I have FWD.... I told the associate I was calling my dad and he got an attitude with me. My dad told the associate it was NOT an awd. They did not have my warranty saved on file either. the only reason they did not charge me for the tire was because I produced the warranty receipt. They finally replaced just the one tire. Went in with zero vibration issues. Made the mistake of buying tires from these guys. Now I'm out $650 on brand new tires that ride 80% worse than previous tires. Discount tire says 2 wheels are bent, so how did that happen? Had zero problems before discount tire, now have bad new tires plus bent wheels. I would really struggle to ever do business with Discount tire after bending my wheels, plus selling me terrible tires. Would strongly not recomend. read more

Thanks to Oscar and Nakoma My experience was a lot better than I expected. Oscar is a real professional as salesman and customer service , I definitely see him becoming a store manager. They gave me a price match on Walmart's price ($50 cheaper ) and on top of that they gave me half of the $20 dollar special going on for the Michelin tires. In total they save me $60 for each tire a total of $240 . Who doesn't love to save money. I definitely making this shop my place to go every time I need tires. Keep up the great job guys. I went to the discount tire in albuquerque nm to get 4 k03 tires for my 23 2500hd siverado and they put the wrong milage on my paper work. I have 20,160 miles and they put 6,160 on the paperwork. The guy told me that it didn't matter, I said the warranty is good for 50,000 miles and you just put 14,000 miles on the tires and it hasn't even left the shop.it does matter. So he fixed it. Then I got in my truck and the wheel lock for my truck is there but the one for my rv is missing. They found it in the shop and told me they didn't know what it went to. Then I went to leave and my truck is telling me the tire pressureis low. I wanted 70psi and it was 75,75,63,and 36psi. For $2,200 I would hope to get better service. read more

So earlier in the week I had a nail in my tire. I put off getting it checked through the week since I was busy working. After I got my Vaccine I went to the dealership since my tires were still under warranty to be told the tire couldn't be fixed. In disbelief and irritation wondering if I really had to buy a new tire I went to my usual go to Discount Tire. My last visit was precovid with my other vehicle I had then since I'd gotten my current car last year there was no need for me to return. The boys at Discount tire always are prompt with service as soon as you pull in the lot. Due to COVID they now have you pull in and contact them or meet you at the posted sign. From there you'll pull into the bay yourself which that was new. Anyways, these guys checked my tire and were able to fix it without a problem. That will be the last time I get my tires serviced from the dealership let me tell you! So disappointed they tried to sell me a new tire instead of fixing it. The boys at discount never let me down and that is why I've been a loyal customer for years now. All my vehicles I've gotten tires and even rims once from them and they have never let me down! Honestly never had anything go right with this place.. I usually dealt with the ignorance, pressure, and long wait times due to the fair price of tires for my stupid little Prius at the time. However one visit after a blown out tire was the last straw. I had my little hybrid towed over to discount early in the morning. At the counter, salesman guy tells me that all of my other tires are ready to be replaced (I'm a girl ok I'll drive on bald tires til I die ig. I'll be damned). Anyway he offers to get me 3 tires for a deal since they had them in stock right that second. Well obviously I didn't listen.. cause I already was planning my rejection. Anyway I paid for my new tire.. waited, and then drove my car to my exes house. So in conversation I'm telling my ex man about how I guess my tires are all garbage. He takes a look, has this dumb look on his face, (he usually did tbh) and says they look nearly brand new, that salesman guy didn't know what he was talking about. I shrugged it off. So 2-3 weeks later, my tire light is on.. but a new (uncommon) feature is that it is screaming at me with fury in its soul. So obviously I take it back to Discount. The guy at the counter tells me that it seems the sensor was broken off......which to me translates to "my employee broke off ur sensor that will be $45". So.. I guess dude just popped it off? I didn't get a replacement or anything.. That part of the story is lost in the anger and shock that was to follow. (Lol you thought it was the sensor). So as I'm paying at the counter, dude had this dumb look on his face and said "ah... I remember this vehicle" and says "so when you had your tire replaced, you paid $98 for the one tire, however the salesman ordered 3 to be placed on your vehicle. So how would you like to pay?" I stood there in shock and said "we'll be in touch" and left. I just got 2 new tires for free? And no one called me immediately after I left? (They had my phone number lmao) I've been wearing these bitches down for 2 weeks after the initial mistake. You've already disposed of my old tires, didn't make any contact with me, and bring it up when I come back for a different issue you caused? No. So the next day I get a call from the manager. He asks me when I plan to come in and pay my $200 some balance. I say I'm not.. Because it's your responsibility to reach out to your customer if they walked out with $200 worth of tires.. the same day! I've been driving and wearing these mfs down for 2 weeks.. I took a whole road trip (and honestly I wouldn't pay full price... they're used and depreciated now......right?) They weren't going to contact me about the issue anyway, they just decided that because I came back, they could trap me into paying for something I didn't want in the first place.. because I couldn't afford it. End of the conversation ended with him saying he would let me "keep" the tires.. Never ever going back here again. Ever. I tell everyone to stay away from this specific Discount Tire. Had an appointment to rotate and balance a set of new tires I bought from this store on 09/26/2012, with the extended lifetime warranty. Well, they didn't honor the warranty. Stated it is a 10 year warranty, wow, nothing on my contract states that. So, I offered to pay to have my tires rotated and balanced and they REFUSED to touch the tires unless I'm buying a New set of tires. What in God's name is going on here. You charged me extra for the warranty then tell me it's no good after 10 years. There is nothing on the document I have that states this limitation and I offered to PAY for the rotation and balance. Came into day to get some air on my back tire. It was very low. Apparently I had driven over a nail. The tech could not full with sir because it was below .15. So I checked in to have it fixed. Either a new tire or a repair. There were a few customers but not to crazy. I figured I wait for the repair. Well I'm into my third hour now. The sells clerk was clearly into helping the new customers for get about your repeat customers. Since I was not able to drive my car out I ended up changing the tire with my spare. When we arrived Dominique helped check us in and said no problem when we asked if they could put the new tire on the rim, remove the spare, and put the new tire on the trailer. This review is for the Discount Tire store on Coors Blvd and Fortuna, in Albuquerque, NM. We called the store as we were driving in from Texas regarding an issue we had with a broken rim. We needed a tire dismounted from the cracked rim, placed on a spare steel rim after dismounting a tire from it first. So basically two dismounts and one remount and balance. Plus I needed them to crawl under my RV to remove the cracked rim and tire. We got an appointment for later in the day and arrived a little early. They helped me maneuver my large RV through the parking lot and worked to complete the tasks. Brian, who seemed to be in charge organized everything. But he also went above and beyond by contacting someone he thought might be able to find me a spare rim to fit our RV for our trip home. The tire/rim is an unusual size. He contacted the guy and arranged for us to meet on Monday, providing an address and the name. Anyway, I was impressed. These are great guys. They'd definitely have my business if we lived in Albuquerque. read more

The right side tire on my trailer went flat due to a giant bolts penetrating the center of the tire. I was driving 60mph on I-40 at the time and had to drive a while to merge to exit the freeway. The tire dint blow not it was obvious the side wall was damaged. I put the spare on and drive to Discount tire on West Coors and Dominic helped me out. Because the side was was damaged due to driving on it flat the mfg warranted was not going to cover the replacement of the tire only a repair. Repairing the tire in this state with sidewalk damage would have posed a hazard of potential tire rupture at highway speeds. Dominic knee it would be a hazard and replaced the tire for free. They told me that they were going to have the hole patched and that my car would be ready in a couple of hours. When I got back to pick up my car, I have found out that the tire was unrepairable because they screw had gone into the side wall as well. At this point I was getting worried that I was going to have to buy a new tire but the team at discount tire was amazing! They Not only ordered a new tire since that particular tire was out of stock but they put a loaner tire on my car so I could go about my day and not have worry about getting flat. Okay so a few things off the bat: 1) Dude's quote time was about 45 mins off. 2) He analyzed my tread, showed me a solid infographic and 3) There was good information about the safety of your vehicle and if you can only replace 2, make them the back ones. They fixed a flat one, well one leaking air, for me for free. The dude also seemed concern for my well being, only thing I didn't like was that I felt pressured for a CC. I'm trying to pay down my debt dude, not add more. I saw the infographic about 2 instead of 4, and one about how manufacturers recommend replacing all 4 at the same time. Not going to do that, but will be coming back later. My family has been coming here since I was a kid, and that Pizza Hut used to have a buffet, where we'd go to lunch. Idk? I've been using Discount Tire for years and I always leave more than happy with my experience. They always treat me kindly and take care of me quickly. When I have a flat they usually fix it for free. If I need my tires rotated or simply just some air, they take care of me at no charge. Today I went in to replace all 4 tires after being long over due for some new ones and they had everything done within 45 minutes.
