Unlike a downtown dealer, I've never felt like they were trying to pull one over on me. Like most auto maintenance you can pay for convenience or DIY. They don't over pressure you either way, so I pick and choose what I have them do vs what I do myself. No scare tactics or anything like that ever used when I discuss with them what I will do vs what they will do. For instance, I personally hate doing oil changes myself, so will use them for that if I need other work done. Also had them install a OEM hitch because I have the lift gate kick sensor as well and had to be moved when the hitch was installed. I selected the OEM hitch because it looks much better than the aftermarket ones.

I would avoid this lot by all means. Incompetent all around, typical used car salesman types:…read moreattentive when they want to sell you something, ghost once the sale has gone through. Hard sell on the warranty. There are major issues with internal comms. More than once I have contacted them about simple service related items. They tell me, "ok, come in any time." But then I show up and their service department is completely confused and I end up having to make an appointment and come back. The latest had to do with getting a front license plate bracket installed because they didn't install it when I bought it (I should have made them install it when I bought it). First time I emailed Nick who made a big show of "email me for anything." No answer. Then I call, they say 'come on in' and like an idiot I believe them. When I get there they turf me to AutoNation Acura next door, who are all confused because no one from Honda gave them any heads up about my coming over. Yesterday same thing happens. I made the mistake of believing the person I spoke to who said "come on in". Service ppl are again confused, say they don't have the bracket but can order one and tell me just show up to Acura and they'll install it. Tell me why I showed up to Acura today, they have 2013 and 2015 brackets but not 2014. Those Honda clowns either didn't order it or ordered the wrong one. Acura is ordering for me directly and ill show up tomorrow to have it installed. I trust them, but not Honda. I regret buying from autonation Honda. Worst experience ever.

I was traveling from over 350 miles away to purchase a used vehicle "sight unseen" so it would have been a real bummer had they miss-represented the vehicle over the phone. In the past I have always been wary of dealerships and car lots when looking for a used vehicle, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Ken and Mario were great and treated me very well and gave me a very fair price for a used truck in truly great condition. They run a tight ship at Corwin Ford, and I would not hesitate buying another vehicle there in the future.

We recently purchased a 2006 Acura MDX from Corwin Ford for our 18-year-old daughter. We went back…read moreto Corwin because we have bought from them before and trusted them. During the test drive, we noticed the steering felt unusually stiff during turns and specifically asked questions about it, including whether fluids had been checked. We did not receive a clear answer. Shortly after leaving the dealership, the vehicle began making significant noises during turns that were not obvious during the test drive. We contacted the dealership multiple times by phone and email over several days trying to discuss the issue. When the manager finally returned our call, the conversation was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening to our concerns or showing any willingness to help, he immediately became defensive, accused my husband of lying, and repeatedly stated, "You signed 5 pieces of paper." We fully understand the vehicle was sold "as is," and we are not disputing that. What was upsetting was the dismissive attitude and complete lack of professionalism in handling a legitimate concern that arose almost immediately after purchase. We understand older used vehicles can develop problems, but customer service still matters. We came into this purchase excited to buy a vehicle for our daughter, and unfortunately the experience afterward left us feeling misled and disrespected. I would strongly recommend that anyone purchasing a used vehicle from Corwin Ford pay for an independent inspection before signing paperwork. We will not be back, which is a shame because we have 3 more daughters who need vehicles in the future.

ZERO STARS This used to be my trusted mechanic and I'm so…read moreupset I have to write this but I don't want anyone to deal with what I'm dealing with. I bought my mini cooper from this business and the experience was great! I subsequently took my car into Bill every time and thought he was honest and had integrity. As single woman, I had other mechanics present as untrustworthy so it was wonderful find an honest dealership. NOPE! My mini cooper is now almost destroyed because of their shoddy work and I'm out thousands of dollars and I've had the run around. Below is part of the complaint I've made to both the BBB and Attorney Generals Office. We are waiting on a response from the business to determine if small claims court is next to recoup our losses. He installed after market parts in my car repeatedly with repairs lasting barely two years. THERE IS A PATTERN HERE OF CHEAP PARTS, NO ACCOUNTABILITY, MYSTERY CHARGES AND ZERO TRANSPARENCY. HE WILL PUT IN CHEAP AFTER MARKET PARTS THAT WILL CRAP OUT IN ABOUT TWO YEARS AND DESTROY YOUR ENGINE. BELOW IS PART OF THE LEGAL FILINGS WITH BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE : I am writing to formally demand immediate resolution regarding the defective turbo installation and associated damages to my vehicle, which directly stem from your shop's substandard workmanship and repeated use of faulty parts. This is not the first time I have been left to bear the financial and emotional burden of your shop's negligence, and I will not tolerate this pattern any longer. The Facts Defective Turbo Installation and Catastrophic Damage: The turbo installed in my vehicle has suffered a catastrophic failure in just over two years, despite the fact that I rarely drive my car. The failure has caused 3 liters of oil to pour into the catalytic converter and seep into the tubing, leaving my vehicle in a disastrous state and requiring extensive corrective work. History of Shoddy Workmanship and Defective Parts: You replaced the valve cover, but that repair barely lasted two years before the part failed. Despite the warranty, I was forced to cover out-of-pocket expenses that should have been fully covered. Now, the turbo you selected and installed--a critical component--has proven equally unreliable, further demonstrating a troubling trend of subpar repairs. Lack of Transparency: Despite my repeated requests, you have failed to provide a receipt or clear documentation for the turbo's cost. The only receipt you've shown is for $298 for mounting pieces, leaving $702 unaccounted for in the $1,000 charged. Your refusal to provide basic documentation raises serious questions about transparency and accountability. Negligence in Professional Standards: Your shop's continued reliance on parts that do not meet quality standards, coupled with inadequate accountability for failures, has cost me time, money, and trust. You've stated in the past that you operate with integrity and "family values." Yet, this is the second time I've had to deal with defective parts from your shop, and the financial and emotional toll is staggering. You've acknowledged the turbo failure may be covered under warranty, but even so, this situation highlights the systemic issues with your choice of parts and service quality.

I would NEVER recommend them, they do shotty work, and con artists when it comes to selling you "reliable" cars and doing "reliable" work to maintenance those cars. The amount of times they put our family in true dangerous situations is ridiculous. And them pushing these crappy warranties on you is bogus. They even submit false claims to the warranty company, get their replacement parts from junk yards, and don't even complete work that they then bill you for. The only reason we continued to bring our car for maintenance with them was because we wanted it covered under the warranty. OH! And they claimed as your car depreciates in value, so does your warranty coverage - COMPLETE bogus and false information. That is NOT how warranties work. Within the last year, Car Emporium "completed" maintenance on our car to "fix" it, billed the warranty company and us as well for false work. I kid you not, just 2 months after they "completed" their work, it died on the side of the road on two separate occasions. Both times, we took it back to our trusted mechanic who did the same work all over again that we had already thought was done by Car Emporium, so even more money out the door. It is absolutely ridiculous, and I will say it until I am blue in the face - DO NOT EVERRRRR buy cars from this dealership!!!!!!!!!!!!

The parking lot setup was chaotic with very little direction on where customers are supposed to park, and the driveway was extremely tight and difficult to navigate. A salesman approached me and seemed annoyed to even grab the keys for the truck. Beyond that, there was basically no effort to help. I asked a few questions and was told he'd look into them, but I never heard back. He didn't ask for my name, number, or anything. I had to ask for his card myself. A couple days later I reached out to two more salespeople and even made an offer on the truck. One replied saying he'd get back to me, and then never did. Honestly, it felt like they had zero interest in actually selling vehicles.

As for Dave, sorry you had to work the day after Christmas, but your smug disdain was disappointing. Also, pretty sure telling us our neighborhood demographic was a hindrance to securing a loan is illegal (i looked it up). We were in an emergency situation and needed a quick fix vehicle for 6k, but they required half down. If we had 3k, we would have bought the same vehicle for $2500 from a private owner (yes I did the research on this as well). "Bad credit, no credit, no problem" is a joke. Finally, Dave if you can't respect the demographic that walks through your door, maybe you are in the wrong line of work. In summary, next week when we have 3k, we won't be going back.
