Holy mackerel, what a miserable, controlling woman we found instead! If you want to be sneered at with every response, feel despised and judged, get your garment altered poorly, (with puckering where it shouldn't be), and then not even get it on time and be blamed for her inefficiencies... then look no further. This seamstress is for you. (Perhaps she has a miserable life, but goodness! It seems she could at least TRY to treat her customers with a little more dignity. She needs a serious attitude adjustment!) However, should you desire a pleasant experience and a job well done, then we highly suggest you find another place to support. The jacket is tight across the chest and short on the arms and the length is shortened. Her response was for me to leave the jacket again for them to keep trying to unshrink. Then they tried to blame the fabric. If you thought the fabric was an issue, you should have said something when I brought it in and I would not have used your cleaners to dry clean. Brought my ball gown here on a Monday, was told to pick it up on Thursday. When I went to look at…read moremy gown it was still dirty and looked as if no one had cleaned it. I talked to the guy "owner" and he said he would re clean it, but thats something they don't normally do. The dress was then cleaned again, I called the next morning to pick up the dress and the owner told me it wasn't ready, it'll be ready after 12pm Friday. We then have a conversation via phone about my friend picking the dress up, he says okay. Friend picks the dress up, I go to put the dress on that night at 9pm for an event and realized the cleaners had never put the string back on the gown to the string the dress up. Ended up having to string a shoe string on a beautiful silk gown. Went in to talk to the owners the next morning about the missing string and they just handed it over. no apologies, no incentives, nothing but a stare in the face telling me they're not doing anything or giving me anything. The owner went on to say "things like that happen all the time and that it's not their fault if items are missing, even if they forget to put the items back."

Open during hours I get to around my work schedule, and 2.) Able to take a shirt in a couple of sizes with making it look weird. And that, somehow, led me here. I found the E-Z Dryclean Center online, and the hours listed were late enough - until 6:30pm - that I could make after work. And when I called, the owner sounded like he would've been willing to wait for me if I couldn't make it in time. Between that and the handful of good reviews I saw, I decided to give it a shot. Hot diggity. First, his technique. Every other alterations place I have been pins things and/or uses chalk lines to outline the work to be done, but not here! He took several measurements the tape measure and that was it. Can't argue with the results though. When I first tried on my altered shirts, they were very well-fitted; too fitted, actually. See, they would've been perfect for leisure, but I actually like my office shirts to have more relaxed fit. When I pointed this out he readily agreed to fix it. Other than the miscommunication about the fit, everything was great. The owner was friendly and did fast work. The store was a bit messy, but that's because he's in the middle of expanding the place. I know he's hoping that he'll need the extra room, because he mentioned that business was been slow due to the pandemic. #AsianOwned, cash or Cash App only, will be patronizing again.

Long post alert! I…read morewent to take my birthday pictures today and decided on a laundromat concept. After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!
