Absolutely AMAZING service... Took my wife's car directly from a "service appointment" at an audi dealership, to Discount tire in monument, CO... A guy named Jeff was very kind, and efficient. After we left the car at Discount, Jeff called and informed us that the front left tire and back left tire needed changed, as they were unsafe to drive on (the Audi dealership did not even notice, or say a word about her tires being unsafe). EXCELLENT SERVICE! We were in the middle of a 2,500-mile roundtrip drive from California to Colorado Springs when we were surprised with the need to replace all of our tires. A family member suggested Discount Tire and we had a very good experience there, thanks to Jason. He immediately took care of the problem, gave us good advice and a reasonable (discounted) price on a full set of tires, and had us back on our way in just a few hours--with a warranty that transfers to our local Americas Tire location at home. The guys even put back the jack and spare tire in their proper places. I have been a customer of Discount Tire's Monument store for years. Recently I ordered new tires for my Tundra pickup and Lance travel trailer, and had them installed on 24 November. Ryan at the front desk was knowledgeable and friendly, and relayed my requests to the service bay where installation was very professional and expeditious. Went to the Monument DT twice in the last couple of weeks putting snow tires on both our cars. Both times were "snow storm" types of days. The walk-in lines were 20-deep because of all the last minute procrastinators like me. The DT crew was pleasant, cheerful, helpful, and patient throughout. They communicated with people in line, thanked everyone for being patient, and looked for ways to pop people through quickly if they were just picking up their car. The coffee was hot, and the store was super clean. As a small business owner, I know how hard it is to do that with a smile when you've got a bunch of instant-gratification people grumbling in line. They have Just fantastic customer service. On both visits, the tires were on our car in a few hours, and they called me a couple of times during the day to update me on progress. I know for a fact that sometimes they work late to get all the tires on the cars. Prices are very competitive. Definitely give them your business. read more

They are Fantastic. They are always so kind and explain everything very well. They really do go the extra mile. I first went there out of necessity for a flat because they were the only guys open and they squeezed me in during a very busy time and set me up quickly and we're very polite. I then thanked him and told him they were the best tire place if ever been to and he said they want to prove how great they are so everyone comes back. I have always had great service here! I often get nails and other punctures in my tires and they always are happy to help and fix my tire for free. Because of this great policy they have I always take my car back when I need to buy tires and the sales people don't try to rip me off or suggest tires out of my budget. I have been going to Discount Tire for a few years and do like their service. Prices are comparable to other tire companies. Service is decent depending on time of day and weather forecast as it gets crowded when a snow storm is coming. Israel is very helpful and remembers my family when we do go there. My only issue is the "upsell" of the extended warranty. Received a quote for almost a $100 for the warranty on four tires. I think that is expensive and to include the other fees and taxes makes it nearly $200 added on cost. That extra cost could buy a brand new top of the line tire. So when I was deciding against the warranty I was offered a lower price on the tire ($162 to $156). When I finally declined the warranty the salesman (Israel wasn't there) went back up to the original price. And now I feel like I get the "declined warranty" treatment and service. The salesman was nice but I get that "feeling." read more

After having a difficult time having Castle Rock discount tire balance my wheels, the monument store got it right after one visit. The people at the Castle Rock store were very courteous and my wait was very reasonable. I get annoyed when I hear people complain about waiting, it's a popular, Busy place. What do you expect? If a place does competent work, you are going to wait I don't care what you are dealing with. The best restaurants with the best food usually have a wait. Try going to outback on a Saturday night at 6 o'clock in the evening tell me how long your wait was. Incidentally my wait in monument was very reasonable as well, thumbs up to the monument discount tire store. read more

Less than year old set of tires approx 6k on the tires. One of the tires gets a screw in it. I take it to Monument, Colorado Discount Tire to repair because they "Fix Flats for Free" !The first guy tells me from just a visual on the vehicle that "it is possible that we may have to replace the tire" (which I thought was covered by road hazard.. I think "road hazard" is kind of like "Real" brand whipped cream). I go work out come back to pick up my vehicle. The bill is approximately 70$. I have to pay for the labor and for the pro-rated value of the tire and probably for disposal ! This is where it gets really good. I ask the man can I have my old tire ? He asked me "what are you going to do with it" I thought for a moment, (not telling what I thought) but said "I think I'll make a tire swing out of it". He said "ok I'll drill some holes in the sidewall so you can put your rope through". I then gave him a lecture on Socialist Democracy vs Constitutional Republic and the right to self determination. He said well if you put that tire on car and it blows out and you kill someone "I wouldn't be able to live with myself" I said that's not your call that's my call because it's my tire, it would be on me if it happened not you. He offered to give me new tire I said "no thanks" based on principle. Every time I go into Discount Tire I run into the same kind of Neo-Marxist rules designed to "protect me and others", which ALWAYS cost more money ! The road hazard means nothing it's just word, he actually tried to sell me some more road hazard "protection". If I need more protection I go to my cousin "Vinny" ... probably get a better deal. I'm done with Discount Tire, at Discount Tire you "dis count out more money" to give to them. read more
