I saw a lot of mixed reviews but I'm so hungry and this is the first place I saw while driving They offer a variety of dishes, including Honey Sesame Chicken, Mongolian BBQ Deluxe, and Lo Mein Noodles. The service is generally considered friendly, and the buffet-style dining allows a good selection of items. I had a good experience, the ambiance is relaxing, the waitress is nice and welcoming.

Zoom in on the blades and you can see the grease.

A big no for me. I was 6 to 7 bites into my food and a drip of grease from their ceiling fan dripped right on my head. No thanks I was done eating.

Wasn't able to take pic on our meal since we got sooo hungry and finished our food all the way! They gave us fortune cookies after.

The food is real great! Customer service as well is as great as their food. We came there without any idea that it was a buffet, but we stayed because it was $17 only for a buffet! Budget friendly, great service, great food. 5/5 for me! We'll be back soon. :)

For a long time, Ding How wasn't my favorite. Their buffet is mediocre, from the sesame chicken to the egg rolls. However, their Mongolian BBQ is fire! The chef who has been there for years and is usually there when I've gone is fantastic. He makes the Szechuan rich and flavorful and adds exactly the amount of spiciness requested. Not to be forgotten, everyone there (especially the chef) is very friendly. I will say that if you select larger broccoli florets you can expect them to be undercooked - win some and lose some, right? This photo is from the last time I went and my mouth is watering for more now! Give them a try.

Came to this spot at the recommendation of a friend, I've never had Mongolian BBQ. When you first walk in you feel like you're in the typical Chinese restaurant. Same Asian decor and such. They do have the obligatory Chinese buffet. What's different about this place if you can get the stir fry styled dish if your choosing. You pick the meat, vegetables, sauce etc and they put it on a huge cooking platform and toss it with what appears to be giant chopsticks. What comes out of this is fresh stir fry to your tastes and design. Very interesting place to eat to say the least. The staff was all very accommodating and the place is clean and seemed to be well stocked. Food tasted very good. Needless to say I will be back to this gem.

The Mongolian was mediocre. We understand that it is Alaska but the variety was not par.

Ok, so we usually only go here when husband gets home late on date night, and it's gone past…read moredinnertime, so we know we have to go somewhere where the food is instantly available, where i don't have to wait for it to be cooked, otherwise i have a hangry meltdown freak out. Choices are limited for this type of eating - we normally go here, or OEC Revolving Sushi. Taco King also serve food super fast, but aren't somewhere I'd consider for date night, though I'm happy to go there any other night. Anyway, Golden Corral - it has a bad reputation, but i really don't have issues with it. In some of my foody groups, the steaks are consistently rated well, and they always look to be cooked very nicely. It's not at all a glamorous dining room, it's very utilitarian, with informational posters liberally sprinkled around the room. It is ALWAYS busy. I have never seen the place empty, or even sparsely filled. The servers work hard here, and are back and forth constantly. You never have to wait for a drink refill - they are ON IT. I'm not really the type of person who can make the most of an All-You-Can-Eat buffet dinner. I get super hungry, however i can't fit as much in, as i think i can. *My eyes are bigger than my belly* The salad bar is where i go to first, and there is a decent selection, it's normally nice and fresh too. I'll just list the things i consistently get, as i obviously love them. Bourbon Chicken, Fried Rice, Breaded Shrimp, Onion Rings (those are REALLY good) Mushrooms, Steak Fries, Baked Beans, Pot Roast, Hot Link Sausage, Mash - these are all regular things i get. The other items they serve may be equally good, but i rarely deviate when i find a thing I like. So, that's 2 plates - 1 of salad, 1 plate of those things i listed above, and then tonight instead of those tiny bowls for desserts, i just got a plate. Those bowls are way too tiny. I'm not normally a fan of desserts tbh, but they had these mini churros, and since Costco had the absolute NERVE to take those amazing Churros off their menu in the food court, it was most gratifying to see these really good looking mini churros. I got 4, along with some chocolate pudding to dip them in, and some white whipped topping of some kind, a Rice Krispie Treat, some Carrot Cake, some Mud Pie. The Carrot Cake is usually good. The Mud Pie was not my cup of tea at all, just a generic brown chocolatey sort of filling topped with a whipped topping. I don't know what it is, but i feel this country does not enjoy real Whipped Cream as much as I do. And no, I am not referring to a squirt from a can. What I'm talking about is Heavy Whipping Cream (40% fat content) with some powdered sugar, and vanilla essence, whipped into firm peaks, which is actually Chantilly Cream, and it's highly underestimated, and under utilised in this country. I make it myself in all my desserts, and my friends seem to enjoy it, but it's rarely offered in restaurants. The artificial stuff is no nearly as nice, and has a distinct synthetic taste. How can people prefer it to real Whipped Cream? (not from a can) So anyway, Fine Dining it's not. But if you're very hungry and can eat a lot of food, and need to just sort of, get your head in the trough, you can't go far wrong with Golden Corral, and I'll continue to come here when I'm Hangry.

A Culinary Delight at Everest…read more Located on Old Seward Highway, Everest stands out as a beacon for lovers of Indian cuisine. As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped in an ambiance that exudes warmth and authenticity, accentuated by traditional décor and soothing music. The waitstaff was impeccably dressed, inviting, and friendly. The menu is a delightful journey through India's diverse tapestry of flavors, and a buffet is available during the week. From the moment we took our first bite of the food, the rich spices and freshly grilled notes were simply mesmerizing. The butter chicken was a showcase of culinary mastery -- tender chicken in a creamy, tomato-based sauce that was perfectly balanced. The garlic naan bread was so delicious, we ordered a second basket! For those seeking something unique, the lamb biryani was an absolute revelation. Aromatic basmati rice layered with succulent lamb, enriched with saffron, was the star of the evening. Every dish is crafted with such care that it tells a story of tradition and passion. What truly sets Everest apart, however, is its impeccable service. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to enhance your dining experience. They guided us through the menu perfectly, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring that our glasses were never empty. In a world where dining out is often about convenience, Everest restores the joy of eating out with its exquisite food, charming atmosphere, and attentive service, while still catering to those seeking a quick meal by having a drive through. When we got there we were brought to our seats. It was a long shared table for everyone. It seems as they were lacking some preparation, there wasn't a course menu on the table so you had zero idea of what you were about to be served. The first course came out, a carrot soup with an IPA. The IPA didn't come out for at least 5 minutes after the soup was out. Definitely some lag time there. Carrot soup 3/5 The short rib with golden yukon mashed potatoes was next with the caison which was amazing both the beer and the food. Short rib 5/5 The dessert was an interesting dark chocolate cake with burnt marsh mellow frosting situation. It was very dense and a large portion. I would have enjoyed the cake if it was fluffy and light after the big short rib entree. Dessert 3/5 The service was good overall, it was cool to have the brewers sit next to us and chat with them about beer. I think there's some work that could be done here at these events for the price of the tickets but overall the experience was very nice.
