All I gotta say is this store allow their staff to LIE to the customer. I came in to the store because my low tire pressure light came on. I ask a guy in a black jacket in the store could I get air in my tires. He said sure go outside and pull behind the black truck and you will be taking care of. Then a young guy came to me. Three hours from home, got my second flat in 24 hours (in my spare). Called the closest place (Belle Tire) and they told me they were too guys and said I should get a plug kit from Walmart. Called this Discount Tire and Morgan told me to head over and they would take care of me. Got the car there and they got me in an out in about an hour even though they were pretty busy. After returning (not using that vehicle at all) I checked the tire pressures and saw one tire inflated to 55psi on a vehicle that recommends 33psi. I believe this is a SAFETY hazard and can also damage the tire. When I spoke to the store manager, ray scrivener. he blamed a faulty air pump and offered to "check the air in the other tires" and offered no other remediation. I am concerned about the integrity about that tire which was dangerously overfilled. I have relied on discount tire and that particular store for years but I will not be back. So they used to have this great service where you could pull your car up and they would check your tire pressure and top off the tires, that way if there was an issue with a leak or something, you could monitor her for a couple days and take it in to get your tire fixed. That is one of the main reasons why I had previously gotten my tires done there. When today there was no line pulled up to the door, no one opened it. I walked around and was told to pull up to a different spot and then no one came to help. No one said hey it'll be a few minutes. Their customer service is on zero now. This place is full of you know what. Even if you have an appointment you'll wait for hours if you're not making a cash purchase. I brought my car in with a TPMS issue and a tire that needed flat repair. They put my car on the rack and determined I needed all four sensors replaced. But when I told them I couldn't afford the sensors, they took my car off the rack and let it sit out in the parking lot for an hour and a half before they fixed the tire. This is BS. Absolutely terrible experience. If you're thinking about making an appointment here, don't bother it means absolutely nothing. I showed up early for my scheduled time, signed in, and still watched them take multiple walk-ins and "priority" customers ahead of me just because they were paying for more expensive services. I was greeted with a fist bump and a smile, I met with a pushy "Sales associate" (Luke) exactly what he is, after I refused multiple times of buying 4 brand new tires because ONLY ONE of my tires had a blowout...His smile quickly faded and I wasn't seen for another 3 hours and got pushed to the back of the line. What's the point of having an appointment system if you ignore it? It's disrespectful and a complete waste of people's time. I thought coming in early and actually following the rules would matter, but apparently not at this location. They prioritize whoever is spending the most, not the people who took the time to book ahead. If you want fairness, reliability, or even basic customer service, look somewhere else. I went to discount tire on Ford Road on 2/10/26 because a nail was in my back driver side tire. I went in at 4:15 p.m. and didn't leave until 6:30. They close at 6:00. I believe I was purposely waited on last because I was NOT the last customer to come in. They didn't drive my car in until 5:45pm. When I finally looked through the window, my right tire was off. I questioned why the right tire was off. I was told they "made" some type of valve for it?????? When I told them I had a nail in my driver side tire (left) I was told "oh we can do that for you very quickly". I believe the person who waited on me was angry I didn't buy windshield wipers. I was told that I needed new ones because one was broke. I asked how much they charged he said $21.99 per wiper. I said "no, I'm just concerned about my tire and I didn't spend that much when I got my oil changed" ($24.99 for wipers). HE SAID, 'THAT'S WHY THEY BROKE. BASICALLY SAYING MY WIPERS WERE CHEAP. WTF DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH HIM OR MY TIRES? HAD I BEEN A MAN, HE WOULDN'T HAVE SAID THAT. Had I not looked through that window, they would have never fixed the correct tire. However, if you are going for a free tire rotation, to get a free TPMS, or get a free flat tire fixed, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! They greet you with a smile and a fist bump and tell you that you will be prioritized because you have an appointment and then you will sit in one of those chairs and be forgotten about for the next 3 hours. I went in on a Saturday and had a 10AM appointment to fix a tire that had a nail in it. The woman seated next to me had a 9AM appointment and her car was still sitting in the parking lot at 11:30. Great service during a tire emergency. I was cruising down Ford Road on a beautiful sunny summer morning when my tire monitor blinked onto the dashboard indicating that my tire was going flat in a flash! Luckily, I was able to pull into a nearby gas station before the pressure went to zero. My car is not equipped with a spare which I would obviously need. I put in a call to my road service provider who quickly arranged a tow. Not familiar with the offerings in the area, I asked them to search for the nearest tire store. They found Discount Tire and said the tow truck was on the way. While I waited, I placed a call in to Discount Tire to ask if they had a tire that would fit my vehicle in stock. I was now in a frazzled but I was met with a kind voice on the other end of the phone assuring me that I would be totally taken care of. When I arrived at the location the gentleman who answered the phone greeted me and picked up the conversation where we left off, recommending different tire options that would fit my car. He went out to take a look and told me which tire would be comparable to the tires on my vehicle never pressuring me for a sale or to get the most expensive option. I selected a mid grade tire and was in and out in 40 minutes. The great, prompt customer service along with the comfy waiting room chairs and coffee helped to calm me down by the time my car was done! This review is for the Ford Rd. Dearborn location. I needed 2 new tires. So, being the "Loyal Discount Tire Customer" that I am, I went to visit Discount Tire, to see if they had any in stock? The service write-up person (Joseph), told me that they didn't have the particular tire that I needed, that it could be delivered from their warehouse. Great! Let's order me the 2 tires then! The tires arrived later that day. They called me, to schedule an appointment for the installation. How busy are you guys right now, I asked? "Oh...it's not that busy today", the guy (not Joseph), told me over the phone. I can wait until tomorrow morning too, it doesn't matter to me I told him. "Nope! I can get you taken care of today...how does 5 o'clock sound?" I told him that would be fine, and that I would be there. I arrived at 4:40 p.m., knowing that they close at 6 o'clock. Remember...it's only 2 tires being changed out on my vehicle! I walked into the entrance and immediately noticed how busy the lobby was with customers seated, waiting for their vehicles, and customers standing in line too. All of the service techs. were all running around in the Service Bays...because I assumed that they had just over an hour, to get all of the customers taken care of and get out of there? I finally get to the service desk and get Joseph again. I immediately told him that I had a 5 o'clock appt. for my 2 tires, that I could come back here first thing in the morning, because they looked Super Busy to me!?! He insisted that wasn't that busy there...that I had a 5 o'clock appt., and that he'd have me taken care of in 30 to 45 minutes...it's 4:50 right now. Fine I said...let's do it. I didn't leave Discount Tire until 7:15!! 2 hours and 15 minutes to have two simple tires changed out!! 2 tires! Honestly...They didn't even touch my vehicle until 6:38! They close at 6 too! Unacceptable. Totally Unacceptable! So...if by chance, Joseph is reading this review, or ANY other Service Write-Up Person there at Discount Tire, and the paying customer Suggests or Offers to come back in the morning, and you know damn well that you are busier than you portray yourselves to be...Take Them Up On On The Offer!! Really helpful place and service it's nice. I hate when something happens to my car, because I have no idea what to do or choose for my car. They were patient and showed me every option of a tire. Of course with only a 20$ difference I had to pick the most expensive one. I got there at 8 am there was a few people there and I think I waited around 2 hours. There was plenty of restaurants around my and a Tim Hortons walking distance that I decided to walk and wait there . Wish they had WiFi. I had to make an emergency stop there because of the whole in my tire, wish I would have asked around for prices like costo or sams because they are more affordable and great quality but I kinda blank and went straight there. This used to be my go to tire place. I have a tire that keeps slowly losing air so I made an appointment. When I showed up at scheduled time the employee and the manager both asked me what my back plan is if they can't fix tire and I said I'd probably buy a used tire and employee left and looked in the back and then came back and said we don't have any of that size right now but I can buy a brand new one (and this is all before even looking at my tires) I told him that I can't afford a new one because I'm on disability and he had to call the manager over and the manager told him to just put in the notes that if unable to fix tire doesn't want to buy a new one. So I had a tire explode on the freeway, looked like a defect but despite that still had to make a payment on a new tire being under warranty (less than 3 months old). Ordering a new one was easy, thus the 2 stars I give this location. Was told 2-3 days which was fine. By day 4 no call or email saying it arrived, I call and they said it came in the 3rd day but failed to call me so I go in and find out it's a 3 hr wait. I bought 4 brand new tires 400 dollars later and not only did 1 tire constantly go flat the other 3 were always low and the value stems weren't even long enough afterwards to put air in them and on 1 you can't see it at all. Who does that. Mounts tires with old value stems and worse ones that are the WRONG SIZE. Not to mention my abs light started coming on. I took it up there and im told the value extensions are on back order and I need 4 new rims? For 500. Really? you didn't even change the value stems yet a common change when you buy new tires and the whole reason I came back. The rims are not bent or cracked. One was corroded. Never again. My mechanic in Chicago was SO impressed that I got my tires at Discount Tire. My friend, who races cars for fun and goes through tires like no body's business, recommended this place for me. I got me some badass all weather Michelin tires that had a $70 rebate coupon on them. Cheaper than any other place I could find. The guys working at this particular one were SO friendly and SO wonderful. They did a great job, took us even earlier than our appointment. My only complaint is they didn't get the tires I ordered online... they wanted to measure the tires first. Being impatient, my mother wanted tires that day. I always buy my tires at Discount Tire. One of my tires was low, had to check air pressure. There's many signs that read different instructions making it confusing if never been here. I sat inside my car for about 20 minutes, nobody would acknowledge me. I decided to walk inside. I waited in line for another 10 minutes. I asked the worker how I go about getting air in my tire. He gave me different instructions than what was posted outside. I was enlightened. I moved my car. The worker was flagging me to continue moving forward, all while he's standing right in front of me. My dilemma was, should I stop completely, or should I run him over? After me pressing on the break he finally realized he was telling me to move forward while he was standing in the way.
