We were the only visitors at the time, so we're greeted by all the people there who had interesting stories to share and told me of several other places we could go for additional "train fixes". While we've been to many, it was so kind of these gentlemen to go out of their way to encourage my grandson's love of trains. Please go and check out this club. The layouts are incredibly detailed! Right now it's only open from 1-9 pm on Fridays, but additional times are added for fall and winter months.

The hours changed at about this time of the year so the weekends hours are open now. First off the place is hard to find because it's in a strip mall and you can't see the place from the front, drive around to the back side and you will find it. It looks small with one door but it's way bigger on the inside with a huge multi level Lionel O scale layout. The layout is impressive with great detail and interactive scenes/display, just push one of the marked buttons and something comes to life or lights up. Three trains were operating on my visit a steam passenger train, a freight train and a diesel locomotives on the wall display. One of the guys from the club gave me some info and showed me around, this spot is 17 years strong for the club. You can become a member and bring your own trains to run on the layout, no need to have a huge layout in the basement. The layout is very nice but it's a little high for the kids to see but it is a cool place to take the kids. This is a nice different place to spend some time on a rainy day like today or any day if model trains interest you. I'm a train junkie so I like anything train and to have a very cool place like this in the area is neat but don't forget to leave a donation and sign the guest book.

"Look what's happening out in the streets Ain't it amazing…read moreall the people I meet Hey, now it's time for you and me We are volunteers of America" (Jefferson Airplane) What on Earth is Blue Goose? I found out when I joined in 1993, and because I value community service and volunteerism, I've never regretted that decision for one minute. Founded in 1906, the Honorable Order of the Blue Goose, International, is a charitable organization of individuals across the U.S. and Canada. We have one thing in common - we all work in the insurance industry and its related lines of business. We gather at restaurants, golf tournaments, professional and collegiate sporting events, escape rooms, and charitable activities. We have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities and sponsored food, clothing, school supplies, personal care items, and toy drives. We volunteer in the community by collecting after-school snacks and craft supplies for the children's programs, sorting food at local pantries and food banks, cooking and serving dinner, or preparing lunches for homeless shelters. If you are in any way involved in the insurance industry, joining the Blue Goose can advance your career and enrich your life in many ways. You will expand your contacts and pool your resources with fellow professionals to do good things in your community. Just like I did, you'll find a welcoming group of friends. You'll find that a place has been saved for you. Feel free to message me with any questions.

I went to the facility 3 days after her passing and they had already threw away her belongs. There is $6,000 credit on her account and we have yet to receive any reimbursement. Horrible place! I had visited my mother and she complained of terrible back pain. I asked her if…read moreshe had fallen down and she said she didn't know. Then, I proceeded to feel her back. I felt a very large bump that was about 6 inches vertical and 4 inches horizontal with about a 2 inch rise. I immediately went to the front desk and asked if they were aware if she had a fall. The Executive Director of the facility, Tina Stoflet, said that was something that needed to be discussed with the medical power of attorney. I asked, again, if they were aware of the situation. Stoflet, with a very rude expression, repeated that was something I needed to discuss with the POA. This is untrue, as I was not seeking to discover any medical diagnosis or condition. Stoflet remained argumentative and brought up some family disputes of which she had no business to be involved. I had a few words with her, some of which were colorful, but I was neither loud nor disruptive, and left. A short time later, I received a phone call from a police officer telling me I was no longer permitted to visit my mother. Unprofessional, uncaring, and apathetic. Since I am neither the medical nor the financial POA, there is nothing I can do about it...other than share my experience and prevent other families from having to deal with this facility.
