I purchased 4 tires to be shipped to this location ahead of my Monday installation appointment at 8 AM. In the meantime, I found the same tires at Walmart for almost $60 cheaper per tire. I called the store, and Matt was more than happy to help me with a price match. When I arrived for my appointment, Matt actually ended up beating the price, which I really appreciated! The staff here were all very kind, helpful, and informative when it came to my tires. The only downside was that I was under the impression the installation would take around 30 minutes, but it ended up taking about an hour and a half. However, considering how busy they were that morning, I completely understood and did not mind the wait. What really stood out to me was the customer service. Matt even called me the next day to follow up on my experience and make sure everything went well with the tire installation. read more

Super disappointed with this location. I have been here before and have had them help me out with my truck. Sadly, this location just dropped the ball all around this time. I was here last week getting 4 brand new tires installed. That went great (or so i thought) and over the next couple of days i noticed that the TPMS sensor never registered. I brought it back today and they told me that the sensors batteries were dead. I asked why they never checked and got the run-around. Then i was told it wouldn't take long to get new ones installed. 30 min later, i notice my truck hadn't moved out the parking lot, so i ask and the guy tells me that i am next up in line....1 hour later i am still looking at my truck in the same spot. I got up and ask for the manager and he apologizes and tells me they never should have told me that i was up next. He was really nice, but still, they literally WASTED my entire evening waiting on them to fix a mistake they should have caught the first time! read more

If I could leave less than one star I would, I got my BMW towed there because I got a flat while driving (my back right passenger). I already needed them changed so I bought 4 new ones at this Discount Tire. When I came in the morning to pick it up my boyfriend waited inside for 20 minutes just waiting for someone to tell him where the keys to my car were, after we got them the moment my boyfriend started driving out he said it was driving weird. We drove for 12 minutes on the highway, and he checked the tire pressure while we were driving on my computer screen in my car. The front passenger was at 11 psi, so we went to another discount and they said the valve was leaking. Had to sit for another hour while they were fixing it. I made this review because this discount has done this before, my suggestion is don't get anything done at a discount and if you don't especially not here. read more

The technician played with me because I complained that I got lost the special valve cap twice at other Discount tires. After the service, they told me my car loose 1 valve cap after balance the tires. I don't wanna argue with you guys about the valve cap but I know for sure there were no valve caps missing before I dropped the car at your shop. I checked. Don't play and treat the customer like that. Now I need to drop the car at other tires shop to check everything because I don't know what you guys are done on my car. Never use the service from Discount tires again. read more

I picked up a screw in a less than 1 year old tire that I had purchased Discount Tires' warranty on. It was a high pressure leak but unfortunately the tire was not repairable due to the screws location. This store was able to find me a replacement for this hard to find tire size in another Houston store and had it shipped here the same day costing them $20. I went in the next morning and they had it replaced in about 20 minutes with no cost to me. I have been a fan of DT for over 10 years now. Their prices are very competitive, they are open 6 days a week, customer service is always excellent and they offer free air refills. All you have to do is just drive up. Huge shoutout to Dylan C. at Discount Tire! Before I even made it inside, he came out and greeted me like they'd been expecting me, I've never experienced that kind of service at any other DT location. Usually, I'm stuck waiting around, but Dylan was on it from the start. Super professional, fast, and made the whole visit feel personal and easy. 10/10 service! read more

These guys, like any Discount store I have gone to, have excellent service. I have not used anyone else for my tire needs in 20 years. If you live in any sizable city in Texas you will find numerous stores so it makes service an easy thing. I came in for a leaky tire to be fixed. They always scan the tires for low tread when I get service there for my safety and potentially their register. It didn't take that long despite they always having a waiting are full of people because I made an appointment on their mobile app. You have to do that. read more

I had an I had bought all my four tires here and had an incident with one of my back tire making pop making my car swerve and making my other back tire go a bit bald because all the weight of my car was on that one tire after the tire popped. They refuse to change both tires and even took off my warranty coverage from the tire that was still not popped in the back saying that I had to change it because it was an alignment issue having a new car. My car is aligned after that they refused to rotate my three tires that apparently won't make a difference, insisting I buy a new tire for the one they took my warranty off for them to be able to work on it don't think it's fair for them to take off my warranty off my tire that was messed up after the other one popped which caused that one to be messed up read more

I had them come out to do mobile install for four new tires. The staff I spoke with on the phone and the tech were all very nice and courteous however the tech that did the install chipped the black coating on my wheels in a few places. The tech said the coating was not durable and that he used appropriate care when installing. I contacted the dealership I originally had the wheels coated and they said it should not have happened and only careless installation would have caused it. I'm not an expert in wheel coatings and tire installation but one thing I do question is why would the tech keep installing on the three other wheels after the first one began chipping without letting me know? I strongly advise that if you have any type of coated wheels to not use their mobile install service and look for a safer touch less install option in a store. read more

Leaving this here since the location on 10727 north freeway doesn't have the option to leave a review. Probably because they're so bad. The experience was horrible, the music in their garage was blasting hip hop music to the point where it was hard to hear or even communicate. I came in with a flat tire two days in a row. They finally looked at my tire on the second day. It was a quick 2 minute look in their parking lot then they said there was a screw on the side of my tire that they couldn't repair and that I needed to replace all four tires. I decided to come to Costco for a second opinion/quote and they lifted up my car for a thorough analysis. They determined that I didn't have a screw at all in my tire and that they could patch it up for $10. They also said the rest of my tires were in great shape. I left discount tire feeling lied to and will not be returning. read more

I had the worst experience ever at this discount tire and I will never return, thanks to Julio. I got a flat on 290 and barely made it to this shop. I walked in and wasn't greeted or acknowledged for the first 5 mins. Then Julio said I'll be right with you. He didn't greet me at all. Just asked what was wrong. I told him I had a flat. We went to go look at it. He scanned his device across all 4 of my tires and told me I needed 4 new tires. I drive a 21 dodge charger with 25K miles and the tires are under warranty with the dealer. When I tried to explain this he scoffed and told me the dealer would not cover these tires because of the wear and tear and was adamant that I needed to buy 4 new tires. I said bro I came in here with a flat. Not to purchase 4 new tires. Is there anything you can do to help me get back on the road? He said well your car doesn't come with a spare. I said alright then man. Thanks for you me unwillingness to help. So I got out the air pump and sealant that came with my car. I've never used this thing and I'm not a tire mechanic. Bro just stood there and watched me struggle and try to figure out how this thing works. I got really annoyed and stood up and asked him his name. He said my name is Julio. Why do you want to know my name? I said I like to know who I'm talking to. He said is your name Steven? Is this you? And he showed me all my information on his little device. Like he was trying to be a tough guy. Bro is real lucky I didn't smack it out of his hand but I let it slide. I said do you know how this thing works? He said no. After I struggled for a while he changed his tune and tried to help but didn't even know how to work the pump. He said let me go see if there is a spare we can sell you to get you back on the road. He came back with 2 used tires for $100 each. $100 for used tires??!? I said no thanks I'm good. After this whole fiasco I called the dodge dealership. They sent a tow truck and picked up my car for free. The next morning I picked up my car from dodge with 2 new tires on the back for FREE. ALL COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. Like I tried to explain to Julio. I asked if I needed to replace the two in the front. They said not at all. That there is plenty of tread on the tires. Come back in 10K miles and they'll replace the other 2 for free. Julio offered terrible, arrogant, and disrespectful customer service. He clearly doesn't know anything about tires, about my car, or about my warranty through the dealer and just wants to bleed customers dry. He is an embarrassment to this company and I'll never return. read more

I scheduled an appointment through the manager and came by to have my tire pressure management system repaired because they broke the sensors last time I got new tires. I have now been standing here for 30 minutes with two employees walking by and saying "are you picking up a car?", to which I replied no and they proceeded to ignore me until I left. No one should ever come here. For anything. Poorly managed, poorly staffed, just a terrible experience overall. read more

I will say everybody looked pretty busy however I made an appt for 8:15am which was the earliest appt. I needed new tires however they did not have them instock. They said they would order and have them delivered. I paid for the tires upfront and I was told they should be in around 10:45 am. I received a phone call that they were in, I returned around 10:30. I was quoted it would take about 30-40mins. After an hour I seen my car had not moved and was still in the parking lot. I then asked when will it be done, which made them start on it. I honestly felt that they forgot. Everybody seems fairly nice. I just wish somebody would have at least updated me if they were behind or apologize that they forgot. I told them before they started that I had to be at work at 12. It's past 12 and I'm still here. read more

I bought 4 new tires had an 930am appointment and it was 1020am before my car got took back! I was told my car would be next but I watched as 3 different cars go back. I asked if I needed to come another day and then my car finally went back. Minutes later I was told one of my sensor's was broken off and needed to be replaced $60 for that! Spent almost 500.00 and did not walk out till after 1100am! So I gave 3 stars.... Yelp works! So 15 minutes or so after my review the manager Kevin called me and asked me about the situation and was very nice and respectful and wanted to rectify the situation. Now I can say this business earned 5 stars! Thanks Kevin Kainer great customer service now I am a satisfied customer! read more

There was some confusion with a replacement and then an additional repair/replace but it all worked out in the end. I have mixed feelings about this place. While they always are great at checking your tire pressure and adding air for free while you wait in your car, coming in for service is a different story. I didn't call and make an appointment, so I found myself sitting in the waiting room for a while. That place is hopping busy at lunchtime, and the man who helped me out was incredibly kind and smooth. I mean, the man has customer-service skills to brag about! And it wasn't just me he was good with - I listened to him interact with customers for an hour, and he was professional, courteous and beyond helpful with everyone he interacted with. Turns out he's the manager! Shout out to Matt Cain! I was impressed with him then. Then I had an issue that led me to return, and I was even more impressed with him today. He addressed my issue, solved it to my satisfaction, and took care of it immediately. Someone in the upper echelons of Discount Tire reading this? Give Matt Cain a raise. He's golden. read more
