High pressure sales and lack of attention to detail made this a very unpleasant experience. Kept pushing to buy windshield wipers too, would not take no for an answer and eventually dropped the price to half of what he started at. Bought 5 tires and each tire had a different psi, yet all were 4-6 higher than the recommended 36 despite it being cold out. The spare tire cover was not replaced straight nor completely on the tire - that it would have blown off at highway speeds if I did not correct it. read more

Discount Tire is a national chain that competes locally with Belle Tire. Both companies offer great service on tire sales. But Discount offers more brands and has (usually) the best price. Plus, they will fix (plug) a flat at no charge. In the winter, tire pressure can drop 5+ lbs so always get your tires reinflated. You can stay in your car while they do it, free read more

This Discount Tire is always responsive and there when you need them. While replacing tires or getting a nail in your tire is never fun, it is good to know there is a local store with kind workers that will take care of you when you are in need. read more

Unfortunately, these people even can't take the wheel from the car. First time I visited them , they told me I have wheel lock and I need to go to dealership to take it off. When I was at home I checked (should've done it earlier) the wheels and there was no lock! I went where again next day to have wheels and tires installed. This time wheels was not the right size even though I purchased them at discount tire website and they were a good fit for my car according to website. This time I was offered to purchase another set of wheel, which I agreed to. I came there next time and they told me that wheels arrived but they are wrong even though over the phone they told me they will work 100%. In nutshell 3 visits to the store and I still have my old wheels, no result, just 6 hours in total of wasted time. I requested refund and never come here again... read more

Visited Thursday Oct 12 2023 9AM Discount Tire has always been a professional and positive experience for me at every location. My experience at this particular location on Haggerty Rd in Commerce Twp/West Bloomfield is exceptional. As I am entering through the door, an associate also walking in welcomes me and acknowledges that someone will be with me in a moment. Having many years of customer service experience myself, I know acknowledgement and communication is the best way to keep loyal clients. Within a minute a second gentleman walks into the front area and energetically greets me as well. This was Justin R. His positive friendly attitude is a perfect way to start anyone's day. He actually seems to enjoy his work. His professionalism, communication, politeness and accommodating positive manner can land him a job anywhere...so take care of him. Within 30 minutes of arriving for a tire rotation, Tyler smiles, thanks me, hands me my keys and tells me to drive safely. I noticed as I was waiting for my Honda Civic, the whole team there impressively works quickly, efficiently and knows the meaning of teamwork. The management has perfected how to keep the staff positive and trained admirably. I will look forward to making every appointment there. Also I will highly recommend this Discount Tire location to everyone. Sheri read more

Very kind staff and quick service. Will definitely be back for my future tire needs!

The service rocks at this tire place. I had a tire that kept going low. I took the car in and the staff looked at it right away. They removed a nail and I was on my way. The service was fast. The staff was courteous and professional and the waiting area was immaculate. I noticed that they have chairs outside for those who wish to wait outside. I definitely will add this to my list of recommended vendors. read more

Friendly and professional employees, a clean store, and transparent operations. I ordered a pair of tires the day before (to match a pair I'd bought months before), set an appointment, and they completed the service well within their promised time. They'll price match, too. Thank you to Dylan and Tyler for your excellent service! read more

Called in on short notice before the store closed, only expecting to leave the car at the shop, so they can work on it the following morning. Luckily, they let me and my family drop off the vehicle, and fixed it that night. All of this happened within the hour. read more

Had new wheels and tires delivered and put onto my Ford Ecosport but it didn't sound right so I made an online appt to have it rechecked. Got in right away and they found and corrected the problem: a loose cable (not their fault) and gave me a lug nut tool. Two service people were especially attentive and helpful, no charge and excellent service. I'll be back! read more

Thank you fellow Yelpers for steering me into this store. I used to be a Belle Tire guy but this Discount Tire store has definitely captured my future business. I came in on Good Friday needing 2 new tires. The store was busy and was going to close at Noon. However, the people at the service counter moved quickly through the line and I was promised to be out the door in 1:15. Everything was explained thoroughly and I never felt like I was being pressured to purchase more expensive tires. All my questions were answered. When my car was being serviced, they discovered (contrary to the computer stock numbers) that the tires I purchased were not in stock. I was upgraded without charge. The car was finished earlier then promised. I couldn't be a more satisfied customer. read more

( Haggerty Road, Commerce MI) Paid for 2 new tires, staff decided to put on 4 new tires after a misunderstanding mostly on my part , meant the first visit the tires where not available. I did not request this, it was their Business decision , and a good one, I'm now lifetime Discount tire customer. read more

Pulled in because I noticed a nail in my front driver side tire. Within minutes my car was on a lift being inspected. Within five minutes the problem was identified and they brought me back to show me. No problem I was told a fix would take just a few more minutes. I went back inside. Boom. Five minutes, maybe less, and it was done. I went to the desk to have the repair written up. I assumed that maybe it would cost $25 or a little more. When the clerk handed me my receipt I had my C/C pulled out. I asked how much do I owe. I was told no charge, just consider us if you ever need tires. I am grateful for the kindness of Discount tire. Just a note. This location is next door to a Belle tire. I had stopped in there first and was told they would need an hour to an hour fifteen minutes. Lots of guys standing around and few cars in the bays, but still way to long to drop in and wait. I did not ask how much I just went next door to Discount Tire- they were busy so I had assumed in my mind I was going to hear the same thing. I was shocked when they did the entire thing in 15 minutes. Easily earned the 5 star review. read more

Ive been coming here for years and they always treat my family and me well. Besides being knowledgeable and friendly, they're not afraid to fix something when they mess up. Minor things of course. But all around, nice establishment! read more

I've had my tires serviced, rotated and filled here for decades. I have always appreciated the level of service from this busy location. I recently had my Mustang taken here to fix a leak in the rear tire and had to replace all four (They were due for replacement; no hard sell) When I saw the new tires the next day, they looked larger to me than the Pirellis I had originally. I returned to the store to complain and Juliano took the time to explain that they were the same size and even show me the original tires that were removed, while being patient and non condescending. The tires ride great and I now understand why the new tires might look a little larger. I got an education on tires and left feeling valued and a lot more comfortable with the decision to go with Continentals. Thank you Dylan for the tire suggestion! read more

Great service. I didn't have an appointment but they worked hard to ensure they could get my tire changed out quickly. Clean and convenient area for me to get work done while I waited. read more

I've been here a few times and today was the first time I had a bad experience. I got 4 new tires put on, was $200 more than Wal-Mart quoted me, but Wal-Mart did not have the tires in stock and I didn't have the option of waiting as two of my tires were flat. When I picked up the car they told me they put the spare tire back. Well when I got home to see what was clunking around in my trunk all the way home, I discovered they put the spare back but did not bother to put it back in the plastic casing that protects it from rotting under the car. I took the spare out and enclosed it myself in less than 5 minutes, also put tools away that were rolling all over the car. For $200 labor they could have done this. Not everyone is able to climb under the car to fix this and that is why you I took the car to them. If wanted to do it myself I would have. Very disappointed today. read more

I was very Happy with the service I received. It has been so hot outside and all these guys were working so hard and so fast in this heat. I felt so bad for them, I just hope they get paid well. Drew, who I believe is one of the managers, was so professional, nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. He helped me with my warranty info and everything! They were so busy both days I had to go, and could've easily been short with customers or even rude, but they were all so nice and so helpful. If I had a company I would definitely hire Drew in a minute. read more

Having to have tires replaced because of potholes always sucks. However the staff at this locations made the experience very pleasant. My car was two months old with expensive Michelins on it. Good service and friendly staff. Very professional. I like this location and it's become go to place for tires

Steve and the crew really helped me out of a jam. I was winterizing my garden tractor, and one of the tires had a slow leak. I thought that I could fix it myself by putting in a tube. Mounting and unmounting a tire without the right tools is hard work! I couldn't get it to work. I took the wheel and tire down to Discount Tire, and they were able to get everything fixed in a couple of minutes. Great service. read more

How should I start this...last year, I bought a set of winter tires and have a set of summer tires stored in this location; and this year, I had a horrible experience with this store. ..Let me start with scheduling an appointment: When it was time for my summer tires change, I called the Store number and was waiting for an associate to pick up; meanwhile, there is a record advertisement on the phone saying "now you can schedule an appointment online." Oh, that was convenient, so I hanged up the call and scheduled an appointment online about a week ahead. When I went into the store for my appointment, I waited 40 minutes in line and finally got to speak with the associate. However, I was told that online appointment will not work for summer tires change, it doesn't automatically notify them to ship my summer tires from the warehouse to the store. I was okay with it, and order the summer tires along with a new set of wheels for the summer tires. I explained to the associate that I will use the set of wheels on my summer tires, and the associate was helping me to select the wheels. Everything was set, and I left and wait for their calls. I waited for one week but heard nothing back; so I called the store, and the associate told me that the new set of wheels is already arrived at the store. However, they have to check on my summer tires, and they will give me a call back. I waited for two days, and never got any call from them. So I called the store again, then another associate told me again that they will have to look and find my summer tires and give me a call back later. This time I did receive a call back from them, and I was told that they couldn't find my summer tires...somehow, they are MISSING in the warehouse. They will need to order a set of stock summer tires for my car...also, they told me that the set of wheels that I ordered, will not work on my summer tires because the rear wheels are wider than the front. But I already told them that I am going to use them with my summer tires... 3 Weeks later - I have no summer tires, and the set of wheels that I ordered will not work with the summer tires...and i am still driving my car with the winter tires on. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but I found the lack of customer service and integrity appalling. I came to replace my tires and ended up getting talked into spending $900. Kevin was extremely pushy to begin with and I should have known to walk out then. After the job was completed I had a sensor not reading. I was told drive it for 30 minutes it will start reading again. A week goes by and still nothing and I keep getting errors. I bring it in and ended up dealing with Kevin again. He said sensors just go out and it's usually about $200 or so but he would offer me 50% off. I explained that I didn't have issues prior to getting new tires installed and I would not be paying it. He argued that if they "somehow" forgot to put the sensor back in that, that was the only way he would take care of it. Another gentleman worked on it and had found that the sensor had been snapped upon install. Kevin visible got mad at him for telling me and when he came to talk to me he stated that the sensor was not reading still and "this one was on him but only this one time" I said "oh I was already told that it was snapped on install". He looked shocked and tried to play it off that it wasn't true, that he saved the day and somehow it was just coincidence that it quit working. Everyone else was amazing and more than willing to help. It just goes to show the impact one person can have on the representation of a company. Because of Kevin I will be canceling my road hazard warranty and will not be returning. read more

I would give this location zero stars if possible.after being a loyal customer for close to 20 years, this location had me wait an hour and a half for what is usually an easy repair. I had a screw in a tire I bought from them that was still in the green on their measuring chart. They took the tire off the rim and found a previous repair they said was done by someone else. They said they could not repair the screw because someone else had done another repair in a different area of the tire. They already took the time to take the tire off the rim, so they tried to sell me a new tire! You can't be kidding me! Handsome to just remove the screw and they refused. This location is ridiculous. The Novi location is hands-down benner at customer service. All these guys wanna do is sell new tires. Helping a customer is secondary. I will never go here again, and recommend no one else does either. To wear his hours of my life I will not get back. read more

Great service. They staff was very helpful and thorough. They workers were quick but did not appear rushed.

I was in town this past weekend for a family wedding and discovered that evening that one of my tires had a slow leak. Brought my car to Discount Tire the next day and they successfully extracted a huge shard of wood from my tire and plugged it up, free of charge. No complaints whatsoever - except that there are no Discount Tire locations locally for me, otherwise I'd gladly provide them with future business! read more

This location is slow and has poor service. They try to sell tires when you don't need them. We love the Novi Discount tire and will not be going back to this location. read more
