Warning: Apparently on weekends they refuse to have small calzones, stromboli's, and pizzas. Forcing customers to spend $22 in medium for only 1 person to eat. Mind you that doesnt include their toppings so you can be paying an upwards of $30 for a 3 topping medium pizza which is absolutely ridiculous. That's very poor business practices to force higher profits. Very shady if you ask me. Will no longer be coming here despite their food being good; I refuse to support a business that treats their customers this way. Supply and demand is key in any business. Wow. I can't believe I found good pizza in Florida!! Not just good pizza but really good pizza! I'm spoiled being that l live in NYC and have so many options for good pizza and every other place I've tried over the years in Florida were always sub par to me. This place definitely lives up to my standards. The pizza was very fresh and awesome thin crust with just the right amount of crunchiness and gooey cheesy heaven on top. Came to visit DiPiazza after seeing the barstool guy pop in. Would have to say I sure enjoyed the food and the great customer service. We ordered a large pizza well done and it was delicious. I come to dipiazza atleast once every two weeks so it bothers me to write a bad review but i just left with a horrible experience because of a waitress. I came with 6 others and it bothered me that Maria had no courtesy at all while waiting our table. To begin she was very informal in the way she took our order, she then proceeded to forget my friends order altogether and when he asked her about it she didnt say anything and put the order in. Then came back after we were done eating to tell him itd be a few more minutes. He asked her did you forget to put my order and she said yes. No apology, nothing. Just a yes i forgot. She then got mad that my friend said to cancel the order cause everyone was done eating and gave us all our checks basically kicking us out. Really sad experience with her. I went to this pizza place November 13, 2020 at around 8:30pm. We were able to sit down right way. Waitress was great! Ordered Wings, fried calamari, and white pizza. Wings were not tossed in any sauce. It was place on the side. Fried calamari was lightly batter and tasty and good portion for price I paid. Pizza was not good at all it was dry crust. Thick and cheese was not so good tasted like processed cheese. Not happy with the pizza With all of that and a coke the total came to around $50 Overall it was good but that particular pizza was not good at all. Driving around Westland Mall area to find something quick to eat. We ordered a side of garlic roll- which for a good price, you get a dozen for $4 and some change. The rolls were good and buttery but I think the bread was previous frozen, because it was a little chewy. The top of the rolls was a little hard to bite off. As our entree, we ordered an eggplant parmigiano sub. The cheese looked so delicious, it was bubbly and hot! As for the eggplant, it was good but felt it was a little over cooked- the eggplant was smooshy and falling apart. It didn't really have seasoning as well, I had to put oregano and red peppers flakes to add some flavor to it. The customer service was good and our food came out pretty quickly. I'm deducting 2 stars because of the service (or nonexistent service) Stephany provided. We sat in a booth towards the back near the restrooms. The restaurant was not very packed at all, at least not our section. We were given menus by a very sweet older server. We were hoping she'd be our server but no. Then, Stephany took our order...one large cheese pizza, a dozen garlic rolls, 2 sodas and 1 tea. The food came out very quickly especially the pizza since we hadn't even finished our garlic rolls yet. Btw, yet another server brought the food out to us. Not once did Stephany check on us in case we needed refills for our sodas and tea, or just check to see if we needed anything else. When we were done, we sat for a while waiting for the check. Stephany did serve other patrons in our area and never came by to ask if we wanted anything else or give us our check. My husband had to go up to the front, flag someone down to pay. What is so disheartening about this visit is that this was the first time in many many years that we had been there and Stephany totally ruined our experience. Unfortunately, because of this, we will never return. In reality, the food wholeheartedly deserves 5+ stars and it was just as good as all those years ago. Glad we went one last time. Was glad that it was ready on time but extremely disappointed that upon logging into my online banking after paying with card, that the employees added extra money to the tip that left. Not cool at all. They are probably taking advantage of people who don't check their ledger and are overcharging their customers. I think they have the best pizza in Hialeah, would definitely recommend it. I've tried their spinach pasta and it wasn't the best but was edible. The garlic bread was ok, nothing out of this world. I love a restaurateur who stands his ground. Jodi asked if she could have the chicken scarpariello without the peperoncini, and the proprietor said, "But it wouldn't be chicken scarpariello without peperoncini!". She trusted him and didn't regret it; not only were the peppers made milder by the cooking, but it was so delicious that she ate her fill happily and then ate the rest as leftovers later that night. As for me, I was wise enough to choose the 'bruschetta' pizza, made with olive oil, fresh tomatoes, and fresh garlic, on a crust that was charred and chewy underneath the toppings and flatbread-crisp at the edges. This, too, was both delicious enough to eat plenty of, and plentiful enough to survive in the form of leftovers. Di Piazza pizza is so yummy that you'll be sad when you poop. read more

Pete and his brother own the place, his daughter Bridgette is activiely involved--the whole family plays a role! Garlic rolls are hand rolled every day, baked to a moderately hard shell outside with warm fluffy goodness inside that's perfect for mopping up their fresh garlic and oil sauce. My favorite dish is their house specialty: Pasta Di Piazza: Sun-dried Tomatoes, Spinach, Chicken & Cream Sauce. It is out of this world! GREATEST HOLE IN THE WALL IN HIALEAH! My family has been coming here for years. It's truly a gem. The wait staff is nice, but the food is spectacular. Love the old Italian restaurant and family-business feel with the pictures on the wall and the red, white, and green decor and booths. My favorite dishes for my Vegans/Vegetarians: are the Carlos Ponti Pasta (with delicious veggies like eggplant & peas) and the Broccoli Pasta, your choice of pasta (I usually order it with Penne). The pizza is just average in my opinion. It's good but it's a pizza you can find in most no chain Italian restaurants. There was nothing spectacular about it. The ambiance is not what I desire very mom and pops in a humble part of town. Prices are more expensive than other places we've visited and don't really go with the demographics and socioeconomic of the area I. Which they are located.
