I'll be back for an address marker stone one day for our home. I've seen their engraved items around CdA and at the Spokane Airport's entrance and had wondered who did that work ... now I know.

I am in disbelief over some of the low reviews for Northwest Fence in Spokane Valley. I made a…read morecouple of calls over several months to ask about automatic gate openers, and Josh always took my calls and was so helpful in guiding me to purchase a Liftmaste gate opener instead of one of the cheaper brands. It was obvious that I was not going to purchase from them (they sold only high end equimpment)- yet he still spoke to me as if I were a paying customer on a couple of occasions. After purchasing a Liftmaster online from another company and installing it myself I ran into alot of problems. I needed local help and there did not seem to be anyone that had the expertise that Northwest Fence did with automatic gate openers. I called Josh and explained my problem, and to my surprise he had a gate expert at my Ranch the next day. He evaluated my installation, and spent almost an hour with me troubleshooting possible problems. They did not charge me for this visit, and honestly- MOST companies would charge for a service call. The expert that came out (who preferred to be un-named) was very kind, and sympathetic to the mess I had got myself into- got me on the right track to solving my problems. So, I dont know who the people writing low star reviews worked with, but the professionalism, kindness, and depth of knowledge exhibited by Northwest Fence, in my opinion was 6 stars. I hope for the chance to work with them in the future. If you are considering a fence or gate opener- I hope you will call them. In my experience, this is a quality company, and they hire (and keep for years) employees that will take good care of you. How often to you come across that kind of business these days?

Bargain Hunt is essentially an overstock location for huntwood cabinets (fancy cabinets). They also carry their own line of Shaker cabinets that appeared to be very well built. With a couple projects in mind I came here with a friend to see what they have. I was super impressed! When you walk in it looks like a standard cabinet store with some really nice layouts and some beautiful kitchen setups that I can't afford! You can walk back into a large Warehouse area where all the items are for sale. They have a huge selection of hardware and the best prices I've ever seen for nice slider hinges. They have 15 inch sliders for $12 and you can upgrade to the soft close for an additional $10. I've typically seen these in Home Depot type stores for closer to $40. They also had a bunch of bathroom and kitchen cabinets that were returned for whatever reason. If you can make them work for your situation then you can get an unbelievable deal on a high-quality set of cabinets. They also have a big room full of drawers that have been returned or not used. Any size is $8, but they are not finished - essentially a nice plywood box. In my case I'm going to use them to make pull-out shelves in a pantry. There are also tons of different types of trim and molding litter for sale. You won't be able to beat the prices, but these may be older styles..... if that matters to you at all. Many of the styles are pretty classic and you'd never know that they weren't still in production. If you're willing to do a little bit of work yourself and need high-quality materials at very reasonable prices, then Bargain Hunt is the place for you!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Northwest Granite has been extremely…read moredisappointing from start to finish. Communication was awful at every level. Any time I raised concerns with the project managers, they were quick to blame me for delays and became defensive and aggressive instead of listening. At no point did anyone take ownership of the issues I was experiencing--I felt constantly questioned, doubted, and talked down to. The demolition crew that removed my old countertops was careless and unprofessional. They never put down any protection on my brand-new floors, and while breaking apart the old stone they crushed pieces of countertop into the flooring, damaging several areas. They also punched a hole in a wall I had just repaired and said nothing--no acknowledgment, no apology, just left it for me to find later. On top of that, they left sharp broken pieces of stone inside the cabinets, on the floors, in adjoining rooms, and even in the driveway. It felt like a rushed job with zero regard for housekeeping, safety, or respect for my home. When it came time to measure for the new countertop, they incorrectly measured the area next to the refrigerator. The new top was cut too wide and is now pushing the cabinet panel out, leaving about a 1/4" gap. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they tried to blame me--saying it was already like that or that the cabinet panel was warped--and spoke to me as if I couldn't see the obvious issue. I waited weeks to hear what the next steps would be, but no one followed up. I always had to call or show up in person to get any kind of response from project managers or sales. The finished product is also poor quality. The seam is bad enough that I can catch a fingernail on it, and the edge looks rough and under-polished. Overall, this feels like a "fast and cheap" operation geared toward large apartment jobs or quick flips--not homeowners who care about quality and detail. If you value craftsmanship, clear communication, and simply getting what you paid for without having to fight for it, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. I regret giving them my business, and by the end I was just willing to accept whatever got me out of dealing with them any longer. I would not recommend Northwest Granite to anyone.
