    The first time I brought my main battery to replace I was in and out great service and speed…read more Now I brought it back for the Hybrid Battery repair and here's been my journey so far Hybrid Battery Replacement. 3/23/26- Vehicle dropped off for diagnostics/invoiced received for total repairs. 3/24/26- Vehicle approved for repairs and paid $2600 parts deposit. Part ordered from Germany estimated 2-3 weeks to get. Estimated 4 week repair. 4/8/26- Texted asking for update on the battery order. 4/10/26- Text update from shop stating not yet, said they would call Monday for update. 4/20/26- Texted asking if the battery had made it in, they called the supplier and said should be any day. 4/21/26- Shop texted me update at 10pm saying the battery made it into the states and they would pick up and done by next week April 27th-May 1st range. 5/4/26- Texted for update 5/6/26- Called for update and was told they would have it done by Friday 8th or Monday 11th at the latest. 5/8/26- Sent a text advertisement for oil changes. 5/12/26- Sent another text advertisement showing they extended their oil changes special which lasts till the 22nd. 5/13/26- Took off work early and went to the shop to ask what was going on. They informed me that the owner was the only one trained to work on it and has been busy. He promised to have it done by Friday the 15th and a discount off total. 5/18/26- Texted the number again asking why I was being strung along and keep getting pushed back and asked to speak to owner. The owner texted back saying he was going to start on it that night (already 6:30pm) and through tomorrow and would text me with an update on the 19th. That they would have more people trained in a months time to prevent this from happening again. 5/19/26- No update, I drove by the shop after work and seen the cars in the same spot it's been since I dropped it off. Which means I was lied to for the 3rd time. Twice by the owner specifically. 5/20/26 1:12 pm- 18 business days of them having the battery at their shop. 3 1/2 weeks still no update. I never asked for a discount and have been giving them plenty of time. Instead of taking an honest approach they just keep stringing me along. I appreciate small businesses and understand struggles they may have. But by lying over and over instead of giving more accurate time tables it just makes your company and you look bad. I'll update the review when I finally get my car back whenever that will be.

It is now a year and a half later, and they still have our vehicle. If any employee would like to argue these claims, I have extensive proof. We are desperate for a car that we are STILL making payments on. Multiple phone calls and in person conversations fill in the gaps in messages. We call every single day and are fed excuse after excuse. We've been given countless false promises, all of which I have voice recordings of. I also have text messages and documentation to back up every single claim I am making here. They claimed to have performed repairs we did NOT authorize, as it went in for engine work, and demanded half of the payment up front. We paid them $2400 -- yet they still refuse to return our car. After the car was dropped off, they were helpful. We dealt with supplemental insurance obstacles, as well as shortage of supplies and staff in the beginning, which we were more than patient and understanding at the time. We gave grace since it was around Thanksgiving and Christmas time. We expressed that I was pregnant and we needed our second vehicle, so we trusted that they would do the right thing and get the work done as promised. January 2025 - April 2025, I was promised several times after being told there were deaths in the family, short staffing, hospitalizations, that the car would be done by Easter. At that time, I asked if I could split the remaining balance into two 2 payments, one week apart. They said that's fine. I asked if that would put the project on the back burner, to which he responded "no" to. I have this in a voice recording as well. In September 2025, out of desperation, I posted a google review and Jonathan, the owner, texted after business hours saying if I take it down, he will cover the remaining cost. He then promised again that it would be ready the following week. I took it down. To make things worse, in October 2025, they admitted they LOST THE KEYS to our car. They allowed an employee to take it home, and the employee has since been fired. They claim, to this day, that they will "get around to programming a new set." We have been lied to, manipulated, and treated like this situation is a joke. The owner, Jonathan, avoids us, refuses to communicate directly, and has even laughed at our situation while we are without our vehicle for well over a year, a vehicle we are still making payments on. The front desk workers lie for him saying he is out running errands. Then, two minutes later, you see him walk out of the office to the back. He will not speak to us. My husband had to spend all day Monday, 1/12, at the shop waiting for them to tow it to Ford like they promised in order to get the keys programmed that were lost by the shop last OCTOBER. He was told that Ford was coming to get it. My husband called Ford, and they had heard nothing of it. It was finally towed around 1:30pm because my husband refused to leave until a tow was called in front of him. Ford has since told us that none of the repairs have been completed that were promised. We are back at square one with a business who lies and an owner who will not speak to us. 1/15 - The Auto Clinic has since come and picked the car up from Ford without telling us that it is back in their possession. THE CAR HAS NOT HAD ANY REPAIRS DONE AND THE MOTOR IS USED. The Auto Clinic still has our car. This has caused incredible stress, financial strain, and emotional exhaustion. No one should ever be treated this way by a business they trusted. Again -- DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THE AUTO CLINIC IN JONESBORO LOCATED ON SHELBY DRIVE BY HYJINX.
