The collection of Trolls is enormous and, as we were told, continues to grow and grow and grow. Our tour guide had some great information, fun facts, history and answers to all our questions. We started upstairs and the themed rooms (and fun) almost seem never ending. We saw Trolls of all shapes and sizes. All different mythologies and pop culture influences. From handmade to original myth to the newer versions. We left in awe of the massive scale of this collection. There's a gift shop with unique and rare finds of Trolls as well. From T-Shirts to beads, you can definitely find something to take home with you. Prices were fair for all the rarity of the items. There are a lot more pictures I could upload, but I refuse to rob you of the wonder and surprise that can only come from enjoying this collection, up close and with your own eyes. This is definitely a place we won't forget.

Parking was plentiful, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. After a photo opportunity at the entrance, we were free to explore the museum at our own pace. As someone who isn't a huge football fan, I was mostly tagging along for my husband, who was excited to visit. While there were plenty of exhibits, we were surprised that some notable players we expected to see had very little presence. My husband enjoyed the experience overall but felt there could have been more to see. One thing that stood out was the lack of seating throughout the museum. If you're planning to spend a few hours walking through the exhibits, be prepared to stay on your feet. We spent about two hours exploring and found the two theater presentations to be the highlight of the visit. The films were engaging and, for me, the most memorable part of the experience. The photo packages offered at the entrance were quite expensive, with the cheapest option starting around $38 for digital downloads only. The gift shop was also on the pricey side. In the end, we purchased the digital photos and a few small souvenirs. Overall, it's a worthwhile stop for football fans, especially if you can take advantage of a combo ticket. While my husband was glad he finally got to visit, we both felt the experience was a bit shorter and less extensive than we expected.

Then you need to go here!! I have been to factory of terror since I believe 2018 at Christmas time. They used to have a Krampus haunted house. Now they have Christmas experience for all ages. This year's Halloween haunted attraction was awesome. It was not the scariest but it was the most fun! My friend and I decided this year to go to a different haunted house every weekend this year. This was hands down our favorite. You walk in the gates and before you can even get inside there is a carnival themed bar with very creepy clowns. I had the orange screamcisle drink. You can hang out there or go inside the factory. Then inside you wait a bit and get your picture taken (for purchase at the end) then poison ivy's bar which is like a creepy garden bar. We had more cocktails and test tube shots. Then you get in line for the first haunted house - this one was an actual "house". All of the themed bars match the theme of the haunted house. The second haunted house was a factory. The third is a New Orleans cemetery. After that you head to the bourbon street area that has a bar, some vendors, a fortune teller, a lot of seating areas to hangout and a mini nightclub. We had so much fun here! We had hurricanes to drink and did some dancing. Then you move on to the fourth haunted house that is a "house" and hall of mirrors. The final you go through a pirate themed haunted house with special fog effects that make it look like you're walking through water. The final stop is a pirate ship bar - we had rum runners! You can tell they spend a lot of money on the decorations and the costumes are good too! There are definitely some jump scares. We were pretty scared at times. We were there for about 4 hours - you don't have to stay that long but we stopped to hang out at each bar. The wait for each haunted house isn't more than 20 minutes. BF and I did research before coming here so we knew what to expect. They give very limited tours…read moreand the areas are not all restored or furnished as such. Knowing this, I took a day off on a Friday to come to their 1pm tour. No one else was there so it ended up being a private tour for my BF and me. Our docent Elaine was a straight G for showing us all the areas (and more!), giving us colorful background, really emphasizing the significance of the place and her passion to maintain and preserve. While it's true that the entire upstairs have been converted to offices, Christmas displays and bridal suites, the first floor, and some extras (library, dinning room, sunroom, German pub room) were all still intact and interesting to tour. The staff was very welcoming and it genuinely was interesting to learn about Alliance, the engineering company and the descendants. The admission cost is $10 per person cash and I thought it was worthwhile for the hour+ tour. The grounds had an echo chamber that greatly amused us! Recommend stopping by here and checking out the cute antique shops in downtown Alliance! I had a wonderful day trip here.

We were there for the holiday weekend tour and it was really crowded with not great crowd-management and not really much information about the home or the family. There was a brief hand-out with some basic information about each room, but really nothing really sparked my attention or jumped out here. I am still not sure what the family did or aware of any specific hidden gems in the mansion or anything significant about the architecture. The most interesting little detail were the trolls and owls carved into the molding upstairs in the library. I don't know, but maybe if we came back on a day that wasn't packed to the brim with people I would have felt more engaged? Or maybe more time to talk to the docents? For ten bucks per adult, I don't really think it was worth it. There were significant repairs needed and the house has not fully been restored. There are far more detailed and interesting tours of historic homes in the northeast Ohio area to visit. Either way, now we can say we've been and my son DID get to visit Santa Claus with virtually zero wait to do so. That's a win.

About 225 German Separatists (Radical Pietists) from Württemberg, Bavaria, and Baden, led by Joseph Bimeler came to Ohio to escape religious persecution and form a simpler way of living in Zoar. The buildings look very much like they did when the Separatists arrived in 1819 and most of them have been very well preserved. The Zoar Hotel needs some work and parts of it are unsafe to visit, although the first floor hosted a Christmas tree sale and the basement housed Krampus (which might have been my absolute favorite part of this particular event). I also love how friendly all of the docents are. I've been here many times and the photos attached are from Christmas in Zoar which takes place several weekends in December and is $15 for adults and free for children. There is a bit of a disconnect with the advertising; event page says "guided tour", but you arrive and it's self guided. That is not a problem because I prefer to go at my own pace, however it may be off-putting for some. I also came to Zoar for the Ghost Dinner at Halloween at Zoar Tavern. It was a fun event and the food was really good, but again the communication was a little confusing, because no address was provided and we weren't sure exactly where to go. The Zoar Tavern is listed as "permanently closed" on yelp and on Apple Maps, so it makes you question if you are headed to the right place or not. I would love to do the ghost tour at some point. It is led by a lantern-toting guide through each of the historic buildings and Zoar takes on a different vibe at nighttime. I did bring my son here for the daytime Trick or Treat event and we had a lot of fun and got a generous amount of candy. Also, during the Christmas event the community hall (near the church) sold hot food items and gluwein. Very tasty. The Zoar Bakery was opened as well and I got a pretzel and a cookie. I've never been impressed by the baked goods there, so next time I'll skep that stop. I also bought a commemorative Zoar Christmas mug at the community hall, in which my gluwein was served. Very cool keepsake and I love that hot mulled wine. If you are in eastern Ohio, this place is worth a visit. It is twenty minutes down the street from me, so I have no doubt I'll be back again.

One of my favorites things is seeing Akron Children's Hospital overseeing the ball park. I can only imagine how much it brightens a child's day to look out their hospital room window to see the inside of the ball park. There was a 2026 Extreme Foods article written about food at Akron Rubberducks ball park. My family and I decided to try a couple. The pictures here show The Italian Sausage Dugout from the Bier Garten. For $22 you get the Italian Sausage Dugout (sausage, peppers, onions, marinara, and mozzarella cheese) and a souvenior cup with pop. I was excited and looking forward to this all day, but it was a let down. It wasn't hot in the inside and the French bread tasted like it came out of the freezer. A couple of my other family members got the TeriAkron bowl from the Pineapple Under the C and won't be getting it again. It wasn't as flavorful as one would expect. Overall, a great experience watching the Rubberducks win!

You can lay on LeBron's bed, see his ACTUAL childhood trophies and continue to his high school days where the rim from the Saint Vincent Saint Mary high school gym, then venture on to his pro career where his draft suit is and all statistics and facts about every team he has been on. The museum ends with facts about his foundation, the LeBron James Family Foundation. The best part is that you can spend as much time as you want in the rooms! The only lacking part is the gift shop. They have some great items but they do not have the license to sell most of his Nike gear yet unfortunately. Also I was hoping to get LeBron's high school jersey but they do not have it for sale due to Nike manufacturing it. The LeBron James Home Court is part of House 330 where they have the new LeBron Restaurant called Buckets which is delicious, go read my review on that! They will need to update it now that the king is a 76er!
