ZERO STARS IS MORE ACCURATE I am writing this to warn…read moreothers about the incredibly poor experience I had with Agave Mortgage Brokers. Their performance throughout the entire process was utterly pathetic. They seemingly cannot read basic financial documents--specifically Shareworks statements. They saw and requested the exact same documents on over 10 separate occasions. Then, finally, on the 11th time, they actually decided to look at them and ask questions about the accounts and statements. This absolute incompetence caused a massive, last-minute pivot and wasted 2 entire months of my time just to get to that point. Combined with horrible communication along the way, it was an incredibly stressful and unprofessional experience. Save yourself the headache and take your business to a broker that actually values your time, communicates transparently, and knows how to review basic paperwork. Avoid them at all costs.

Which is fine as I found an amazing company that did a fantastic job through Yelp. Refi is already done and signed on Wednesday. But just so they know... I was reached out to and definitely felt remorse on their end on the mix up. I obviously cannot give them a high rating as I didn't get to work with them and don't know how well they do personally. But from the amount of positive ratings they have received from others they may be worth checking out. My mix up appears to be just a small blip and not of the ordinary.
