Abby is great! Our dogs get a walk from Dirty Feet in the afternoons and they are always happy on the days they come by. Highly recommended.

Puppy Camp-Doggie Day Care - Another tired dog after puppy camp

Puppy Camp-Doggie Day Care

We love puppy camp and have taken our dog, Fenway, here for 15 years. It is an open space where…read moredogs can roam and play. Fenway has always come home happily tired. Even at 15 and a half years old, Fenway still enjoys the attention she gets from the staff each time she comes for the day. She is greeted by name and has never had any issues. The staff is attentive to her and when anything worrisome or concerning has arisen, they've been great about letting us know. The hours are so flexible which makes it convenient for drop off and pick up. When we go out of town, Susan has always watched Fenway for us. "Boarding" overnight has always meant that Fenway gets to go home with Susan or a staff member and cared for as if she was one of their own pets. There are no kennels and this gives us peace of mind that Fenway is able to spend the night in a similar environment as she does at home. Before we pick up Fenway after a multi-night stay, she is always given a complimentary bath so that she smells clean and fresh when we pick her up. Puppy Camp also offers a variety of grooming services and allows you to give your dog a bath for free at the facility. We take advantage of the nail trimming services regularly. We are grateful for Puppy Camp and everyone there. We have no reservations about recommending this place for any dog of any age. Our dog loved coming as a puppy, adult, and senior.

He is allowed to play as much as he likes and not forced to "nap" as other dog daycares have. He comes home happy and tired which is the goal! Kudos to the owner and entire staff. They are extremely welcoming and kind. Special shout out to Winnie who goes above and beyond for us on the regular

Allie's Walkabout

Today, I had the opportunity to visit Mary and her team at Allie's Walkabout, and I walked away…read moreincredibly impressed. Of course, you would expect a dog care facility to know dogs, but the level of knowledge and training demonstrated by this team goes far beyond expectations. They understand canine behavior, recognize signs of anxiety, and are attentive to even the slightest changes in a dog's demeanor. I observed team members carefully watching dogs that seemed a little "off," ensuring they were comfortable, safe, and receiving the attention they needed. I was equally impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. The team continuously works to maintain a clean and healthy environment, not just because it looks good, but because they understand that cleanliness is critical to the health and safety of the dogs in their care. What truly stood out, however, was something I witnessed that had nothing to do with dog care. A customer stopped by to thank the staff and mentioned that she had become engaged. Through a casual conversation, the team learned about the exciting news and later sent her flowers to celebrate the occasion. That simple gesture spoke volumes about who they are as people. Allie's Walkabout doesn't just care for animals; they genuinely care for the people who love them. The compassion, kindness, and attention they show extend beyond the dogs to every customer who walks through their doors. Outstanding businesses are built by outstanding people, and Mary and her team are a perfect example of that. They are caring, dedicated professionals who truly love animals and people alike. It was an honor to spend time with them, and I can see why so many pet owners trust them with their beloved family members.

This is an addition to my earlier review. After deciding, I would not be returning to Allie's…read moreWalkabout, I begin investigating other options in the same area. I'd like to add that "Ruffin' It" a similar Doggie Day Care,/boarding/grooming facility in the same geographical area appears to be less expensive and also has a customer friendly policy where cancellations are accepted up to 11:59 PM the night before the pet is scheduled to arrive. At 4.5 stars they also have a higher rating than Allie's. I will be looking into Ruffin' It as a better alternative to Allie's.

If it weren't for CBW he would be crated 8-5pm Monday thru Friday. Now he goes to camp on Wednesday or Thursday and gets to run and play all day, which has made a huge difference in his behavior at home. I love that I can watch Hux play on my phone or computer via the camp's webcams in each room. There's a camp counselor in each room to clean up after the dogs, make sure nothing gets out of hand, and give them a little love. The staff always greets us with a smile and now know Huxley quite well. In addition to weekly camp visits we've boarded Huxley for a night on a few different occasions. Each dog gets their own little room with a cot. I've sent a blanket and his toys to make it more homey for the night. The counselors handle feeding, medicine, etc. They even have grooming services. Huxley is known at his vet's office for hating having his nails trimmed but CBW did a great job with those once too. We love Camp Bow Wow!

We recently moved to the area and we have two adorable dogs who need grooming and boarding. We went through their process of being approved they both passed with flying colors. Next came our first time boarding, we communicated that we wanted our dogs to stay together in the same room. This was ignored and our girls stayed in two different rooms and we sternly communicated to them that this could not happen the next time we boarded. We forgave and moved on since people do make mistakes. We had them groomed a couple times and everything went smoothly until this most recent time. I went to pick up one of our dogs and the receptionist told me a final price for both the daycare and the grooming. Yet, a few a days later I look at my credit card statement and the price charged was over $20 higher than the price I was told. Very confused, we called them asking for an explanation. Their response was that the receptionist must have forgotten to tell me the final cost or I must have misheard her when I was in there or since most of their people know the additional charges that they just don't mention them. Well I am new to the area and I always appreciate transparency and good communication. Their receptionist lacked this and so did the people we talked to on the phone afterwards. Our dogs mean too much to us to work with a company who can't listen to basic instructions or communicate openly and professionally. There are much better options around so my advice is just keep looking instead of going here.
