The calendar itself changes monthly, with sturdy cards featuring beautiful photographs from parks all across Summit County. It's a simple piece, but beautiful in its craftsmanship and the story behind it. This is a wonderful outdoor park facility! Exploring the trails were the reason we came to this location this afternoon. We did bring our dogs and kept them on leash the full time without any issues! The dogs loved the fresh air & being in nature. If possible I would deduct a half star for the user friendliness of the trails. The trails intertwined, overlapped, & were not marked well for first timers. There was a post with multiple trails at the start & a map. However, there were not any other markers after, even when the trails overlapped & intersected. Overall a wonderful location!! Just plan some extra time to trouble shoot the trails if your a first timer like we were!

Pollinators (bees, butterflies, moths, etc) are an essential part of the ecosystem. They allow native plants to survive and are important in food crop production. To help fight the decline in pollinators, Cuyahoga Falls planted this butterfly garden at the entrance of High Bridge Glens Park. It has a cute, butterfly themed rod iron entryway. Again, this garden is small, but if you catch it in bloom, I imagine it's magical. I did spot a baby monarch and that made me so happy! I loved the two signs on the property explaining what types of butterflies and flowers you might see. This would be a wonderful place to bring kids and help instill an appreciation for protecting nature. However, because this spot is small, keep that in mind during the pandemic, as it's not a space I'd care to share with anyone at all. I want to live in a world where our pollinators, particularly bees and butterflies, aren't at such a high risk of extinction. Great job to the City of Cuyahoga Falls!

There are really big windows all around the outside of the building, so wherever you sit you can see the metro parks outside. It has a fresh coat of paint, very neutral cream color. The ceiling is super high and gives the room a nice, open feel along with the cream colored metal rafters. You cannot have alcohol at events you have. There is a kitchen that's a perfect size for getting food together for a party. There are very clean restrooms indoors. Outside the room there is a large area for kids (or adults I guess ) to go outside and play. I really enjoyed the wedding shower that we attended here! I would recommend it for an event for sure.

There's a new pier where boats can pull up, and it's popular for swimming and diving too. The beach itself has a rustic, wooded feel. The swimming area is shallow to a point and then gets deep enough for real swimming. The biggest downside is all of the goose poop especially on the walkway that provides accessibility. There is plenty of parking and a playground for the kiddos.

Driving thru the park they have a lot of different activities - skate park, beach , hiking, and a wedding venue. We drove back to the beach area and there are beautiful views of the lake.
