I'm super bummed about this review because their customer service is FANTASTIC! I received an email from Groupon for this company and since I needed carpet cleaning at 2 houses I decided to give them a shot at one before booking both. Even though I only have one room one hallway stairs and a small inlay I purchased the three bedroom one hallway Groupon that allows you to substitute one bedroom for stairs & I substituted another bedroom for the small inlay downstairs. I thought it was a Great deal for 70$ plus 20$ tip! The person I spoke to when I called was AWESOME. They were polite, informative & all around very pleasant, making an appt was quick & easy. The person who came to my home to clean the carpets was also fantastic, polite, courteous. This review is in no way representative of their customer service b/c they have great customer interactions. Since I read on their page that the carpets can take twenty four hours to dry I scheduled my appt early in the day when I knew I could leave the property & not return for more than 24 hours allowing them to dry completely before moving furniture back in. The entire cleaning from the time he pulled up to the time he drove away was approx 45 minutes. (The carpet is beige upstairs & a darker shag brown downstairs & will be 2 years old next month, never shoes & no animal mess as all our pets are older & house broken & we have our carpet professionally cleaned routinely) When we returned to the property about 36 hours later the first thing we noticed when we opened the door was the smell, like musty mildewy rather than clean & deodorized. The movers asked about the smell as well & if the carpet was still wet. We checked & it was not, just smelly with an abnormal texture. I don't allow shoes in the house & my movers couldn't wear booties for safety reasons (slippery) so they covered all carpet with clean runners to protect it. My carpet has always been soft to the touch as it isn't very old. After drying it feels very rough, course & crispy. Also, although it seemed ok when wet, once dry just looking at it you can see it is far from clean. My son accidentally knocked his ice water off the coffee table the night we moved back in & I was really surprised to see what came up on the cloth pictured. I laid down a brand new microfiber towel and just stepped on it to soak up the water after he picked up the ice cubes. We had the carpets cleaned on 10/2/29 & he spilled his water just over 40hrs later. I'm not sure if it's a normal outcome, an outcome as a result of being a Groupon or just an isolated incident but it's a bummer none the less. I really enjoyed the people & was looking for a new regular carpet cleaning company. Maybe avoid Groupon & book directly? Im not super savvy with Groupon but sometimes I notice people's experiences with companies aren't great when they use one. read more

Extremely disappointed with the professionalism, or lack thereof by this company. At first they were wonderful, very polite and responsive. Then the day of my appointment came. I was scheduled for 1:30 pm arrival time. At 1:23 pm I called to make sure they were on their way and on time as I read Groupon reviews that had this type of issue. I was told they were on time but she would call to confirm and then call me back. She called me back 2 minutes later and informed me that they were running "a little late" and told me I can either reschedule, or allow them to arrive at 3:30 pm. At 3:50 pm I called and no one had any idea where their crew was. I then explained I had spent the day at the children's peds unit in the hospital with my daughter and was now inconvenienced twice trying to meet these people at my home to let them in. I left my 9 year old daughter at the hospital to meet them. Mind you I hired them because I just had surgery and am on doctor restriction so I cannot even clean myself. Trying to get a refund back sounds like a pain as I went through Groupon, and paid extra for the deep clean. I now have to find another company to do this before my next surgery. I would not recommend this company. Unless you have all day to be jerked around with arrival times and have the day to spend waiting on when/if they show up. Arriving past 3:30 pm for a deep cleaning that I was told would take 5 - 6 hours is ridiculous! read more

I had a move out cleaning service done. The quote was great, but I guess you get what you pay for. The crew did a great job cleaning certain areas. It was spotless on the areas they touched but it looked like they missed certain places. I can tell the floor wasn't thoroughly swept, the baseboards weren't touched, and there were a few scuff marks on walls that could've been wiped off. Owner is very responsive when it comes to getting clients, but after you've paid, no response. Next time, I'll try the other great quotes I received. read more

I Purchased the Groupon for the heavy cleaning because I needed the windows clean, the fans dusted and the kitchen really thoroughly cleaned. I was hoping to hire some ladies for biweekly cleaning. What I got was nothing of sort! I received the checklist of things to be checked off on what the ladies cleaned. What i saw while on the list what's half or less of what cleaning services I got. The two cleaners didn't even know what all was on the list to clean. When asked about the windows or the fans they claimed they didn't have supplies to clean it and didn't know it was included. I made them clean the windows because they were easy to reach and paid for the service. I also gave them a stepstool to clean the fans, these were things that were included with the heavy cleaning rather than just getting a basic cleaning. When I was doing the walk-through I also noticed that things were not clean or even touched at all. Chairs were not moved so dust and dog hair was left behind. I didn't have the time to tell them to do it over. The girls arrived almost 20 minutes late as it was and I needed to pick up my son. My kitchen countertops never got cleaned off, crumbs everywhere. The sinks never got cleaned. Throughout the bathrooms it looked like the same dirty rag was used through out the whole house. Lint, hair and dirt left all over counters, toilet and bathtub. The list goes on and on of all the items they missed. Very disappointed esp when I was hoping to use this service on a biweekly bases. read more

This was by far the best house cleaning I have had come to my home, they left everything spotless clean, wiped down everything swept mopped, detailed everything very well bathrooms were deep cleaned my kitchen looked brand new!! I have kids so it looked like my home amazing after they finished!! Showed up right on time and the girls were very sweet and respectful I loved walking into my home. We had two ladies come to our home and clean for one hour and 30 minutes and they did not do a professional job at all. They did not dust they did not do the baseboards they did not clean The floors properly and what they did clean was not that very well done either. They even shook the dirty mats in my house instead of taking them outside where they should've been dusted properly. The ladies did not vacuum prior or after any floor detail at all. The ladies also did not clean behind the toilets I am very disappointed what a waste of money.! read more

Used a Groupon, took 2 days to get a hold of someone to schedule. The crew arrived 20 minutes late. They then asked to borrow my vacuum since theirs broke on arrival. They got to work. They had another vacuum deliveried a few minutes before they finished. The crew lacked attention to detail including leaving the stove greasy, countertops still dirty, not properly reassembling the microwave tray, and moving furniture to vacuum but not not placing floor savers under the furniture feet. Very sloppy dusting on the entertainment center with clearly visible areas they missed. I hired them to show my kids what clean should look like and it didn't look much better than they do. I could have saved the money and just nagged the kids to get the job done. Much better cleaners out there for the money. read more

I purchased their deep cleaning home service on Groupon. Never again! Their service says 4 hours of cleaning, they left in 3 hours with numerous things they "missed." They were just plain lazy. Their vacuum wasn't "working" so they couldn't vacuum and we were having their carpet cleaners come right after them. We contacted the owner with the issues we had, he asked us to text him photos with no response. Apparently there's 2 owners, the other one came to do our carpets and did not follow up with any of our concerns as the other owner said he would when we spoke to him on the phone. Very unprofessional. I had to bring up the concerns before he ran out of the door. He scheduled to have 2 other maids come in a few days later to touch up the missed areas. They simply mopped the floor and left. I was going to have them clean our couch but I'll skip that and hire another company as the experience is one I'd like to never deal with again. The owners seem to have no care for their customers or who they hire as the owner said, "It's hard to find good help these days." Yeah, and people who care about leaving their customers happy. I had a rental property that i was given back and needed the place to be clean. Checked several places and they were charging ridiculous price to clean a one bedroom condo. Justin gave me an awesome deal and did a great job. The property manager asst. did a walk through and spotted very minor things that needed to be cleaned. I contacted Justin and explained to him what was wrong and he came out, did the touch -up and the place looked great (I thought the first time was great). Scheduled service for a Friday, took the day off after waiting within the four hour window they never showed and never called. They showed up finally an hour and a half after the four hour window, I had already canceled. Simple business story, I would have trusted a company the had the courtesy to call and at least let us know they were gonna be late. There are plenty of options out there. read more

The most unprofessional cleaning company I have ever (not) used. I made a first appt for mid-Dec at 1pm; the cleaners showed up at noon. I couldn't make that time, so I rescheduled for noon a different day. They were a no-show, so by 1:30 I called the company. No answer, left message and no return call. I was going to go through groupon, but the places I was calling were either booked out for weeks, didn't answer/call back, or wanted to charge a much higher amount on top of the Groupon when I mentioned it was for a move out clean. Clean tastic was able to provide service 2 days after my call, and offered a fair price for the service provided. They even gave me a discount for mentioning yelp! We have used Cleantastic for roughly 1 year and have had multiple issues until it finally all blew up. When we originally signed on with them we were told multiple things about supplies and such and how they would provide them, what they would clean and so on. However, there were many times our trash bags where used and other supplies even though they were to provide their own. Also, the cleaning became more and more lazy over time. 2 hours turned in to 1.5 hours which turned in to 1 hour of cleaning. they often didn't have the right supplies or the vacuum wasn't working or something of that nature. There were also multiple issues between their own employees who would fight among themselves in our offices while we were trying to take care of customers over the telephone. We also put candy dishes out for our customers and every time they would come clean, one of them would take handfuls of candy and chocolate with them. These are the small issues but none the less, unprofessional and costly to us. Now on to the time of the Corona Virus... when we were finally allowed back to the office after being quarantined we called them to continue service 1 time and we were given a whole talk about how they were being very careful, the ladies would be wearing masks, etc. When they came, they did not wear gloves or a mask or anything. I asked them to please put them on and they didn't have any. At that point I was forced to call the owner who was very short with me and said "I'm not sure what you are so concerned about, my girls aren't sick". The lack of concern was alarming to me. Especially after being told they are being safe and cautious. He asked me if I wanted them to leave, I said no and then he said he would call them and call me right back. At this time, I hear them leave the building without saying a word. So at this point we fired the company. Rightfully so. Then the owner calls back to say they only left to get masks (never told us this) and that they were coming back to finish the job. Again, stating to me that we are the most ridiculous people and that he doesn't understand why we are so worried since his girls aren't sick. I have had Clean Tastic clean my house several times. I am always happy with the results. Recently I had my bathrooms retiled and asked for a "deep cleaning". The results were wonderful. For this cleaning Vanessa and Perla did an amazing job. My showers were so clean they sparkle, and they were able to clean up the new tile making it look fresh. They are always attentive to my request to avoid certain cleansers because of my allergies. You just need to ask about the cleaning products to be used before they start. read more

The cleaning girls were late which was a bad start and indicator that the whole thing was not going to go well. They were to arrive between 830a-9am they got there close to 10am. The 2 girls arrived in a red Infiniti, I'm expecting 4 or 5 people to clean 3 floor townhome. So I'm thinking another car or a van with the rest of the crew is going to show up. Nope. The girl in charge starts telling me that they were just told about the job that morning and that's why they were late. How can this be when it was all arranged 1 week ago. We go over what's to be expected and she tells me "I got you, we got this, everything will be done". I paid for the top of the line deep clean that includes wiping down base boards, cleaning walls, remove all dirt and crumbs from cabinets and drawers, carpet wash, leave the place showroom move in ready. I'm thinking to myself maybe these 2 girls can pull it off, I tell them I'm leaving for a bit to run errands and will be back to check up on them. Since I was there early at 8am waiting for them I took the time to change out the filters so as I'm leaving the girl asks me if I could leave the ladder that I had used to change the filters, I said yes but this just shows that they came unprepared for the job. I come back around 2pm to check up on them and see that one of the girls is still cleaning the kitchen 3 hours later, which I thought she was putting some heavy work into the kitchen, the girl upstairs is almost finished with the second room. At this point I'm thinking are they almost done? The downstairs still wasn't swept/mopped or cleaned thoroughly one of the bathrooms still wasn't done. Around 330p the carpet guy shows up and it must have meant that it was almost time to leave cause once he showed up they started to hustle and finish up fast no matter what. The problem is once they started to work fast the then half assed the rest of the work in order to get to the next job or go home. When I pointed out that one of the ceiling fans was still dusty the girl replied she couldn't reach it and my ladder wasn't tall enough. Luckily I was tall enough so I got on and cleaned it down. The carpet guy was cool, he's the only reason I gave 2 stars because he came in, did his job and did it well, plain and simple. Once he was done they all left and I called the inspector to get the place it's final walkthrough, we scheduled it for the next morning. Well the next morning came and the inspector and I walked the place. Not even 30 seconds into it and the inspector pointed out that the baseboards in the entry way were dirty, in fact she pointed out that they were all dirty as we walked the house. They still had grime and dust buildup on them. The kitchen counters and fridge had a greasy film on top of them, the same kind you get when you use a dirty towel to clean them, so they look hazy. The walls weren't clean as the inspector pointed out stains on the walls throughout the house. The kitchen floor had a stain that was so obvious it's like the girl said I'll come later to get it or just said "Nope!". Downstairs and the stairs were not swept. Luckily the inspector gave me the option to fix the problem so I literally took my parents to help me redo the whole F'ing house, top to bottom that same morning. What the cleaning crew took 7 hours to 'clean' my parents and I did in 2 hours! Ask me why my mom was able to fill a garbage bag full of debris, garbage and stuff that was picked up after we cleaned. If I knew this was going to happen I would've saved my money and just had my parents help me clean the house and just pay for a carpet cleaning. Never again, very disappointed and upset. $280 down the drain. Maybe their regular basic cleaning services are good but as far as the deep clean package is concerned, I would go elsewhere. read more

Worst customer service Ever! I bought a Groupon housecleaning coupon. This is the 2nd and last time I would ever use this company. I bought the coupon about a month ago and asked for the people who cleaned my house the 1st time and told no problem. My appt time was noon yesterday, at 12:30 no one had arrived so I called Cleantastic, spoke with Justin who said cleaners would be there in an hour, locked themselves out of their van, I called 30 minutes later, Justin stated they would be at my house in 30- 45 minutes. He said he would update me, he never called back or offered any other dates or rebate or even an apology. Long and short Justin did not seem to care that cleaners arrived more than 3 hours late, he never called, and lied about arrival time. Cleantastic should not be allowed to advertise on Groupon with a rude employee like Justin in their customer service Dept. Cleaning job was barely passable with tile floors completely streaked in all rooms. Also completely different cleaning team was sent. Do not use Cleantastic, Rude and Unreliable. read more
