I had a fantastic experience at this Discount Tire location. On a Saturday afternoon, one of my tires kept losing air. A nearby shop told me they couldn't fit me in until Tuesday, so I decided to call Discount Tire on a whim--even though they were closing in a couple of hours. Tyler answered my call and immediately offered to get me in. He even checked me in over the phone so I wouldn't have to wait once I arrived. When I got there, the place was packed--cars coming and going nonstop, and the parking lot was full--but the team kept everything running smoothly. After about 30-40 minutes, a technician came out and told me my car was ready. I was surprised since I thought I'd need a new tire. He explained that corrosion on the wheel was causing air bubbles and the leak, and they fixed it free of charge. On a busy Saturday, that kind of service really stood out. Since owning a car I have got tired from Discount Tires. My most recent visit was for my 2014 Chevy Cruze. This car had tires almost 9 years old on them. They had outlived their warranty! But I had got all new tires with a 10 year warranty for less than $600. I was appreciative of Harry and the guys there for making my appointment very smooth. We've used this location before and trusted they would be fair and professional. Instead, another customer became impatient, threatened an employee, and then somehow got moved ahead in line. That sends a terrible message: if you intimidate staff, you get rewarded. Meanwhile, customers who were patient and respectful were pushed back. Completely unacceptable management of the situation. Well, I had to come in again today and this time there was another man working that was just as pleasant and helpful as last time I was here and basically anytime I go to discount tire everybody is so nice. Cal said I could go get lunch before staying but if I got back in half an hour I wouldn't lose my place in line. Yes, a Cinderella moment to get back on time. I'm throwing in some pictures of the guys that are really the unsung heroes in the back. They never have their doors down and it's 23° today. I know they keep moving, but you still get cold. Somehow they managed to still do a really good job in these extreme conditions and they're always busy that's for sure. Tyler just told me my truck would be done soon so it was very quick day. It never hurts though when you have to wait here as you can get your work done and drink lots of coffee that's very good. Let's be honest. We all love the free air checks. I first became acquainted with this Discount Tire during the pandemic when I needed air checks and found their process very customer friendly and consistent. As a wheelchair user who was still working, this became tremendously valuable to me and I came to really value Discount Tire. I've been to this Discount Tire on a handful of occasions for both paid and unpaid services - meaning for flat repairs/tire checks/air checks. I've always been treated fairly, respectfully, and effectively. In recent months, Discount Tire has taken to logging air check visits - a practice I'm not particularly fond of, however, I've accepted it as a low-pressure small price to pay for the service. A couple weeks ago, my tire light came on and I stopped in for a check. I got a couple tires inflated and went on my way. A few days later, the light was back on - my tires tend to deflate with temperature changes and I didn't worry about it initially. However, I quickly realized something more was wrong. I got out today and looked at my tire and realized it was looking really deflated. It wasn't quite flat, but I was nervous considering I have a doctor's appointment this week and return to work tomorrow after a long weekend. I didn't expect much when I drove up at 5pm. I figured I could get them inflated then maybe return on the weekend for a full inspection. By the time I arrived, however, it became apparent that one tire qualified as actually flat. It was about 5:20pm. They close at 6pm. Ugh. I was already planning how to explain this to my boss. Much to my surprise, they were quick to say they would help me out. They never even mentioned the time. They said it would be a few minutes. They even insisted I could stay in my car (my being a wheelchair user seemed to add a sense of urgency to making sure my car was safe. I was honestly REALLY touched by it). About 5:45 or so, I was pulled into a bay and my tire was checked. It ended up being a relatively quick fix and I was safely on my way with no charge (I hadn't understood this and actually sat out front a few minutes waiting to find out how much I owed - the guy who got me in finally saw me and came out and explained it). As I was sitting there, I was watching this team work. It was near official quitting time, but they were working hard as ever. They were working as a team. Everyone was smiling and there was no sense of a rush, though I'm sure some really wanted to get home. Whoever is leading this team? You're obviously planting something pretty awesome here. This was a definite above and beyond visit. They checked my air initially. They identified the problem. Despite limited time, they addressed the problem and made sure I was safe on the road. They did it effectively and affordably and with great attitudes. I've always been impressed here, however, this was so exceptional I felt the need to update my review (which was already a 5-star review). The last time I needed tires it happened suddenly and I wasn't able to come here. After today, I'll be doing everything in my power to make sure the next time I actually do because I'm not sure I've ever been treated so well, so compassionately, and so fairly by a tire shop. This past Saturday I went to Discount Tire to inquire about getting new tires. The gentleman that helped me name was Jonathon but went by Evan. He quoted me a price and I didn't have the money to get them at that moment so I was just gonna make an appointment and come back when I had the funds. He asked for the keys to go outside to observe my tire to see how urgently I needed them. And when he came back in he stated I needed them pretty bad and he also told me that one of the other customers paid for me a Brand New Set of tires!!!! OMG I was in shock I thought it was a prank but when I looked at Evans face I knew he was serious!!! I automatically burst into tears and so did Evan. He gave me the biggest warmest hug EVER!!!! I overheard he had to go check on his grandfather that was in the hospital and you could tell he was a little worried but he still provided the best customer service to each and every person. I think at that moment we both needed that BIG WARM HUG and the tears we shedded. I am still in disbelief and I just want to say THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! Made an appointment for 915, didn't pull my car into the shop until 1020.. what's the point of an appointment???? Then I see them take off my tires and go work on other vehicles, while mine just sits? Crews seems to work faster on vehicles that don't have appointments than those that do. Disappointed. I've been to this location several times for free air checks, tire repair, and rotation and balance. They are reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and I trust their assessment of my tires. Awhile ago, I had to get a new tire and because it came from them they balance and rotate all of my tires for free. My last visit they suggested new tires as my tread is wearing. Due to Covid, they have signs requiring masks, and the staff is wearing them as well. They have some seating set up outdoors. They have a designated lane to drive up to check in. For extra safety precautions they have you drive your car into the bay for repair. They will then have you drive it out when the service is completed, and they're good about guiding you. read more

This has been the discount tire that I been going to since I have moved back to Indianapolis. I have been pleased with my service here. This time I made an appointment online for my service needed. I really like that you are able to do this online rather than calling in because you get to do it at your own convenience. It was very easy to select this location, service, and time that I needed. When I arrived that morning there were a few people already there and I checked in right at my appointment time and was told my car would be the next car into the bay. Shortly after sitting down I saw my car being taken in, it only took them about 20 minutes for my routine tire rotation. The one thing I really like about discount tire is their complementary drinks while waiting, they offer bottled water as well as coffee. The only problem I had with them this time was I told them at my previous service they aired my tires up to 40 PSI which my car tires only needs 30 PSI. Even with me telling them that going into my appointment I realized after a couple of days that my tires were aired up again to 40 PSI. I did their survey that they automatically send you and noted that in there. I was called a couple days later and they left a voicemail because I was unable to answer. When I called back and asked for the manager I was put on hold for about five minutes and decided to end the called due to the long wait time so I never spoke with them regarding this issue. But will definitely remind him again the next time I have service done there, and will be sure to check before leaving the lot. read more

I had TWO tires that needed replacing due to Indianapolis pot holes!!! I got BOTH for under $20 because I had the hazard certificates. I was in and out in an hour on a Monday morning! I love the professionalism of the guys here, the lobby is clean and very cool. Everyone had masks on and chairs were spread out. This is the ONLY place I'll use for my tire service. WT?? I just got blindsided! Yesterday, I found a large screw embedded in my tire. Thankfully, it was causing a slow leak and didn't go flat. Late afternoon I stopped by a jiffy lube to see if they could fix it. They said the screw was too close to the edge of the tire and I'd need a new one. It would cost me $220 for them to replace it, after tracking down a tire at another location. Since I know just a tiny bit about cars, I told them no thanks, as I felt the screw-hole was repairable. I was able to make an appointment online with Discount Tire for the very next morning around 8 a.m. The kid who met me took one quick look at the tire and advised he could patch it up no problem and to give him 20 minutes. Once inside, the guy at the counter, Brandon, I think was his name, rang me up. Guess what it cost? Yup, $0.00! WT?! I was blindsided. I went from $220 to $0 within 24 hours. You can best bet I'm using sending any potential future business their way....at cost, of course. (On top of it I had removed the tire air valve cap and had it in my pocket. They thought it was missing and replaced it for me. They did not need to do that. It's the little things.) read more

Some of the best customer service I've encountered in Indy. With the current state of our roads, it's no surprise that Discount Tire is one of the busiest places in the city. They truly handle the increase in volume in stride. I visited one morning about a month ago with my dad, who hit two potholes and got two flat tires before 8 AM. The guy at the desk didn't even blink when he heard the story. They replaced all four tires within four hours, even with a long line ahead. My luck ran out a couple of weeks later. I went in with low tire pressure and ended up getting 2 replaced. I dropped my car off around 4:30 and was told there were TWENTY-TWO people ahead of me!My car was ready to pick up by 7 PM. It's never pleasant to have car trouble and tires can be expensive. Luckily the staff at Discount Tire are pleasant, honest, and quick. There's an open bay and no cars waiting to be pulled in besides myself. I'm curious as to why Mitch quoted me over an hour for a tire patch. It shouldn't take an hour to patch a tire. When leaving for my last bout of Christmas shopping, I realized my left tire was nearly flat. Initially I came to Discount Tire because it was close to my home. Tire was at 13 psi when it should have been 41 psi & also had a large screw causing the leak. Unfortunately, because the tire was so low, it had to be on the lift to repair. I had a brief wait before my car was ready for service. While waiting, I noticed they have an employee assigned to serve customers who need tires checked and filled when necessary. This is a bonus service that I've never seen before but certainly appreciate when tires low in the future. I needed 4 new tires for my SUV. I wasn't excited about to price tag..however I shopped around and the tires at Discount Tire were comparable to even Costco or Walmart including labor. The best difference is that they had tires to fit my car in stock- the other places did not. I tried to schedule an appointment via the website and it kept giving me an error (attempted a few times) so I just gave the desk a call and they were happy to schedule me for the very next day for 4 tires. They asked which tires I wanted and made sure to have them ready for me when my appointment time came so I didn't have to worry about them being already sold. Service was easy; curbside check-in and then they ask you to wait for a bay or pull directly into an open one. Since I had an appointment already setup I was able to pull directly into a bay. From there you get out and wait in the lobby (which was very spacious and lots of sanitizer present so I was not worried about social distancing). They let me know that it would take about 45 minutes and that's all it took! It was a simple process all around (except for having to call to schedule). I will say- if you can, book an appointment! There were a TON of walk-ins when I was waiting and they were so far behind on walk-ins it was about 3.5 hours before they would even be able to start for some people. The crew doesn't go home until all the walk-ins have been served for the day(even if they are closed and stop taking them at 6pm). read more

My husband and I have come in a twice and have had fantastic service! Each time we came in Zach has helped us. During our last stop in we had a nail in our tire but luckily had not been losing air. Zach immediately helped us. He took a look at the tire, pulled the nail out, and made sure the tire wasn't losing any air. Luckily, the small nail had been stuck in the thick tread and didn't puncture the tire. This may not seem like much, but we were helped immediately as we walked in and our tire was looked at right away. Surprisingly, they first showed me the tires that came with my car and the ratings on them, and then showed me SOMETHING CHEAPER with better ratings for the conditions that I drive in. They didn't have all 4 tires in stock when I was there, so a few days later they called me and we scheduled an appointment for them to replace the tires. I've been sitting here for 4 hours with my seven year old daughter waiting to get my tires changed. My car has been in the parking lot just sitting and has not even made it into the Bay Area! I keep asking when are they going to start working on my vehicle they keeping giving me random times but never living up to the promise. I am extremely disappointed and definitely will NOT be coming back. I've come many times without an appt and I've waited MAX an hour before I've been seen.
