I told the employee that my ticket was in my car and that I could go get it if needed. She told me to go ahead and get the ticket, so I spent approximately 5-7 minutes in my car looking for it. When I returned, they still could not match the ticket to my order. Eventually, the employee went to the rack and located my clothes herself. I commented that I was glad I had my ticket because, based on what had just happened, I was concerned my clothes may not have been found. She responded that they had "other methods" to locate the order. My question is: if there were other methods available, why was I sent outside to spend several minutes looking for the ticket in the first place? The second issue was even more concerning to me. I have previously explained to the employee that I am genuinely afraid of dogs. I have even shared that I was bitten in the face by a dog and showed her the scar. I understand that the dog is usually kept inside and does not typically come out, but today the dog did come out while I was in the store. I immediately became uncomfortable and left the store. I was then told that they could simply serve me from the door. As a customer, that statement was extremely disappointing and made me feel as though my business was no longer wanted. I was also there to drop off additional clothing, but after that interaction, I took my clothes and left. I believe customers should be treated with patience, respect, and consideration--especially returning customers who have already communicated a legitimate concern. There were several opportunities today to handle this situation differently, and unfortunately, the way it was handled left me feeling very unwelcome. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We then have a conversation via phone about my friend picking the dress up, he says okay. Friend picks the dress up, I go to put the dress on that night at 9pm for an event and realized the cleaners had never put the string back on the gown to the string the dress up. Ended up having to string a shoe string on a beautiful silk gown. Went in to talk to the owners the next morning about the missing string and they just handed it over. no apologies, no incentives, nothing but a stare in the face telling me they're not doing anything or giving me anything. The owner went on to say "things like that happen all the time and that it's not their fault if items are missing, even if they forget to put the items back."

Open during hours I get to around my work schedule, and 2.) Able to take a shirt in a couple of sizes with making it look weird. And that, somehow, led me here. I found the E-Z Dryclean Center online, and the hours listed were late enough - until 6:30pm - that I could make after work. And when I called, the owner sounded like he would've been willing to wait for me if I couldn't make it in time. Between that and the handful of good reviews I saw, I decided to give it a shot. Hot diggity. First, his technique. Every other alterations place I have been pins things and/or uses chalk lines to outline the work to be done, but not here! He took several measurements the tape measure and that was it. Can't argue with the results though. When I first tried on my altered shirts, they were very well-fitted; too fitted, actually. See, they would've been perfect for leisure, but I actually like my office shirts to have more relaxed fit. When I pointed this out he readily agreed to fix it. Other than the miscommunication about the fit, everything was great. The owner was friendly and did fast work. The store was a bit messy, but that's because he's in the middle of expanding the place. I know he's hoping that he'll need the extra room, because he mentioned that business was been slow due to the pandemic. #AsianOwned, cash or Cash App only, will be patronizing again.
