I bought winter and all seasons tires and they store the ones I'm not using for a fee. This service I like. The workers work hard, are polite and friendly. My recent appointment to put on winter tires was not recorded as an appointment in their system and I was treated as a walk in (but didn't know this). Wait was long but manager apologized for the miscommunication and gave me a break on storage fee. Mistakes happen. I'll be back in April to swap tires again and it's less busy then so probably will be better timing. read more

Long story short: my tires had a slow leak and they told me I needed to get a brand new set of rims for $700. I went to another place, and they fixed the issue for $90. Words cannot express how disappointed I am in Discount Tire. In December of 2023, I took my car to Discount Tire because I needed 4 new tires. After they put on the new tires, I had no problems, and everything was fine. That being said, in the last 2ish months, I noticed that my front tires were always needing air in them. Every week I would fill them up with air, only to have them run low on air after 7 days. I tried spraying soapy water on the tire but did not see bubbles, and deduced that the inside of the wheel was corroded and needed to be sealed. I finally decided to take my car to discount tire and see if they could help. I took one of the leaking tires to the store and explained my problem. Right off the bat the employee told me that resealing the affected tires likely would not do much and that I needed to get new rims for ALL FOUR OF MY WHEELS. He said he would take my tire anyways and dunk it in water to see if there were any leaks, and then came back and said there were no leaks that the fix to my slowly leaking tired was to spend ~$700 and get new rims. He was quite insistent. This week I took my tires to another shop, and they were able to fix and seal both of the affected tires, for $90 total. The mechanic at this shop told me that the tires were in fact corroded, but that it was an easy fix. He also said that there was a weight INSIDE OF THE TIRE. Overall, he had a low opinion of DT and I have to agree with him. DT: When I purchased 4 new tires from you guys back in November, why did you not mention the corrosion on the rim then? Also, why would you tell me to pay $700 for new rims when in reality there would be a cheaper and simpler fix. The answer is this: you're greedy and use shady tactics to drive sales. For years my whole family has been going to DT and we have never had anything but a pleasant experience. We have spent thousands at DT over the years, but this was absolute BS. You guys have lost a once loyal customer, and you can be sure I'll be sharing this story with my neighbors and anyone who will listen. read more

Great tire prices but even with appointment seems typical to wait 40 minutes before car even gets in for routine tire rotation. Then the wait for rotation & balance service to be completed what's the point of even having an appointment? I would preface this by saying we were a loyal Discount Tire customer, and talked them up to friends and family. However, I recently was about to leave for work and noticed the front tire was completely flat. I woke up my husband to show him, he took the tire off and installed the spare so that the wheel could be dropped off and picked up later. The tech originally stated there was a small nail in the tire. He then took me to show some very mild oxidation on the rim and said that I would need all new rims. ~ almost $900. I ask about the "nail" and he then said he was mistaken that it was a small piece of glass. WHAT. He said it was ready to go. Three blocks away from the shop the low pressure light came back on. We followed the recommendation and ordered the rims online. The next day we were called and informed the rims chosen were now obsolete we changed to a similar choice. The following morning the tire was again completely flat! I took it to another local shop and who after removing a piece of metal from the tire and removing some type of sealing type of material around the rim, the tire has been fine since. They said the rims were completely fine and in no way need to be changed. I had to go to the store to cancel the rim order and I was reprimanded because they would have to pay for the shipping costs. I came back here because they did a great job installing new winter tires and wheels back in the winter. Came back and they charged quite a lot of money ($270) to swap my winter tires for summer tires and completed botched the install. They put the wrong tires on the wrong axles and they weren't filled to the correct psi. The most basic thing you can expect from a tire shop. Never coming back here. read more

As I bought 4 new tires in December I also got the road hazard insurance, just last week idk what was in the road but as soon as I hit it my tire went flat!!! The sidewall was broken! Service was fine and done within an hour. 1st tire change in the salesguy comes out to show me the "corrosion" around the bead where the tire meets the wheel. Proceeds to say that "it's only going to get worse then you will start losing air from your tires"...''No fix for this corrosion problem so let me show you some new aftermarket wheels that you may want to consider". Then, as he's showing me new wheels another sales guy comes out to a DIFFERENT customer with...you guessed it, this different customers wheel showing apparently the same kind of corrosion, go figure!. Tells him the same story, you wheels are corroding, you may want to consider replacing them soon...etc We live in a place where it snows and salt is used on our roads, ALL WHEELS WILL SHOW SOME TYPE OF SURFACE PITTING which generally causes no problem whatsoever. I had a Michelin tire blow out on I-75 in Stockbridge, Ga. on 1-15-24. I limped the car to Discount Tire at the top of the ramp and Desta Woodson took care of us. I called to schedule one for a tire rotation and told they weren't taking appointments and to just do walk-in because the afternoon was wide open. When I arrived they said it would be a 60-90 minute wait. I returned closer to the 90-minute mark and they hadn't even started. When all was said and done, it was closer to 2-1/2 hours. This time around I am getting a tire repaired from a nail on the highway and they are not even charging me. Not sure if it's a hidden service they offer but I am all in! These guys are amazing! Spent 10 min on the phone discussing what tires would be best for my 2015 Cadillac SRX. They recommended the Michelin Defender (I wasn't even looking at them prior to my call). They did a great job explaining the benefits. Had an appointment open 2 hours later so I stopped by. The store was extremely clean and EVERYONE was helpful and friendly. I sat outside and watched them put the new tires on my car. They were thorough and did everything right. They told me it would take 1 hour, however I was out the door in 45 minutes. I can't say enough great things about my experience. I've had the tires on my suv for 4 days and love them! I went to this location today because my tire was leaking air. Prior to today I was here last saturday and they filled all my tires and said if it happens again just stop by & they would look at the tire. Well I couldn't ask for better service. JImmy is who we dealt with, I think maybe he was the manager? Outstanding customer service he went and examined the tires, said I didn't need new tires, that they were good thru the upcoming winter, I had just purchased this suv used 3 weeks ago. They got the car in, took the tire off cleaned up the wheel, then put the tire in the machine with the laser found the problem and fixed it. Turns out there was a screw in the tire, they fixed it, cleaned area where the brakes are, and told me there was NO CHARGE! I couldn't believe it also the place was packed with customers who had appointments but they managed to help me. When I wanted to pay Jimmy? said no that's what we do! This is how a real business should be run! Very professional, never saw any unwanted pushes for merchandise. The whole staff was great! Will be back after winter for tires!
