There was a very long line to check in when I arrived for my appointment but luckily They held true to the appointment. My Daughter is a student and I recently bought her brand new tires from discount tire in a different state. The weather turned cold and she went to this store to have them add air to her tires due to the colder weather. A young person who was working the "air fill" station told her that her manager wouldn't allow him to add air to tires that were below 5/32nds in tread depth and her tires were 4/32nds. Just 6 weeks earlier, we put new tires on this car! The tires were not even 2 months old! She went to another store and they put air in the tires and said the tread looked brand new. Clearly this person was trying to take advantage of a young lady... and try to scare her into buying another set of new tires. I called and spoke with the manager, Caleb and told him what had happened and asked if this one person was trying to take advantage of a young lady or if that was his store's policy. He assured me that he would find out what happened and call me back. 4 days later I have not heard from anyone at Discount Tires. Please stay away from this store, don't support this behavior and support Caleb and his chauvinistic team. I can't believe in this day and age that this is allowed by a company like Discount Tire. read more

I brought in my car because my tire sensors had been coming on even after I had checked my tires' pressure. After I was told that there was a tread issue with my tires, I questioned the employee because it seemed too soon in the life of the tires. But I was assured that there was a potential safety issue. And the reviews of the store are so positive about this store being honest. I should have gone back with him to the tires and asked him to show me. I wish I had. After spending $1,000 on new tires, I left the store only to have the sensors come back on twice more. We made three more trips to the store. They replaced the sensors, indicated there might be a computer issue they would address with online support, but then today told us to go to a dealer--which I think is what they should have told us on that first day. I am now certain that we did not need new tires and that the only problem was the sensors. So, now I have new tires I didn't need, am out $1,000 and will need to spend more money to address the sensor issue. Nobody was rude to us, but they didn't address the issue. And, I'm sad to say, I don't believe they were honest with us on that first visit. My opinion is that they owe us for the tires or, at the very least, for the repair of the sensors we should have been advised to get to begin with. read more

I needed a tire so I ordered it online. They had actually ordered the tire which came in fairly quickly. They called me call me just to come in and they'll get it taken care of so I go if there is a year in a household, which is always with me. And they told me that there's over an hour away if I had an appointment to make sure you got any more quickly, but they literally told me on the phone and I didn't need an appointment when I asked if I could make one. So then I was screaming child he doesn't want you back in the car cause I just took her back out and I could probably been avoided if it's giving me an appointment or just let me come on my normal day in sometime me to come in and then making me wait over an hour over an hour. read more

Not impressed with this location at all. I previously purchased all four tires at a different Discount Tire location. I got a nail in my tire and luckily arrived to this store before closing time. I was told the nail was too close to the sidewall for repair. After I said I didn't want to buy 4 new tires as they recommended, I was told to go to El Camino Tire for the tire repair. El Camino Tire is less then a block away and gladly repaired my tire. If my tire was unrepairable as Discount Tire indicated, why did they send me to El Camino Tire? This Discount Tire was more interested in selling new tires than helping repair a tire I previously purchased from them. Very disappointing, and I recommend El Camino Tire. read more

So, I was needing some tires for my back since I did purchase my new tires with Tire Barn back in February. I had so much stuff going on Saturday, was trying to find a tire shop that was open on Sundays. So, thanks to Google I found that Tire Barn opens on Sundays. I decided to get my new back tires on Sunday Sept. 15th around 12:15ish in the afternoon. I actually chose a good time to get my tires done that day since for one it was definitely time for me to get my tires, and it was only a few people in on Sunday. I had a screw in my tire and this location was the closest one that I could get to. There was about 3 customers in line in front of me when I arrived about 35 minutes prior to their closing time. 35 minutes later, they was able to pull my car in and check the tire that had the screw in it. The employee explained that they would fix the tire of possible, make sure no other damage happened to the tire as well as check the pressure on my other 3 tires. The water cooler was empty and the Wi-Fi did not work so I could not work while waiting for my tire to be repaired. While out took about another 45 minutes, the employees did as they said they would and changed out the valve stem to make sure there would be no problems later. Cost was covered all under the warranty so I was happy despite the 3 Ws (wait, lack of water and Wi-Fi). Expect to wait for your tire service to be completed and you will be ok knowing that you saved some $$ for tires which are super expensive in the first place. read more

They can get busy so you can make an appointment or call ahead but I usually come as walk in (flat tires surprises ha!) and usually wait no more than 90 minutes. On a recent trip to Florida I blew 2 Michelin tires that were recently purchased at this location when I hit big potholes in Memphis and Nashville on the interstate. I had road hazard coverage on the tires but was not able to use it as we had to have the car towed to the Tesla dealer on both cases where the only option they gave us was to get new Pirelli tires put on. When I got back home I contacted this location and they told me that they would refund me the money I spent down there, take the Pirelli tires, and put two new Michelins on the car with my only expense being the purchase of the road hazard on the new tires. Caleb and everyone else there were great and I felt this treatment was extremely fair considering the circumstances. Really friendly staff, amazing service! I dropped in without an appointment on a Wednesday afternoon to get my tire repaired (I ran over a nail earlier in the week). I was quoted an hour and a half wait time and that's exactly how long it took. It turned out I had to replace the tire entirely, instead of just having it fixed. Like most places, they recommended me a pretty expensive option for the replacement tire first - but that's not uncommon with auto shops. I have mixed feelings about this place. I'm usually always happy with the service. That's usually not the case. It's convenient to my work area area and home location, but my issues arise with the price changes on the spot and the amount of time it takes to complete a job. Most recently I ordered tires for my Jeep. I was told one price then asked if I was trading my old tires in. I told them no and they said oh they had you as a trade in. Since you're not trading your tires in, the prices goes up. Not sure how that makes sense and they weren't offering a fair price for the tires. I let that go and just continue for my appointment, my car didn't get in for another hour after I was scheduled. Then it took another hour to put the tires on. So of course having an appointment then having to wait never makes you happy but again, service is always usually good. Just slow as turtles. read more

Have been to this location several times in the past. There always seems to be a wait. I waited 15 minutes just to be addressed. Then I waited an hour and a half to have a tire repaired. When they took my car back to inspect it, I received no communication informing me of the problem or their intention. The staff is inconsistent as far as courtesy and professionalism. I've watched some staff be very personable with customers, and I've experienced some staff who aren't friendly at all. But when it was done, come to find out they had repaired his damage tire and place it back on his car thinking he would not notice the difference. Made my appointment online, got there and the place was packed. I wasn't even sure if they'd get me done same-day, but they got me back on the road in about 90-100 minutes from the time I walked in the door. Everybody was super nice and explained my options. Yes, it's kind of a long time, but they get a pass because like I said, it's pothole season and they were slammed.Gotta give it up to Robert, Grayson, and Bill for being all-star employees. Last night Discount Tire came through for me again! We were on our way to dinner when we had a blowout just as we entered the restaurants parking lot. My son put on the spare tire and instead of having supper we drove to Discount Tire. It was after 5pm and the store closes at 6pm so I had doubts if we were going to be able to replace the tire until the next day. The service tech said it could be as long as 3 hours BUT he would fit us in. We were rolling in a little over an hour and even went back and had the supper we had planned on. I have applied for their financing and was approved for their credit card which is what I used to get my current rims. They are so knowledgeable here and they really try to beat the competitors prices. Their warranties cover most emergencies like nails and other unexpected things that may happen. Steve helped me in this trip I had a bent rim from a pot hole he told me that it will be cheaper to just buy the rim then fix it. So I did and it was delivered wishing 3 days. Stand out is Brian who acknowledges you as soon as you come through the door letting you know he or someone will be with you in just a minute. They are informative, they main wait area is clean and they get you in and out as humanly possible for the particular job they're performing for you.
