I have an interlock that needs monthly servicing. I would call and call to get something set up and I barely would get through. So with that being said. I had to change my service center to another location to True auto sales and service and only charged me $26 dollars for a recalibration when Distinctive would charge $51 and I had a better experience there at true auto. I've been going to Robert for two years for the unfortunate required install, monthly calibration and finally, deinstall of my interlock device on my truck. Can't speak highly enough about Robert! He's always very quick, polite and takes appointments in the order they were scheduled. He'd help me out when I had an issue and couldn't make my scheduled appt. or when my battery died and he'd replace it same day. Highly recommend! Thanks a ton Robert!! Absolutely trash, very rude. My wife needed his equipment installed in her vehicle and as soon as the equipment was installed her engine light came on due to the battery being drained. I personally spoke with this gentleman several times about this issue and he stated it wasn't the equipment it was the car ! After reassuring us prior to installing the equipment that this wouldn't be an issue because the car was a 2025 ( it's too new ) his words! Missed several appointments due to the battery issue just for him to up charge us and continue to state it wasn't the equipment draining the battery and that we need to drive our car more! read more

Robert and his team are responsive, detail oriented and don't cut corners. Robert rewired my Jeep Rubicon (I had used someone else prior and they created a dangerous mess of wiring and permanent glues to install a stereo!!!) and installed lights for me that totally changed the whole vibe and functionality of my Jeep. Pricing seems fair, depending on what type on tint they were actually quoting, but they did not respond to additional questions I had. Opted to use a different place that was able to answer my questions thoroughly. Was looking for ceramic tint and the only responses I received was price and brand name. When I asked what type of tint the price quote was for, no response. Maybe I wasn't specific enough in what I was asking, but I didn't even get a response. I would rate differently, but it wouldn't be fair since I don't know the quality of the work they do, I can only rate based on the customer service interaction prior to using them. 3 stars to me is a neutral statement neither positive nor negative. *In response to the owner comment, yes the phone number is posted and I should have called. Given that they had been responsive prior and that they opted to respond via chat versus asking me to call, or asking if they could call me, I assumed that asking questions via chat would be ok. Apparently the chat comes with a disclosure that they can't respond to every question. In today's world of technology and people shopping via online, it really isn't too much to ask for a simple response. Given that my last question was on July 14 and no response, yet my post here was less than 2 hours old and they had time, seems questionable that responding to me was too hard to do. Would have been a better CS response to simple state that they apologize for not getting back to me, thank you for the feedback, and move on. No need for the comment that the phone number is listed. I assume you all do great work based on your other reviews. I was just pointing out that you need to be more attentive to inquiries of potential customers, you are losing business that you don't even realize by not. I had to replace some HID lights on my minivan, the dealership quoted me an outrageous price and stated that it would take several days to replace them. I spoke with Robert and he got it done the same day and it was way cheaper. One little thing to add is that he replaced my car key battery because it was on its last leg! Outstanding service and he even provided me some expert knowledge on auto issues (Services that Distinctive did not provide). I will definitely be back! read more
