I told her my focus points which were my bathrooms, kitchen, and dusting and wiping down my inside windows. She was transparent with me about one of my showers having mold in the caulking that was difficult to remove and I Understood. I think she did a good job overall but I wouldn't call this a deep cleaning in my opinion. I think if you really want a deep cleaning you need at least 2 people. I think I paid $175 and tipped her $40 as well and I do feel like it was a fair price for the cleaning that was done. I was really hoping baseboards, cabinets, and fridge doors would be wiped down. She did a good job in my bathrooms and oven was clean inside as well but not my microwave. Don't expect them to sweep or vacuumed under furniture tho. She cleaned my blinds and windows. She used her vacuum to remove the dust from my couch. She also removed the dust from lots of objects around the house, such as vacuum cleaners, travel bags, lamps, etc. Living in a dust-free house is priceless, and Alex's cleaning services represent a tremendous value. I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly within days of the quote. He came out and looked over the driveway. I also had red spray paint on my driveway that he noticed as well and told me that could come up very easily. I asked him how much of the oil stain would actually come out and he said about 80% but because it was so old that it wouldn't come out completely. I proceeded with the service and it took him around 20-25 minutes to complete. Overall, he did the job that was asked, he was professional and polite. He did say that he uses all organic chemicals. I'm not sure if I'm being unreasonable but I just feel like it's possible for the oil stain to come out more than it did. The spray paint came out with no issue. I received an email…read morefrom Groupon for this company and since I needed carpet cleaning at 2 houses I decided to give them a shot at one before booking both. Even though I only have one room one hallway stairs and a small inlay I purchased the three bedroom one hallway Groupon that allows you to substitute one bedroom for stairs & I substituted another bedroom for the small inlay downstairs. I thought it was a Great deal for 70$ plus 20$ tip! The person I spoke to when I called was AWESOME. They were polite, informative & all around very pleasant, making an appt was quick & easy. The person who came to my home to clean the carpets was also fantastic, polite, courteous. This review is in no way representative of their customer service b/c they have great customer interactions. Since I read on their page that the carpets can take twenty four hours to dry I scheduled my appt early in the day when I knew I could leave the property & not return for more than 24 hours allowing them to dry completely before moving furniture back in. The entire cleaning from the time he pulled up to the time he drove away was approx 45 minutes. (The carpet is beige upstairs & a darker shag brown downstairs & will be 2 years old next month, never shoes & no animal mess as all our pets are older & house broken & we have our carpet professionally cleaned routinely) When we returned to the property about 36 hours later the first thing we noticed when we opened the door was the smell, like musty mildewy rather than clean & deodorized. The movers asked about the smell as well & if the carpet was still wet. We checked & it was not, just smelly with an abnormal texture. I don't allow shoes in the house & my movers couldn't wear booties for safety reasons (slippery) so they covered all carpet with clean runners to protect it. My carpet has always been soft to the touch as it isn't very old. After drying it feels very rough, course & crispy. Also, although it seemed ok when wet, once dry just looking at it you can see it is far from clean. My son accidentally knocked his ice water off the coffee table the night we moved back in & I was really surprised to see what came up on the cloth pictured. I laid down a brand new microfiber towel and just stepped on it to soak up the water after he picked up the ice cubes. We had the carpets cleaned on 10/2/29 & he spilled his water just over 40hrs later. I'm not sure if it's a normal outcome, an outcome as a result of being a Groupon or just an isolated incident but it's a bummer none the less. I really enjoyed the people & was looking for a new regular carpet cleaning company. Maybe avoid Groupon & book directly? Im not super savvy with Groupon but sometimes I notice people's experiences with companies aren't great when they use one.
