This dealership attempted fix my oil cooler but failed to complete the task ...they replaced parts but did not flush the oil from the cooling system. then installed an inferior radiator cap and this workmanship left me stranded on a rural Montana highway as they refused to help me get home nor get my pickup towed to them for diagnosis. They kept my full size vehicle for nearly two months and left me with a rental that was a third of the size of my full size truck and lied to me over and over and over....BEWARE!!! I contacted Mark the owner about my issues and even he would not listen to the fact that they did a very bad job in the first place. They blamed all sorts of things instead of tackling the issue. You've lost a loyal customer of 7+ years for the following reasons: 1. Tried to replace my brakes which had 60% left on the pads; 2. Tried to replace my "dirty cabin air filter" for $75 that, come to find out-did not exist. So I installed one in 5 min for $9; 3. Charged me for tire rotations for years during oil changes after I purchased them FROM YOU and found out it should have been free, refused any refunds; 4. Told me I needed a new radiator after just having it inspected and thermostat replaced (by your shop) and yet couldn't tell me where it was leaking from; I am truly disappointed to leave as I always felt like a valued customer until discovering how long I had been lied to. Purchased tires from Dishman Dodge Ram Chrysler Jeep for our Grand Cherokee less than a year and a half ago. One tire failed under the warranty and could not be repaired. Turns out the tires have since been discontinued and they could not find any comparable ones on the market. The best they were willing to offer was 50% the material cost of one tire even though we had to replace all 4 at once just because one failed. Offering $200 towards a nice set of tires that still have over 40k miles of life left feels like a slap in the face compared to the full replacement cost of $1400. It took over two weeks to even get that answer to us and management won't return our calls. Unacceptable level of service. Months ago this service department also told us we had $6500 in repairs to be made on the same vehicle due to an oil leak. Got a second opinion from an independent auto shop and the repair was made for less than $1500. The independent auto shop had no idea why/how the dealership came up with such an extensive list of repairs. The Jeep is has been running perfectly with no issues since. Never going back to Dishman. read more

Bought a 21 chrysler voyager with low miles from another big box dealer, 3 months into ownership the transmission went TU. Took to dishman as they were recommended. They got the car first week Sept 23, after doing a complete dodge warranty replacement sends me on my way. Here I sit 9 months later car starts doing same crap. Call to get car in for warranty work, am told my oem Mopar transmission is out of warranty. WHAT???!!! I have not hit 3 yrs or 100k miles as was told to us upon pickup. The service manager is ignorant at best. He continued to treat me as most dealerships are when they here a females voice. I proceeded to do my homework as I am livid at this point. Come to find out it is still under warranty. A sales manager proceeds to tell me the warranty is 2 yrs unlimited miles. Again, WHAT???! Whether replaced under warranty or not the oem part warranty does not change no matter how it was replaced. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Everything they touch seems to go to sh*t... We will be filing a formal complaint with the AGs office therefore they can do an investigation. Seems to me there is fraud issues going on in this place. read more

Brought my 2021 gladiator in for service and complaint about engine noise and transmission issues. Got a call 3 hours later everything is fine. Started car noise still there. Even told them it was lifter but they still said everything is fine. Drove of the lot and gear got stuck in second. Brought it to Dave Smith Kellogg and Findlay Post Falls both said obvious lifter noise and it's a common issue. Now they ordered parts and engine head will get rebuild and possibly need an entire engine. No question I will take my cars elsewhere. They probably would have let me drive it till out of warranty. The noise is super obvious any hobby car guy would have diagnosed this. Do not rely on their word or just take your business elsewhere. read more

Let me tell you about my experiences with this horrible dealer. Found a Rubicon 4XE we like, so I went ahead with their online buying process on their website because I live in Seattle. * Monday morning, I submitted all the documents required for processing the finance application, which should take less than 15' as stated on the website. However, I received only a phone call in the afternoon from a salesperson, who urged me to come in and do the application onsite?!?!?! I told him I couldn't do that and asked for photos/video of the car; he said he would send it right away, but nothing * Tuesday, I sent them another message about the buying process and asked for a deposit if they wanted. Received only the photos/videos in the afternoon without any answer. Then my credit monitor alerted a new hard inquiry from them. They did a credit check without any confirmation or letting me know they did that?!?!?! * Wednesday afternoon, I started receiving a few messages asking about something on our credit application. At 5:12 PM, they said it was approved, but at 5:17 PM, it was sold by someone else. They even said they couldn't take deposits because it's WA laws?!?!?! So it took them three days to process a simple credit application which should take only 2' and less than 15'. LIAR, don't believe anything they said or promised. They just want you to come in and then play game with your financing options. I ended up with a hard inquiry on my credit score after wasting time with them. The Rubicon was still available on their website when I posted this review. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY A LIAR. Recently had my Ram 2500 in for routine service as well as a minor repair on my Ram Box. Very happy with all the folks in the service center. Getting an appointment was easy and prompt. Their staff was friendly and accommodating throughout the process. Tawny White was a pleasure to deal with.. she went out of her way to keep me informed throughout the repair and actually rolled up her sleeves and assisted the mechanics... who were also great. In the winter of 2015 I bought a Jeep Wrangler. The reason that I've held-off on this review for a year, was to see how my experiences have transpired at this dealership. Here is my overall breakdown of Dishman Dodge. Sales Department Pros: Got the vehicle for less than what I was looking at in Kellogg. The salesperson was good. Quickly greeted (...but most dealerships do). Cons: Never answer emails. Try to sell cars with dents, broken panels before the customer sees them. The final/closing guy that you deal with is slimy and pushy, stereotypical salesperson. They only have a few rentals available when your car is being serviced. Service Department Pros: Have yet to find any. Cons: Lost paperwork for over a month "drawer mishap." Think that you have no idea what you're talking about because you're a female. Overall, I wouldn't recommend buying a car here. If/when I do buy a car again, I'd rather go to Kellogg, pay the extra thousand dollars and not deal with any hassles or hour long haggling. read more

I bought a used car at Dishman Dodge two years ago and I am just getting around to leaving a review! I should have left one sooner, I had a great-no pressure buying experience from my salesman, Mike Cole. He was consistently very engaging and helpful, he was also very prompt at answering any emails or phone calls. He even helped me clean out my old car (which to be honest was disaster) and took the time to sit with me in the parking lot, making sure I was comfortable with all the dashboard specifics before driving away- including showing me how to program radio stations so that I didn't have a boring drive back home! :) When it comes time for our next purchase, a family SUV, I will be sure to check Dishman's inventory first, in hopes that I would get to work with Mike again. Professionalism, genuineness, and friendly people like him are what make lifelong customers out of the community. Thank you, Mike! Took my Jeep to the body shop because it was leaking. The floor in my car was SOAKED from the front passenger seat to the back. I don't have a garage and it had been pouring rain so they kept it for a few days to dry it out for me. They diagnosed it as a leaky windshield, fixed the problem and dried the car out for me for a very reasonable price. It looks like they also washed my car for me as I haven't seen it look this shiny in months. I was very impressed with the service and the price. I would definitely take my car back to Dishman. read more

Ordered a RAM truck from Dishman back in August. I had the pleasure to work with Shawn "Vandy" Vanderberg. I only knew of him because of other reviewers and their experience they wrote about. I went into the dealership and specifically asked to work with him. He made the ordering process very simple. Took less than an hour and my dream truck was ordered back in August. Took almost 16 weeks but my truck finally arrived. Big kudos to the detail guys who finalized the truck and prepped it for me. It was sparkling and ready for me to drive off in. Again my overall experience working with Vandy was great. Highly recommend his non-aggressive approach. Only drawback you mind find is that he is busy, due to his excellent customer service skills. I won't be going back here for service. The regular service desk is just OK, kind of pricey. The collision center is bad. I was rear-ended and they were able to get it all fixed, but took ages (thanks to COVID and supply chain issues I guess). But there is some shady stuff going on, like I take my car in for oil change and my windshield washer fluid hose is disconnected when I get it back. This is the kind of crap that places pull that's shadey as hell to get customers back in to spend another $200 for something stupid that THEY did. However, my major gripe and the nail in the coffin is that between the accident and the time I received my vehicle back from the collision center, my TPMS receiver went out AND THEY WON'T FIX IT. From the moment I got out of the car at the accident to the moment I picked it up I didn't touch it and it was in their hands, yet somehow the requirement to fix it falls on me. All I got from them was 'it goes out all the time' which is BS and the vehicle should have been in normal operating condition when I received it, nothing broken. At this point I have the part to replace it but will not be taking it to their shop to get it fixed. Shady shady shady. read more

I called the Dishman Dodge parts department at 11 a.m. to find out how late they were open so I could get a key made. I was told that they would be open until 6 p.m. I told the person who answered that I worked until 4 p.m. and had a hour and a half Drive to make sure that I could get there in time. They told me as long as I got there before 6 there will be no problems. After getting off work in Priest River Idaho and driving all the way out to the Spokane Valley, I was told there is nobody in the office to make a key after 4 p.m. Complete bullshit. Update: I called the next day to talk to a manager and the person I spoke to in the service department was terribly ride and unprofessional. She said, "well I don't know who you talked to so it really doesn't matter." 1. Yes, it does matter. I took time out of my busy day and work schedule. 2. I was not wanting any assistance at that point as I went to Lithia Dodge and had my key made with no problem. All I wanted was to let a manager know that I was given incorrect info by one of their reps and they should probably pass on a memo to their staff so it does not happen again. To be treated so poorly in person and then on the phone is appalling. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dishman Dodge. I had a leak in my 3rd tail light, causing a ton of leaking in my back seat. They found it, fixed it, but in looking over my beloved Ram 1500 Larime, they found a warranty covered issue with 2 manifold studs. I was also having new mud flaps and an oil change. They had me into a rental car within 4 hours of diagnosing the issue and I was called today before 2 pm that it was all done!! Fixed repaired!! They are detailing the water spot as well. I'd like to thank Dishman for the courteous service and great communication, specifically Luke Arneson.. you my friend are heads about the rest!! I cant tell you how privileged I feel to have been treated so well!! You deserve a raise!! read more

I'm a new customer to Dodge. I called in asking for a transmission fluid change cost, the service calls back after an hour to let me know that is a full service that includes transmission, differentials, and transfer case fluids all together cost $230, they said we are 3 weeks out so I scheduled. I went today 7/31/19 to drop off the car, as I'm handing the keys they say it's going to be $405+tax, I'm like NO wait you told me it's $230 out the door when I called and you guys called me back. They said sorry we told you that! I took my car and left. I guess I will not go there again if they can't hire people to give you the correct figures to start with. read more

I purchased a 2015 cherokee from a dealership in cda. A recall popped up on my car and I started having an alert pop up for the start stop service not working. When I called, it was 3 weeks before my MANUFACTURER warranty expired (I had the extended warranty). They made an appt, then called to reschedule because their guy had gotten hurt and needed surgery. I was understanding and congenial, expressed my empathy for the injured service technician, and rescheduled. I finally get in there, tell them again about the stop start error message, and an issue with shifting, and was told that despite my being understanding and accommodating of their scheduling emergencies, they would only do the recall flash and wouldnt even do the diagnostics on my car without a $100 deductible. After I was already taking time out of my schedule to take my jeep in for their recall and was flexible with the their schedule conflicts. I will never go back there again! The customer experience was bad enough that I almost wouldn't by another jeep again just so I don't have to deal with their service department. Such a shame. I love their vehicles. read more

I drove all the way from Coeur d'Alene to pick them up end it seems that the guy in the order department forgot to put in the order. Way to go! They had to be re-ordered so that they could come in the following day. The parts department seemed very uninterested in my dilemma. read more

I have had a Town and Country Chrysler since 2008. This is back when they gave the lifetime powertrain warranty. I brought my van into Dishman faithfully, even though I had consistent problems with the service department (because I had to have it serviced by a certified dealer to keep my warranty, I wasn't driving up north every time I needed service). I should have driven up North or to Kellogg. Multiple times I have had problems with the service department. Telling me a I needed brakes and rotors. My boyfriend who is a certified tech then buys the needed supplies to replace them. Low and behold they are all perfectly fine. I had a tune up done that was supposed to include oil change. They forgot to do the oil change, when I brought it back it back in it was a fight to not have to pay for the oil change. They can never seem to figure out why one of my headlights periodically works. Telling me the system is not throwing any warnings. They also can't figure out why my tire pressure warning goes off and shows all four tires flat on long road trips Again, system doesn't show any warnings. These aren't even the biggest issue. Back to the lifetime powertrain warranty. Dishman Dodge failed to put in the paperwork for my 5 year review period, EVEN though I have service records that show I was there for service within the window period. So now my warranty is void, even though I have done everything I am supposed to. And the service managers answer is there is nothing we can do, our area rep can't do anything and "I am not speaking to you about this anymore". AND HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They have horrible customer service and treat woman as if they are idiots when it comes to cars. When you bring any problem to them they are defensive and never want to try to solve the issue. read more

Dishman Dodge is all over the map. In the sales department they have a new building that is very attractive, and all is well on the sales end. My own purchase was a Dodge, Dart GT, and the product has given me no troubles. My salesman John introduced me to the Sales Manager Richard and everyone was real nice over there. Things go south when you get to the service department, the backlog to get a no start condition looked at is unacceptable. The service area appears to be from the early 60s and has seen better days. The waiting room was dark, and uninviting, with ancient furniture I got called in on an engine coding when it was only a recall to reprogram the fuel injection, it could have waited and did not require me taking a day off from work, but that is more on Dodge than the dealership. On the other hand I had a 5 star experience with Mike in the body shop, so I figure that evens things out to about a 3 star experience. read more

They're service dept sucks. We bought a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee overland from them. A year later you can hear the left front tire rubbing the fender while negotiating switch backs traveling up the mountain to go snowboarding. Even see the paint rubbing off the inside of the fender. We had just replaced the tires the summer before due to an unrepairable puncture. We told them how to repeat the problem. They threw parts at it and even though the noise is gone I asked if the alignment was checked to see if that could be causing some of the issues as driving it it the snow was a white knuckling experience which was never the case with our 04 liberty. They told me that they had and that the alignment was fine and "that they all drive like that". Bullshit! 3 months later the tires were shot, my wife was complaining about how the car felt like it was sliding while coming out of the car wash. She was done with the car and threatening to trade it in without me. Being a long time Mopar lover my confidence in the brand was diminishing based on this car. I convinced her to wait to get some new tires which discount tire gave us a pro-rated discount on and I took it to Advanced Auto Fabrication to have it aligned. While the rear tires had looked fine as far as the alignment AAF found all four corners on the Jeep where out of spec in the toe settings. All in different directions! No wonder the car felt scary to drive in the snow We tweaked some settings to suit our driving style in the end. Now the car is a totally different animal! It drives the same in 6 inches of snow or slush as it does on dry pavement, no more death grip on the steering wheel. It just goes whenever and wherever you point it. My wife loves her Jeep again. Dishmans service dept has lost my business forever for lying to me and making me lose faith in a brand for a while. I'll take my Mopars (3 daily drivers and 3 more collectors) to Lithia from now on as they're service dept is worlds better and there way it should be. read more

Do not go to Dishman dodge spokane valley for any work on your vehicle. I put dewalt tools in side compartment of my truck right before I brought it for a recall issue. I took truck straight there. Knowing I had to go work in my coffee shop after. They took the truck back did the recall and brought it back out. And tools are gone every one of them gone. I asked for service manager 3 times. Finally comes out with a additude right off the bat says we didnt steal any damn tools.no grating nothing. I tried to explain to him I just put them there before I came here. I called police to come out for a report they said there was tools back there of dewalts but they claim its there. I am so pissed off first and last time I will go there. read more

Misleading and shady tactics!! My husband and I brought our 10 month old daughter with us to look at a truck on the evening of 4/30/18. The sticker price was listed at $21k which is also what was listed online. My husband drove the truck and spoke with the salesman. My husband made it VERY clear we would need to be out the door at $20k. The salesman, Josh, led my husband to believe this would not be an issue. After driving the truck my husband found our car seat does not fit well on the back seat. We ended up leaving the lot as they were getting ready to close. After discussing our options we found we could get a smaller car seat and make it work. My husband went back first thing this morning 5/1/18. Once he began speaking with the salesman the price of the truck suddenly went up to $23k and there was "no way" they could get us out the door at the $20k that was not an issue the night before. I understand it's a used car dealership and that just comes with a certain amount of shadiness but this is just ridiculous! This truck is still currently listed as $21k online. I also understand things change from the end of the month to the beginning of the month due to sales goals but I still find this practice to be unacceptable. It's time we stop letting this be the normal and demand more. Shame on you Dishman Dodge! Sadly you were unaware when you made this decision that we are actually in the market for 2 vehicles and you lost the opportunity for either of the sales! read more

I feel badly for the few people on here that did not receive the service that I received. My experience was dreamy--Dishman didn't "sell" me a truck. My salesman, Ken Howser, helped me "find" a truck. I was there a total of only a few-ish hours, from the moment I pulled up into the lot until I left the lot, all signed. And, most of the time taken was from them trying to lower my payments for me (which they unbelievably did!!). Additionally, I am not a friend of car lots or dealerships. I just really do not trust them. This was not my experience here at all and I did not feel any pressure at all. I had fun! My salesman was real--No b.s., very much a professional and saw me through the entire process--even sat with me when they were busy and the financial managers were working on my deal. I could not have asked for better customer service which is almost surreal this day and age. Also, the aesthetics of the dealership itself was very nice--and it just really added to the entire experience of feeling like they care--even though I was not there to purchase a $40,000 vehicle. However, I could have been trying to purchase the moon, from the way I was treated by Ken, Brian in Finance and the rest of the management team that was working with my deal. They even let us bring in our dog to sit in the waiting area. After that, I was really impressed. :-) read more
