We ordered a large, 4 topping (sausage, onion, mushrooms and tomatoes) and it was @ $29. Bring cash because that's all they take. The pizza had a lot of flavour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We'd absolutely be back and despite what some other reviews say, I'm sure you'll enjoy it too.

The balsamic glaze one was a bit too sweet for my taste but the pesto had a delicious creamy flavour. We had their hummus with pita, which lacked depth from some much needed salt and lemon. Their pretzel bites were amazing with the sweet garlic and mustard sauces, could not get enough of that. For the drinks, we ordered ciders which we found was more like sparkling soda than a cider. With COVID, it has been difficult to celebrate the occasions that have arisen, but now the restrictions are slightly eased, although you still have to wear a mask (hence the armour with the face mask over the face). So, our answer was a road trip to Belleville for lunch with Step Mom (thanks for coming out! That was great to celebrate in person!) at a restaurant we had not tried yet, in the south end; not as busy as downtown. After lunch, we parted ways with Step Mom, and drove, and drove and drove... and ended up in Prince Edward County - where we were directed to by the CAA in Belleville to visit the wine trail. Ok - truth here: we're going to have to spend a few days or a week on this trail! There's such a lot to see!! We ended up stopping at a microbrewery to pick up a 6 or 8-pack, then found this Winery. They were pretty close together so that was easy. I picked up a bottle of wine. My only disappointment was that we didn't get to try the wine before choosing it. They offer samplings for a nominal fee (was it $5?), which would be refunded if you bought a bottle of wine. Wines offered were in the $25 range. For a change, I chose a white wine, although I usually prefer red. The winery is quite pretty! There's a lot going on here, and I can imagine it would be quite the place, hopping with energy, prior to COVID restrictions. Their ground beef has got a real nice subtle kick to it. Toppings were all plenty and flavorful. The breaded skin absorbed the hot sauce nicely and they were so good, even without dipping sauce (which I usually need). Price: The only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars was the price. I almost laughed out loud when I saw them serving a plate of jerk chicken dinner for $20. The town is small so maybe they're the only ones that serve it but coming from Toronto, that's just ridiculous. The pizza and wings came up to $45 so they're in the pricey side for sure.

The oysters were medium sized and tasted very fresh. The restaurant had plenty of outside seating (and is dog friendly!), with a rustic feel to it. The winery itself was beautiful. There are other small wineries in PEC that produce better quality wines that don't have that homemade backyard taste and they charge $3-5 for an ounce tasting.

We arrived at 12 pm and there was roughly a line of five people ahead of us and heaps of people leaving the store with pizza boxes. The parking lot was busy. While in line, we met the owner Anthony. Based on our conversation, one could tell that he is passionate about what he does and enjoys it. He spoke of his training in Italy and that he is one of the few Pizzaiolo in Canada. Their patio was full and the owner set up a table with his chairs from Tuscany by the entrance/exit to the kitchen. He said that when the restaurant is sometimes full, he used to bring out his own furniture. The pizza was phenomenal. Anthony said that he wakes up at 5 am to start on the dough, but was unable to share his secrets on how great the dough was. It had more of a phyllo texture and the meat was delicious. Overall, we very much enjoyed our experience learning about the history.
