No discount to be found. I was charged over 200 dollars to be towed just under 4 miles.

I had my vehicle towed by them last night. The service was quick and friendly, and I was looking forward to leaving them a 5 star review this morning. But, there is a problem. Instead of leaving our key in the night drop box of the shop we had it towed to, they instead hid the key inside the gas cap door and locked the car. The only way to open the gas cap door is from inside the locked car. I now have to spend $330+ on a replacement key fob for the car to get into it, and also have further delay on getting it fixed. Now I am leaving a one star review and feeling pretty bad about it. Edit: they sent a guy out to unlock the car and lo and behold the key was actually in the door to the charging port and they were able to retrieve it without breaking into the car...upping the review to three stars to reflect helping them fix the issue read more

Unfortunately I had an awful experience. After calling to ask if they could jump my car as I ran out of gas saying that I *thought* my battery had died, they were unable to get it started. They said it would be $99 for the jump. After it would not start they said they would need to tow it and charged an additional $150 plus mileage totaling $261. WHAT A JOKE. I called this company to tow my car, They charged me more then what we agree, the driver was a pushy person. In some point he told me to pay him what he wants or he will put my car on the police impound. Then I call the office to do the claim and they told me that they will give me some money back but they never did. i would give this company a negative 10 if i could i had a car i needed towed with three flat tires when i called i requested a flatbed because of this when he pulled up he did not have a flat bed instead he loaded up the front wheels and proceeded to tow it that way dragging the two back tires for miles and then acted dumb ass hell when i had him tow it to the tire shop he dropped it right in front and the tire people told him he needed to bring it to the back of the shop he was rude and vulgar with his language im not a prude by any means but when you are doing business with someone you expect some kind of commen sense not to scratch your ass and use foul language i was told they took cards and as soon as he tried to run it i had to go get cash. i will never use this company again and i dont recommend anyone else does either especially if its the old dude with the accent read more

I recommend that you avoid this place at all costs. I was charged 100 dollars for them taking a look at my car and then telling me there was an electrical short somewhere and that it would take between 5 and 15 hours to trace the short at 100 dollars an hour. Took it to another place and they found the issue in about 15 minutes and charged me literally 1/5th of the cost. It was a cold Minnesota day and looking to get out of the cold. Made a good enough repair to get me to the shop. Discount 10 minutes late (which was fine because I knew they were coming from another job) - but I wanted to call discount and let them know that I got my car running "good enough" to get out of the cold. My friend's car had the 'check engine' light on for some time and just out of coincidence, we were driving down Raymond Ave and saw a sign that said "FREE WARNING LIGHT CHECK," so we pulled in. Her car ended up needing up needing some engine work, which she had done at Discount Auto and was very happy with. I have a '69 Camaro that had been in storage for awhile and I knew needed some TLC, so I asked Ed if I could bring it in to be looked at. I did so, (I was expecting them to "find" all sorts of things that needed to be done). I was happy to hear a report that it just needed a tune up and some minor repair under the hood. The quote they gave me was quite reasonable as well.
