I called Dawn of Caring Hands at Home. I asked her why Carrie was not wearing a mask or gloves or…read morewashed her hands when she visited my elderly mother. She said "They don't have masks." They "have never had masks". "I can't require Carrie to wear a mask because we don't have masks". I asked her how much training Carrie had. She said that she didn't have any training and that they only train them if there is special equipment that is being used. She said that she "has gloves and could give her a box of gloves." I told her that I was in utter shock and can't even wrap my head around the fact she is telling me these things as if my concerns are frivolous. I said that Fauci dominated every network for 2 hours a day. Every website has a Covid notice, every door to every business has a CDC Covid notice about wearing masks and gloves. I said that you can't even walk into Menards without a mask and they, a home health agency, sent someone in to see my mom who is 88 and medically fragile, whose son drives from Chicago to only wave to his mom through her window. I said I drop groceries off and spray the bags down with isopropyl alcohol. She's only left her apt possibly 3 times since the pandemic hit and with all of those precautions, just like that they send someone in who has no protective gear. I asked her to explain that. She said she understands where I'm coming from but we would have to provide masks. She asked me to if she should have Debbie call me. I said yes. She said that she's on vacation, but will try and get ahold of her. I'll let you know when or if I hear from her. I received a call from Debbie. She reiterated my concern. She said that wearing masks is no longer required. I asked her where that information is from. She said the governor. I said that the DHS and CDC guidelines require it and should be the guiding authorities for a home health agency. I asked her how she would feel if someone came in to care for her mother without PPE. She said she could not answer that because her mother is long gone. I asked her if her mother was alive, how would she feel. She said that she would be perfectly fine with it. She herself goes out everywhere without a mask. I said that this is about an elderly and medically fragile 88 year old woman. I said that I had great concern with her agency's judgment on this issue. We want to discontinue Carrie as of today.

NEVER use an agency for care - network and find private pay (FAIR pay - not $16/hr pay for care providers at this place while the agency charges $35-45/hr) A fair wage for a quality care provider is $22-30/hour. These agencies do not care about clients - they care a lot about making money off said clients. Worst experience ever

I had casts on both arms and almost up to the top of my fingers. I had excellent care at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for a week and then not good care at a physical rehab center that I will not disclose for now. Once home I was in dire need of being bathed and combing my hair and that is when Gina took excellent care of me and with a happy and funny attitude also. Not only did she look after me, she also emptied my garbage and help me open bottles in my refrigerator because I could not. I was totally impressed with Gina and someone who I could call a friend!

For all intents and purposes, they definitely do have a good security team on board from what I can…read moresee. My problem came in with the car show that me and my wife decided to attend with her 1972 Grand Prix. Number one my wife and I both have COPD and they placed us on the entire other side of the building which is at least a half a mile long if not a little more walking distance to the bathroom which at first they only had one bathroom open Not only was it on the other side he had to walk him walk to the right, and then almost to the front of the building they opened up another one, but on the same side they would've been more smarter to open up a bathroom on one side and open up a bathroom on the other And this is something that they should've learned the first time around that they did this cause. Evidently this is their second year running one. My second complaint is the fact that their food vendor was only selling hotdogs. Yes, they had soda and water and a variety of chips, but only hotdogs what vendor only sells hotdogs what person in their right mind only sells hot dogs this is just wrong on all levels you at least have Brotz and hotdogs or Brotz and burgers you have choices don't come at me with food And you're supposedly selling food for a cause with only hotdogs that's an insult to your public. There are people who don't like hotdogs who prefer the other or at least Brats. Come on now you're supposed to be smart people.... We also felt like there should've been more prizes for other cars Especially when you advertise more than just hotdogs on your advertisement. Number three They clearly had cones catering to one specific car club saving parking for a favored club Is kind of dishonorable amongst clubs No one particular car club should have first dibs unless they are the ones that are putting it on and I don't think MOB was... We were not impressed... We are not sure we're coming back again hotdogs? We're not two years old.
