I started off with an Oktoberfest beer brewed locally, then my wife and I split the Fried Pickle appetizer. For entrees, we stayed German...I had the Konigsberger Klopse (German Meatballs) and my wife had Wienerschnitzel. We shared both dishes, but my favorite was the Wienerschnitzel served with Spatzle. Breakfast was full of lively conversation and laughter. The best for me was all the vegan food!! I had a REAL breakfast for once! It was homemade and I can't wait to go back to the inn and stay! You also get to keep the glasses they come in which have engraving on them. I went with the try six and they had seven to try so I gave up the gin. Tried a vodka, rum, two whiskey, and two honey liquors. Half ounce pours each. Realized I'm just not a whiskey guy but one was super smooth. I did like the honey ones, though. After my set of six, I ended up getting a vodka mixed drink and also got a four-pack of of a vodka canned cocktail which is new for them this year, and they decided to go non-carbonated. I would have preferred it to be carbonated but you can just add seltzer. The place seats a couple dozen and they are included on a lot of bus/trolley tours (a lot of bridesmaids parties) so at times it can get loud and busy. If you are under the influence you will not be served. They have t-shirts, hoodies, glassware, and even sell some pieces of the barrels so you can make your own smoked drinks. I ended up spending about $50 for my tasting flight, cocktail, and a t-shirt. I wished they were allowed to sell some small bite foods. It would make this place even better.
