I had the privilege of getting my lashes done Fri. by Selena, I love the shop's atmosphere but what did it for me was Selena's personality....sweet& beautiful inside&out. She made my visit comfortable&welcomed. She did exactly what I asked for, she never made my session feel like It was just a cash transaction. Extra service's we're not sneaked in to increase cost, that has been an issue with other lash shop's, they give you a price and halfway through session they tell you that they have to pay for more services to get the look you want even after they quoted the lower price before you began. When it was time to check out, they are advertising 20%off promo on Yelp, I COULDN'T FIND IT when it was time to pay! I was holding up the line, the beautiful receptionist took my word and honored the 20% THAT'S GREAT SERVICE!! Of course I found it as soon as I got home. UPDATE: 7/2/18 "Selena" the owner of this place contacted me here on yelp regarding to my situation. She said it may have been the glue they used on me since they have 3 different ones depending on the patient. She was really nice about the situation, very professional and offer me to please go back to have my lashes done by her to fixed them for free & see what was the problem, plus a refund if for any reason any of the glues didn't worked on me. At the end of the day I was really pleased with the solution she offer me & I'm happy with my full set of lashes, I feel bad now for the review I put up since I was upset like any of you girls would have been at the moment but I should of contact her first. Just paid 149 bucks for this hot mess. I mean i just got them done. This was supposed to be a volume set in fairness to Londie my lashes were short and damaged. I thought they would have looked better than my 6 dollar strips though. I will wear them until after the holiday then I will remove them. The shop was clean. The table was comfy. They played loud country music late in the evening so I could not relax. This was my first individual set. I am dissatisfied and will not go back. Update! Once I post the review I was given an option to have the owner fix it or have them removed and my money refunded to me. I chose to have the owner Selena do them for me. I've been coming here now for over 2 years consistently and my eyelashes are perfect everytime. I won't let anyone do my lashes but Esther. She is honestly the best. Woke up the next morning and haven't shed a single lash which to me is always a good sign. Everyone at Selena's are professional and do a great job. My lashes we leaning making my eyes look weird, then on the inside and outside of my left eye they were hardly hanging on and were glued to my lashes no my lid. I tried calling that night I was still in the lot I knew they were inside still but no answer so I left a message and it's been two days and nothing and I go back to work tomorrow and at this rate I'll be looking like an idiot because of these ugly lashes. read more

I purchased a Groupon and had a keratin lift and tint. I had the service completed and my lashes seriously looked like a poodle. They were so tightly curled they hit my eyelid, mascara would be a klumpy mess, and I purchased their recommended mascara. I called and explained what my lashes looked like and that I wasn't happy and asked if anything could be done to fix my lashes. Love this place!! Got a full set done here last weekend, for a mega volume set with Kayla. And I have gotten so many compliments already! Conveniently located off the 91 freeway. The studio is clean and really cute. The owner makes her own products, including specialized lashes and cleanser. I bought the cleanser, and it leaves your eyes and lashes feeling super fresh. The prices are a little higher than your average "lash girl" but comparable to other lash studios out there (such as Amazing lash), and Selena's doesn't charge for add-ons or work by a master lash artist. Prices are straight forward. And extensions are 100% Individualized to each lash. The studio and service are completely worth it. You get what you pay for!! And that's bomb lashes! Service by Kayla was great! Love her personality!! She made me feel completely comfortable during my entire 3 hour appointment. When I explained I wanted mega volumes, she was realistic about expectations for my set (considering I previously had extensions that I felt damaged my real lashes) and that we would add more volume/length during each refill in the next few weeks. During the service, she gave me tips and tricks about how I could retain more lashes, daily care, and overall making sure they look bomb all the time!
