between comfort and freshness. And don't even get me started on the Dubai Brownie--rich, gooey, and absolutely addictive. Flame Subs is one of those spots you can count on for a quick lunch or a chill dinner that actually delivers. Big flavor, great energy, and a menu that keeps you coming back for more.

I think of this as a zippy sandwich stop, easy to pop in and pick up or sit down. The subs are delicious, and super satisfying. Great flavor, fresh, crispy vegetables, perfect sauce pairings from creamy to tangy to spicy. The best part: a toasted sesame bun. Sub-sational! The curly fries were also great- hot, lightly spiced, crispy and chewy. Housemade ranch gets extra credit from me, always. Service was friendly and they brought out plastic gloves in case you don't want to get your hands dirty eating! Gender neutral bathroom. Just a good spot, and nice to have one this close- the other good sandwich shops take you further down the chaos of Ford Road into the heights. Happy they're here!

I had the Hot Chicken Wrap with their choice of tortilla (Tomato Basil). The flavor was pretty good. Their chicken is in a sauce rather than fried and dipped in a flavored batter. It was a bit messy but a pretty decent tasting wrap. He served our meal to the table and then helped us by making sure we had napkins by getting them for us.

You can also tell based off their website their pictures are real and the food that sits before you looks exactly like the website. We had ordered fries but the owner suggested we try it all (mac n cheese bites, moz sticks) no extra cost to get a feel for more of his menu. i am unsure if he makes his wing sauces from scratch but wow are they delicious!? i am not a honey mustard girl but his is the best i've had, i kept dipping my fries in that! Mac n chz bites were ok, moz sticks were good, but the french fries were amazing. crispy! My boyfriend got a burger, which was huge and very tasty, myself i got a chicken bacon wrap which was far from disappointing. so many toppings, grilled crispy on the outside with great flavors. we left here beyond full. what i can appreciate as well, they have pepsi fountain products but know how some people prefer coke; so they sell sprite and coke cans if pepsi isn't your thing; which is very cool and shows awareness he wants you to enjoy what you prefer with the meals they offer. i did not have any room for a milkshake but those looks excellent of course. i don't live close to this place but next time i crave a wrap i will be stopping by again. Thanks for the hospitality and great food!
