They gave us free brownie bites, samples of any flavor, and even ice water. The decor was really fun and animals and lights every where, very attention getting. There's also a lot of seating outside and even parking on the street and the side of the building. In terms of ice cream and price? Pretty good! I got a shake and you can get a shake of any flavor. I got the espresso ice cream in a shake and my wife got a kids cup size of the vegan ultimate Oreo with a sugar cone. OH Importantly, they have a good amount of vegan options! Also you can order custom cakes here too. There are a ton of different cone types and toppings to choose from so we'll definitely have to come back. Lastly: CASH ONLY! DONT FORGET, CASH ONLY! We'll be back!

I'm not complaining but it's really going above and beyond and we are here for it. Now it's really overstimulating as we were in need for some chill and this is not the spot. If we had some mushrooms, this place would be ideal but not for a Sunday @ 3pm. I believe I had a Rocky Road Shake. It was good and very creamy! It was great. My wife had 2 scoops - one of which was Mint Chocolate Chip. While I don't remember the exact price, I do remember thinking this was a lot for a shake and 2 scoops of ice cream. Maybe it was pricey to offset the samples and brownie distribution? Who knows. I do know you have to bring cash and need to be in the mood to take in overstimulation of music and animal themed angst inside.

All the sweet treats are up to standard just like every Michocana ice cream franchise. What makes it 5 stars is the customer service which is beyond above. Also, someone came after me who was asking for a torta, so I assumed there was an option besides ice creams and sweets. As you check out, don't forget to put your number in so you can add points to your future purchases. Would definitely go back again for that location!

The prices are fair and I would be willing to one back again. The place is rather hidden since it is on the opposite side of the HIP and behind the FedEx or Tire Shop on the corner. The flavors are just always so spot on, and the staff have always been so kind to us. Ordering is a breeze, and parking is usually doable with their private lot (but consider busy summers as a factor given the allure of sweet treats to beat the heat). Yesterday was the first or second 70 degree day of 2026, so the weather was perfect and the seasonal re-opening of the DQ a mile away was to our advantage because the crowd was a bit quieter here and we were able to find a street spot. I think my daughter was overwhelmed when we walked in; there are lots of choices. She could barely contain herself, but I guess that's to be expected of a two year old. I got her a kiddie scoop of decadent chocolate, which she liked but may have been a bit too chocolatey for her. Or maybe she just wanted to taste a bit of mine and was done with the chocolate. I got a single scoop of the caramel ice cream. I'm not really sure if the sizes were different or if it was the size of the cup because they seemed the same. Both ice creams were so flavorful, really rich. It's a dangerous place to stop that's for sure. But next time I'm getting a scoop of each! As with almost all the South Park businesses, there's no dedicated parking. You'll look for street parking. South Park is across the street so I imagine some days at the wading pool with a stop for ice cream afterward are in our future. There's seating both in and outside; we sat outside and it was really pleasant. They have pre-portioned ice cream in a cooler inside as well as ice cream cakes, and a water dispenser as well. They have a little cart that I've seen at various functions around town as well, if you're out and about and happen upon them. You can also rent the cart for your own event! The staff were helpful, the store was neat and tidy. This is a wonderful small business in Park Ridge and we're so lucky to have them here!
