And we hate bothering our neighbors so often to watch our cats. We used Stay At Home Pet services recently, and had a good experience. A few of the caretakers came to our home a week or so prior to our trip to see our pet care routine, ask questions, etc. During our trip, we received text message updates when they arrived and left, often with pictures of our boys. The only hiccup we had was noticing an interior door left open after they left. We let them know and they returned quickly to close it up before our boys got into something they shouldn't have. They have a great online portal for seeing and paying your bill, adding pictures/information about your home and pets. We will definitely continue to use Stay At Home Pet Services.

She then tells me well no you can't purchase the animal, they are a " barky, loud" breed and can't live next to other people if it's not in a home. I have NEVER in my life heard anyone create a random rule that you can't purchase a breed because it barks ...ALL DOGS BARK , especially puppies like wtf and i mentioned she lives in a town home, as well as her neighbors having a dog. Her attitude wasn't pleasant at all and I feel like she just didn't want to sell us a dog. Even if I lived in a home, next door neighbors can still hear a dog barking wether it's inside or out. She was just quick to dismiss and shut us down. The puppies are overpriced and the customer service is TRASH. I pray they get a new owner some day, I've never liked that lady anyways.

The techs are also sweet and very caring towards our dog. All staff has been nothing but friendly, helpful, and thorough when it comes to the health and well-being of our dog. It is easy to get an appointment here or at their other location and at Rover the Rhine, they also have weekend hours. The only downside we've run into (and hence 4 and not 5 stars) is that our dog has gotten older and to get her medication anywhere outside of their preferred (usually more pricey) pharmacy is impossible. You can get a written Rx but no online pet pharmacy will take it because it's not faxed from the office (note: you can mail it in but if the script isn't given weeks in advance you run the risk of your dog going without medication for some time). They also refuse to call in the Rx so it's slightly annoying. Thus, if you are one who likes price shopping for your pet's medications, taking your pet here for care is not an option if you choose to use their vet services. It's really unfortunate because we love going here but since we suspect our pet will need more meds as she gets older, we might have to reconsider our options.

My pomsky puppy has had several appointments so far to get all of his puppy vaccines, neutering and microchipping. The staff has always been very kind and responsive to any questions/concerns I had. Cost of services is consistent with industry standards and they take the appropriate safety precautions such as performing bloodwork to ensure your pet is safe to undergo anesthesia. That option isn't always provided at all clinics which is very concerning. I would recommend them to others and plan to have them continue to provide excellent care to my pup in the future!

I've been able to put up with their terrible communication and weird hours because they usually do such an amazing job with my Aussie. I only take him 1-2 times a year for a little trim and clean up. I always specify no shaving because he has a double coat, and it has never been a problem in the past. But this time I showed up to a completely different dog. His entire coat had been completely shaved off. Now I'll be working on it for the next several months and praying it grows back normal. They were literally told not to shave him, and it's not like we're new customers. Will not be returning here.

I (unlike the shop owner and the 'groomer') have no reason to lie. The pictures show only the visible part of the damage. The permanent damage to his trachea, his knee and front leg/shoulder cannot be seen except on X-rays. The emotional damage and PTSD is an everyday thing and I'm still working at a snails pace, gentling him back into grooming. He doesn't shake as much as he did at first but it's still awful for him. These people are monsters, and the 'groomer', Cassidy...I don't know this person, never met her before, but I do know that she has absolutely no business dealing with animals. Shame on you people! Dropped off my Pom for basic grooming with Cassidy. Instead of a well groomed fluffy happy Pomeranian, I picked up a very quiet little Pom with The entire bottom half of guard hairs cut off, you can see his skin through the undercoat that is left. He was abused in a manner that caused his trachea to partially collapse with improper use of the grooming loop. Cassidy caused his front right leg to no longer have full range of motion, and a luxating patella (his right rear leg), repaired with no issues for ten years, is knocked out of place as a result of the 'grooming' he received from Cassidy. The owner was rude, accused me of lying. Cassidy lied. Another employee there lied. Owner was physically very threatening, approaching me quickly several times stopping inches from my face, so close his spit got on my face as he yelled at me. Of that's the sort of thing you are looking for, you're going to absolutely LOVE this place!

They are the first groomer that hasn't hurt my pup while grooming him, he came back to me so happy and crazy just like when I dropped him off. The prices were incredible for the service. Normally it costs well over $100 for a doodle grooming, but I paid around $65 for the grooming (bath, trim, nails), it was more with a tip of course but they were wonderful so absolutely deserved! So thank you a ton for being good to him, he'll be back soon!!

Interventions come at a slow pace, if at all. Cleanliness is subpar at best. The staff are typically trained through videos. This leads to poor bathing and nail clipping techniques. The latter leading to injuries. The company does not offer insurance to all of their staff members. So, if your dog injury's a staff member, your guess is as good as mine on how that is solved. In any case, not a location I would let take care of my dog. I'd rather go somewhere with a well-trained staff.
