Nathan Myser had been overcharging my…read morefamily for insurance for YEARS - like almost 15 years. $300 per month just for automobile insurance - granted, we have more vehicles than most; however, after the premium went back up to what it was before we removed the most recent vehicle, I started getting frustrated that the price just kept going up and up. So I looked into it - I got quotes from all over town - LiMu, AmFam, State Farm, Allstate, Progressive, etc. - for the EXACT same coverage (I copied and pasted from our dec pages without price and emailed it out for quotes) - EVERYONE else's premiums for the same coverage were around HALF of what we were being charged - some were just over half, some just under. We were shocked and disgusted. SO once we signed on with another agent, we called and emailed Nathan Myser to inform him that we'd like our policy cancelled at the end of the last day of February 2020, as our new policy would begin 3/1/2020. Mind you, there was no "sorry to hear that," or "is there anything we can do to keep your business" or certainly no "thanks for your business over the last decade +," nothing like that, which I thought was rude. But then, he went and cancelled our coverage a FULL WEEK before it was requested. So then I had to contact Nationwide to get them to un-cancel our coverage so we didn't go without for a week (and they confirmed that it was the agent who cancelled the policy, this was not a computer glitch). All in all, I am ABSOLUTELY SORRY that I had ever bothered with this guy. I had several issues over the course of insuring our property with him, most of which never got resolved, including the fact that I could not access our policy documents online. If you're thinking about insuring your home or automobiles with this guy, I highly recommend you check every other carrier for the same insurance - I guarantee you will do better with just about anyone. We did, finally. We'll enjoy saving $150 per month now after getting hosed for so many years. My advice to all good people who earn an honest living - avoid this guy like the plague; you'll do better with just about anyone else.

    I started my policy on January 20 and submitted all required documentation the same day. I received…read moreconfirmation and the policy was issued. A week later, my rate increased because I had not yet used the dynamic drive app. I explained that the vehicle had just been purchased from an auction and was still in the shop. After clarification, they credited the account and adjusted the rate back. Shortly after that, I received an email stating they had not received prior insurance documentation despite the fact that it had already been submitted on January 20. I had to speak with four different customer service representatives before they finally located the documents. I was told the rate would be corrected back to the agreed amount. Two weeks passed and nothing was adjusted. Due to the repeated billing inconsistencies and lack of follow-through, I canceled the policy before the next payment due date (the 20th) and switched providers. After canceling, I received an email stating I owed a balance related to automatic draft cancellation. This entire experience was frustrating and unnecessarily complicated. Clear communication, accurate documentation handling, and consistent billing are fundamental expectations when purchasing insurance. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those standards.
