I didn't notice them here when I visited in 2024, so this was kind of a nice surprise. They now carry the Starbucks x Disney collab mugs, which makes it way easier if you don't want to search all over the parks. Quick heads-up though: the Starbucks locations in Downtown Disney only have the regular California "Been There" mugs. They don't carry the Disney collab versions. read more

This store was so freaking cute! I'm not an Adult-Disney person, but the items they had here were a mash up between Pottery Barn and Disney apparel! Everything was perfectly displayed and I swear I took more pictures, but perhaps that was a different store, because I don't like taking pix with random shoppers in the background- if I can avoid it...... I did happen to get this one of my fiancé's sister trading Pins with their Pin Board! Pin Boards are such a new thing to me, we seemed to get the info all in one night we spent at Downtown Disney! Hee. As for the items within this houseware style store, they were as expected- "it's the happiest place on Earth......" but honestly it's one of the MOST expensive places on Earth as well. I can find most of products here in World of Disney. But this store is less crowded than Wild of Disney so it is easier to shop here. They used to have dog items like Dog collars, harnesses, and clothes. I am disappointed after they removed them. The haunted mansion clothes were so cute and well made. Hope they come back. This is a really lovely place to get your fantastic home decorations or gifts for the Disney enthusiast in your life. There are limitations on the more popular seasonal items. Usually it's two per guest which I think is fantastic. I do give a heads up though that some of the decorative plates might not be used as serving plates. Make sure you read the back of the plates because there are warnings on whether the dishes are ONLY decorative. read more

Located inside Downtown Disney near Centrico and Black Tap Burgers & Beer offering Disney themed home decor and essentials. The store is clean and bright with welcoming friendly staff that are happy to help! They have a large selection of products ranging from mugs, Christmas ornaments, baking tools, and more. It's always fun to step in to see what new products they brought in. The last I went one of my favorites was the small world clock. This is one of my new favorite stores to visit while in Downtown Disney! My mom and I were visiting for the Disneyland Half Marathon race. While we were exploring Downtown Disney, we stumbled across Disney Home! It's near the Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer restaurant! As soon as you walk into the store, you'll see all Disney home themed items! We saw cook books, cooking utensils, Disney themed plates, bowls, gifts, and so much more! There were so many Disney themed mugs! I almost ended up buying the Beauty and the Beast chip mug from this store! There was also this cute Lilo and Stich themed mug too! My mom and I easily spent an hour inside this store, especially spending a lot of time looking at all of the beautiful ornaments! There were still some holiday items on sale too! Prices are a little expensive at this store, but Disney Home does accept the Magic Key Holder Discounts and the Disney Visa Cardmember Perks! We stopped in to see if they sold ponchos since it was pouring in Downtown Disney. Luckily they had both child and adult for our family, a must for water rides as well! I love how it displays all the Disney Parks! Just make sure to wear something under if you're tall, our arms were exposed and I accidentally tore it a little since it's lightweight. Perfect home goods store for your favorite Disney adult! There is something for everyone- from cutsey mugs to minimalist decor with designs that have a not-so-obvious character reference. Much of the products you see here are sold in the parks so you can still have a successful shopping spree if you don't have a reservation in the parks. I have come in here for years but what made me want to review was the great customer service. They acknowledge everyone who came in but gave them enough space to browse around. This particular day, I had a great conversation about collectibles with one of the associates. If you have a Magic Key to the parks, your discount can be used in this store. When in Downtown Disney I have to stop in to the Home store to see what is new and what I need to take home with me. LOL Today I bought the plastic flour container to go along with the sugar container I bought last year. A friend that was with me bought the black Mickey rug for her front door. It is so cute! I also decided to buy the Disney flatware set. It is $75 but today I was able to use a friend's Cast Member discount so it was definitely worth it! Cool spot in Downtown Disney. I as surprised to see some tasteful Disney home gear. There is a good selection of holiday ornaments but the front of the store was dominated by Halloween items. This is a great spot to buy some coffee mugs too. These stores tend to be open late so you can grab something on your way out. read more

Daaaaangerous shop!! I've been here maybe once before and honestly can't remember what it looked like. We came by a few days ago and it was PACKED. Super long line and TONNNNS of Christmas decor. It was basically all Christmas decor which I guess makes sense but there was very little regular home items that I saw. Didn't bother me at all though because I ended up shopping for a good handful of items and even some Christmas gifts. I finally got the soap dispenser I've been hunting down for months. They had Christmas themed ones but I went for the regular one to use all year round. What an amazing store and that's what I mean about it being dangerous!! You can literally go crazy and buy everything in here LOL. I love all the subtle Disney themed items. I also ended up getting an egg mold to make breakfast a little more interesting along with some Disney themed chip clips. I'm not quite sure, but it seemed to me like everything looked familiar and could also have been found at World of Disney or on Buena Vista Street, but nice that it's small and manageable. I initially thought Disney Home is another Disney souvenir shop that sell shirts, magnets and keychains. I probably passed by this place three times while I was walking around downtown Disney before I decided to come in. While it's also owned by Disney, they carry a different line of merchandise. At Disney Home, they carry home goods, thus the name "home". You can find a lot of Disney themed dinnerwares such as plates, mugs, glasses, bowls, teapots, etc. There are also lots of kitchen wares and gadgets such as aprons, kitchen towels, cutting boards, egg whisker, spatula, cookie jars, etc. There are also several home decor items such as picture frames, table clock, planters, candle holders, etc. A small section is dedicated to your fur babies' needs such as costumes, collars, chains, etc. A really nice place to get those unique gift items for any occasion. The store is very clean and organized. I love the Fourth of July theme decor by the entrance. The store is quite small so it's kind of tight inside. read more

Disney Home has themed merchandise perfect for kitchens. They have a few items for other areas such as a sitting room or den. They change things seasonally and annually. Current spring/summer 2020 themes are a teal and red cherries Minnie kitchen theme, black, grey and eggshell Tuscan theme, and Mickey/Minnie color blocking theme. Everything from flatware, table linens, to beverage ware. In the back of the shop there is a space dedicated to items for cats and dogs. There are items perfect for gifting such as frames, mugs, and special desk collectibles. Prices are surprising because you'd think they'd be high for some items and then they turn out to be on the lower end and vice versa. The service here is has always been pleasant and cast members take great care in packing your fragile items. I love visiting this store. read more

This store is too much! Everywhere I look, I want to buy everything. Luckily, I am strong enough to control my urges and just look but I'm not sure how much longer I can do that. This is like my 2nd time visiting and I again saw MANY things that caught my eye. I am already an owner of Disney kitchen appliances so the new lines just blew my mind and now I really feel I should upgrade my kitchen. I guess time to save up for more Disney loot. If you are looking for a certain mug, they have a whole wall of mugs that I am sure you will find one you like. The back of store...AMAZING! They have a wall of Nightmare Before Christmas home decor that is to die for, like I wanted to wipe the whole wall clean. I am a huge fan of Jack and Sally so I enjoyed the mugs, blankets, figurines, and the dog stuff. Date of visit: June 9, 2018 The Disney Home store has been open for a few months now after taking over the D23 location; on one of our visits earlier this month, we wanted to do some shopping for my mom's birthday and Father's Day. This store has just about every sort of Disney home décor options - mugs, tableware, towels, picture frames, magnets, bottle openers... and even pet accessories! It's a bit surprising, though, that most of the items found here can be bought elsewhere on the Disneyland Resort grounds (i.e., World of Disney, Disney Emporium, Disneyana) - and the store itself is a bit on the small side, so it can get cramped. We did, however, get some kitchen towels and washcloths that we hadn't seen at any of the other stores for my mom's birthday presents. Despite the lack of exclusive items to Disney Home, this is still a pretty good place to check out, especially if you're looking for household items and don't have a ticket to the parks. read more

Of all the times we go to downtown Disney or Disneyland I have always walked by the Disney home store, but I never thought to go in. There's really no reason why, but it was just never something that I considered doing when I went to Disneyland. Since the pandemic I have taken a lot of interest in decorating my home so I knew that I needed to stop by when went to downtown Disney. I've been seeing so many post about the "UP" collection so that's what I had my heart set on. There was a line out the door when I arrived, but the way it was only about 15 minutes. The cast members do a really good job at making sure that everyone is following social distancing guidelines. Upon entering the store I was in awe because there was just so much to look at. It was a little overwhelming at first because I just wanted to grab everything in site, but I knew that I was only there to look at the up collection. I will say that the majority of the items at the home store are pricey, but considering that it's Disney that's pretty much what I expected. They have a huge selection of many home goods and a lot of different items to choose from. Everything was fully stocked and I really like how they limit the amount of people who can enter the store. It was a lot easier to take my time to really look around without feeling crowded. Overall I would recommend this store to anyone who has a love for Disney and us looking to add a few things to their home to display that love. I am very happy with my purchase and this will be a must stop on all of our Disney trips read more

You can find most of this stuff at the World of Disney a few steps away, but do you really want to walk into that crowded store just to get the same stuff? The answer is no; it's much easier to get it at Disney Home. You walk in here and I guarantee you'll want at least two things to take home with you. They removed the dog accessories out of the world of Disney shop, perhaps because they are under renovations, so this is where you would find it. The shop also has food items to pick up as well. This place is so super cute and so temping, you will want to buy everything! I like the variety of products they have stuffed into one small shop. I purchased a Mickey ice cube tray which I did not see online on the official Disney website, so wonder if it is only available in person and not online? I am not sure, but I hope to use it for making chocolate or cake pops as a mold, so I hope it works. They also have that iconic Mickey soap dispenser you see everywhere. Not as big as Disney Springs shop, but still plenty of knickknacks to be found in every corner of the shop. read more

I visited Downtown Disney last week for the Star Wars Hyper-reality experience and I wanted to visit D-Street, but I was sad to find out it was closed down. Disney was planning on opening a Disney Home store to replace D-Street. This store just opened on February 13th (Wednesday) and I had a chance to visit this new store on February 16th (Saturday). The store itself was very bright inside. Way different than the dim interior of D-Street. There was wide variety of Disney merchandise with a specific focus on home goods. The selection of home goods was pretty nice and there was so much stuff either me or my fiancé wanted. We settled for a set of cute Disney ceramic bowls and a set of Disney bamboo kitchen spoons. Overall it's a store that we will definitely be back to visit. read more

The Disney Home Store is a hidden gem in Downtown Disney I didn't know about until very recently on the recommendation of a friend. I never stopped to consider that there would be more Disney to look at past World of Disney. Well I was WRONG. The Disney Home Store is the central location of all things for the home. It's more muted, in my opinion, than a lot of other Disney merchandise which is definitely nice. It is also the home to ALL THE PET MERCHANDISE. If you've been in the parks, you probably saw the occasional dog collar or squeaky toy. The Disney Home Store has it ALL. It's amazing. They also have a lot of different pet sizes, which was a change from in the park (and super convenient for my 9lb gremlin who is too small for the typical Disney garb). This store is also beautifully kept and has so many gems that either aren't in other places or easy to look over at the other stores and places in the parks. It's well presented, easy to browse, and, because it's a little bit of a hidden gem, not especially crowded at all. It. Is. Amazing. read more

Took a special trip to Downtown Disney just to check out the new Disney Home store, which has only been open for about a week. Wasn't sure what to expect, but I love Disney, so I figured it was worth a visit. The store was much smaller than I imagined but they jam packed it full of home decor items. Dishes, flatware, glasses, coffee, and even wine stoppers. They have a whole wall of Disney mugs, and a section in the back of dog items. Lots of fun items, but I didn't end up buying anything. Many items I had seen before in the parks or World of Disney. The store was so crowded I started feeling a little claustrophobic. It's a cute little store though. Disney Home is a small shop filled with kitchen and decor items as well as an assortment of knick knacks for around the home. The items on the store were cute, but you can find most everything in the World of Disney store, which is also in Downtown Disney. I fact, there were a couple of times in Downtown Disney that weren't here, and I would have thought it would be the other way around. The store is on the smaller side, so during COVID times, there's a cast member at the door monitoring the capacity. They do an excellent job with this. The line outside may seem daunting, but it does move pretty quickly. read more

This is a recently renovated reworking of the D23 store, which used to house the majority of Disney's Stars Wars merchandise, as well as the vinyl collection. Now, the Disney Home Store has all your home goods needs in one place! The store is, for the most part, thematically categorized, so kitchen goods are together, pet goods are together, and so forth. They have plenty of mugs in here, which are fun to look at when they're prettily displayed on the wall! The only downside about this store is that the products inside aren't necessarily anything new; I was hoping the Disney Home Store would mean new exclusive Home Store merchandise, but it's mainly just stuff you used to be able to buy at the World of Disney store, which is currently halfway closed for renovation.
