SEE REVIEW FROM 10/2/14 - Read this one - then RUN!!!!! RO - dated 10/17/14 - Late September, the engine light came back on. It was on for several days, then off, then back on, then off. So in addition to having no keys, headrests, I am still having issues with the engine. I called again, arranged an appointment, and dropped my Jeep off at Dishman Dodge. I asked them to do a full inspection and fix any issues, including an alignment, vibration check, and windshield noise check. It was there for days, and I received no update. When I called, I was told there was an additional part needed to complete the repair (Issue: Cylinder Misfire P0301). I asked why no one called me. I was not given an answer. I never received an apology. I asked if the Jeep was safe to drive, and was told it was, so I told them to give me my vehicle rather than inconvenience me, and call me when this part arrives. The first week of November, they confirmed they had the needed part to repair the vehicle, but the repair would take some time. I advised that I would be out of town for a week (11/3-11/10) and that they could complete the repair during this time. I called when I returned home. They repair was not complete. Finally on 11/13, the repair was complete. They did do the alignment and were able to turn off the engine light, but advised the brakes were fine. I thought maybe the hell I had experienced was over. I was wrong. R/O dated 12/3/14 - In late November, just weeks after it was in Dishman's shop for over a week, the temperature issues began. The heat would not turn off. It just blew hot air at full blast. It was cold out, so at least it was heat coming out and not cold air - but it certainly ate up a lot of gas. I had also noticed what sounded like air coming from my windshield. So - I did as I had before. I called, scheduled an appointment with this dealer that I have no faith in. They took my vehicle and a few days later, they said the temperature issues were fixed (caused by a battery drain) - and that sound I heard was the tires. Battery drain? Tires? Really? I had had the Jeep for almost four months, and it had been in the shop for almost half the time I had it - and the only positive thing about my experience of purchasing this Jeep so far was the fact that it was covered under the original warranty and all the repairs were covered 100%. Just like Dishman's repairs, this was also short lived. R/O dated 4/2/15 - The engine light is on AGAIN (Issue: P0456 evap system). I made the appointment - they "fixed" the issue - or so they said. Dishman charged me a $100 deductible. They stated all repairs to my Jeep now fall under the extended warranty and I will be responsible for the deductible. This is really the last thing we needed. My fiance and I were moving in a month due to military orders. My worry - what do I do if I keep having problems. Where do I go? Dishman's response: It's not our problem. R/O dated 7/3/15 - In late June, the issue from December returned. Temperature controls would not shut off. I had hot air blowing at me in the summer. So wait, they fixed it? Obviously not, or obviously this Jeep is a lemon. We were in Illinois at this point. I find a local dealer - Benoy Motors, and provide all the paperwork received by Dishman for their records. I advise that Dishman service blamed a battery drain as the cause. Benoy Motors seemed to think that made no sense at all. Benoy found the control head failed. They replaced it. I would have had to pay another $100, but I called Dishman service (Shane) and asked them to pay the deductible since they didn't diagnose or fix it correctly. They paid it. At this point, I am in tears and sick from frustration. How long do I have to deal with this? R/O dated 11/5/15 - It's the end of October, and the engine light is on again. I call Benoy Motor and schedule another appointment, then call Dishman service to report and request they cover the deductible. Shane refuses and tells me that the Jeep is my problem and they aren't doing anything to help me any further. When I drop off the Jeep, I report a list of additional issues I am experiencing again - vibration in the tires, noise from the windshield, auto-start not working. I received a call states that the same issue form April (P0456) had returned. So again, something that Dishman had claimed to "fix" is not fixed. I pay another $100 deductible. R/O dated 03/21/16-On 3/8/16, the engine light came on again. It lasted for four days and then shut off. Then on 3/15/16, the Jeep started making a loud, precarious grumbling sound. I took it to Benoy, again, and they discovered several issues including: leaking water pump, loose belt tensioner, loose fan clutch, and faulty serpentine belt. read more
